Ethan Gage Martin
BROWNWOOD - Ethan Gage Martin, infant, died Monday in Fort Worth.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Ethan was born in Fort Worth.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff Martin and Shannon Stickney of Brownwood; one half-brother, Dylan Cade Martin; grandparents James and Viki Sanders of Franklin and Bill and Laura McAtee of Arlington; great-grandparents Faye Elms of Brownwood, JoAnn and Bill Carlisle of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ancil and Joyce Hall of Bangs and Robert Stickney of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several aunts and uncles.

Ruby Turner Gatlin
Ruby Turner Gatlin, 88, of Wichita Falls and formerly of Abilene, an Abilene school teacher for 42 years, died Monday in a Wichita Falls nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in IOOF Cemetery with Dr. Phil Christopher officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Gatlin was born in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School in 1925 and Simmons College, now Hardin-Simmons University, in 1928. She also earned a master's degree from HSU in 1957. She taught school in McCaulley for one year and Rotan for three years. She started teaching Spanish at Abilene High School in 1932 and when it became Lincoln Junior High School, continued at that campus until retiring in 1974.
She moved to Wichita Falls in 1993 from Abilene and was active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and American Association of Retired Persons. She was a member of Alpha Chi, an honorary society, at Simmons College, Delta Kappa Gamma, Abilene Retired Teachers Association, and the Sage Group of Abilene Garden Club. She also was a member of the LLL Club and Hazel Thompson Group of Women's Missionary Union at Abilene First Baptist Church and was the widow of A. Harvey Gatlin, whom she married in 1934 in Abilene.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane Labe Benton of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren; one step grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.

Dorothy Graham Bilbrey
TUSCOLA -- Dorothy Graham Bilbrey, 86, lifelong local resident, died Tuesday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Tuscola First Baptist Church with the Rev. T.C. Melton officiating. Burial will be in Tuscola Cemetery, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bilbrey was born in Tuscola and worked as a telephone operator at the Windsor Hotel in Abilene for many years. She was employed by the Abilene State School for 18 years until retiring in 1973. She was a charter member of the auxiliary of American Legion Post 664 and the Rebecca Lodge of International Order of the Oddfellows, both in Tuscola, and also was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Flavious Roberson, whom she married in 1929 in Tuscola; Bennie Twomey, whom she married in 1963 in Clyde; and Ellis "Bill" Bilbrey, whom she married in 1972 in Baird.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice Rhea Duncan of Strawn and Luna Jane Mitchell of Abilene; two brothers, Jim Graham and Joe Graham, both of Tuscola; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret 'Tootie' Kessler
ARTESIA, N.M. -- Margaret "Tootie" Kessler, 98, formerly of Abilene, died Monday in Carlsbad, N.M.
Mass will be said at 8 a.m. today in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Johnson officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, directed by Terpening & Son Mortuary.
Mrs. Kessler was born in Montpelier, Ind., and was a retired department store bookkeeper. She moved to Artesia in 1977 from Abilene. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was the widow of Charles Kessler, whom she married in 1928 in Roswell, N.M.
Survivors include one sister, Dorothy Foster of Artesia; and one niece, Mary Anne Berliner of Artesia.

Carrie Brinell
STAMFORD -- Carrie Brinell, 77, died Monday at her home after a lengthy illness.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. today in Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. Paul McGlasson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Ericksdahl, directed by Kinney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brinell was born in Georgetown, Grand Camon, British West Indies, and moved to Stamford in 1946. She was a volunteer at the Stamford VIP Center and for Meals on Wheels. She was an elder at Central Presbyterian Church and was the widow of Oliver Carl Brinnell, whom she married in 1945 in Georgetown, Grand Camon.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Jones of Tulsa, Okla., Dorothy Doan of Stamford and Kathleen Grimes of Breckenridge; two brothers, Andrew Gressman of Levelland and Leonard Gressman of Callahan, Fla.; one sister, Mary Gressman of Georgetown, Grand Camon, British West Indies; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Central Presbyterian Church in Stamford or a favorite charity.

Estelle Orr
BROWNWOOD -- Estelle Orr, 83, lifelong local resident, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lost Creek Cemetery with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Orr was born in San Saba and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church and was the widow of Henry H. Orr Sr., whom she married in Brownwood.
Survivors include one son, Henry H. Orr Jr. of Plano; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Rebecca Estelle Norman
GRAHAM -- Rebecca Estelle Norman, 92, died Sunday in Lufkin.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Rule Cemetery.
Mrs. Norman was born in Bell County and lived in Haskell County most of her life. She worked at the Rule Drug Store and Haskell Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of Berry Jefferson Norman, whom she married in 1924.
Survivors include one daughter, Robbye Nell Walker of Graham; three sisters, Adelle Bogard of Clyde, Nola Pierson of Lafayette, La., and Willie John Viney of Lubbock; one brother, George Field of Haskell; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Wayne Allgood
BROWNWOOD -- Wayne Allgood, 48, lifelong local resident, died Monday in a local hospital after an eight-month illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Cecil Cox and Robert Carnes officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Allgood was born in Brownwood, where he married Sharon Tinney in 1966, and worked at the 3-M warehouse for 21-1/2 years. He was a member of New Beginnings Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, of Brownwood; one daughter, Angela Denise Allgood of Brownwood; one son, Jody Wayne Allgood of Brownwood; his mother, Myrel Allgood of Brownwood; three brothers, Bill Allgood of Fort Worth, Walt Allgood of Lake Brownwood and his twin, Dwayne Allgood of Brownwood; one sister, Arlene English of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Boyed Wayne Belyeu
COMANCHE -- Boyed Wayne Belyeu, 68, of Abilene, died Monday in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in De Leon Cemetery, directed by Comanche Funeral Home.
Mr. Belyeu was born in Dublin and married Doris Evelyn Markham in 1956 in Rising Star. He worked as a lumberyard manager.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; one son, Kerry Belyeu of Abilene; three daughters, Paula Woodard of Houston, Kathy Markham of San Antonio and Carla Gonzales of Guam; one brother, Billy Belyeu of Comanche; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
