Marshall Carnelious Cox
GIRARD -- Marshall Carnelious Cox, 86, died Thursday in a Rotan hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Jayton Baptist Church with the Rev. David Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Jayton Cemetery, directed by Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.
Mr. Cox was born in Van Zandt County and married Wanda Fincher in 1940 in Spur. He moved to Girard in 1950 and was a farmer. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Girard; one son, Larry Cox of Cranfills Gap; one daughter, Marsanette Cox of Girard; one brother, R.D. Cox of Terrell; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Delma Martin
Delma (Mrs. T.A.) Martin, 91, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Elmwood Memorial Park with the Rev. David Cason officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Martin was born in Oklahoma and attended school in Scurry County. She moved to Abilene in 1945 from Snyder and worked in the greenhouses at North Park Nursery and Martin Nursery. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Thomas A. Martin, whom she married in 1924 in Snyder.
Survivors include two sons, Preston Martin of Blairsville, Ga., and Harold Martin of Aransas Pass; three daughters, Eva Beth McCarter of Snyder, Faye Rhodes of Abilene and Sylvia Saferight of El Paso; three sisters, Velma Lawhon of Victoria, Lois Blankenship of San Pablo, Calif., and Louise Glacious of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; one brother, Houston White of Snyder; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

Lloyd Thomas Moore
COLORADO CITY -- Lloyd Thomas Moore, 69, of Brady and formerly of Colorado City, died Friday in Brady.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Colorado City Cemetery with the Rev. John Taylor officiating, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore was born in Paris, Texas, and was a World War II veteran. He married Ruby Hulme in 1946 in Abilene and worked as a carpenter. He moved to Brady in 1993 from Colorado City.
Survivors include his wife, of Archer City; two daughters, Meradith Mooney of Archer City and Suzette Meador of Decatur; one son, Wayland Moore of Colorado City; two sisters, Helen Crockett of Bridgeport and Ann Smith of San Angelo; two brothers, Raymond Moore of Artesia, N.M., and Kenneth Moore of Monahans; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Norma Coleman Kelley
HASKELL -- Norma Coleman Kelley, 65, of Riverside, N.M., died Thursday at her home.
A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. today in Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Artesia, N.M. with David Brunson and Pinson McWhorter officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Willow Cemetery with Dr. Troy Culpepper officiating, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Kelley married Carlton Kelley in 1950. She moved to Artesia, N.M. in 1978 and, with her husband, started Kelley Drill Collar Service and Oilfield Machine Shop in Riverside, N.M.
Survivors include her husband, of Riverside, N.M.; one son, Tony Kelley of Spur; one daughter, Pam Fernandez of Santa Fe, N.M.; one sister, Marjorie Mathis of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two brothers, Eugene Coleman and Ronald Coleman, both of Anton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Lois Teague
ROTAN -- Lois Teague, 77, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rotan First Baptist Church with the Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Belvieu Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Teague was born in Roby and married Milton Teague in 1969 in Rotan. She worked for several years at the Gyp Mill and also was a bus driver for the Rotan school system until retiring. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Rotan; one daughter, Francis West of Rotan; one son, Bradley Brittian of Houston; one sister, Don Leta Teel of Claytonville; four brothers, Calvin Crow of Rotan, Jessie Crow of Amarillo, and Kennith Crow and Billy Crow, both of Sweetwater; one stepsister, Florance Tambert; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Dr. Carl Jordan
DUBLIN -- Dr. Carl Jordan, 83, a retired physician, died Saturday at his home.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Dublin with the Rev. Kyle Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Dublin Live Oak Cemetery, directed by Harrell Funeral Home.
Dr. Jordon was born in Lockesburg, Ark., and married June Turner in 1938. He moved to Dublin in 1947 and was a past member of the Dublin Independent School District's board of trustees. He attended Harvey Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for 46 years.
Survivors include his wife, of Alexander; one daughter, Jackie Jordan Ford of Hamilton; two sons, Dr. David Jordan of Ruston, La., and Paul Jordan of Grand Prairie; three granddaughters and three grandsons.

Jackie Anz
SWEETWATER -- Jackie Anz, 65, died Friday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sweetwater Cemetery with the Rev. David Edwards officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Mr. Anz was born in Anson and graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. After graduating from Texas Tech University, he set up an accounting business in Midland. He retired to Lake Amsted before moving to Sweetwater in spring 1997 due to an illness.
Survivors include two brothers, John Anz and Robert Anz, both of Sweetwater; two sisters, Nettie Imhoff of Barnstable Village, Maine, and Dorothy Manning of Rockledge, Fla.; step-mother Betha Anz of Beaver, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy E. Carroll Johnson
BANGS -- Dorothy E. Carroll Johnson, 85, a great-great-grandmother and active volunteer, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. R.J. Elkins and Charles Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Coleman City Cemetery, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Jenkins Springs and lived in Coleman for many years. In 1931, she married Lt. Col. Onie A. Carroll in Brownwood. He died in 1973. She married her second husband, DanielJohnson, in 1975. He passed away in 1979. Mrs. Johnson volunteered for a number of organizations, including Meals on Wheels, the Soup Kitchen, and the Red Cross. She was a member of Avenue D Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She lived in Brownwood and Bangs for the last several years.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Wisecup of Bangs; two sons, Onie A. Carroll Jr. and David Carroll, both of Brownwood; one sister, Roxie Elkins of Brownwood; seven grandchildren; 24 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Lena Fae Coston
WAXAHACHIE -- Lena Fae Coston, 82, a Brown County native, died Thursday at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Eastlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Allen officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. Coston was born in Brown County and was married in Brownwood to Melvin Coston in 1935. The couple lived in Freestone County for 30 years before moving to Waxahachie in 1996. Mrs. Coston was a homemaker and a Baptist. She became a widow in May 1997.
Survivors include one son, John Coston of Waxahachie; one sister, Louise Meter of Bishop; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
