Angie Blueford
SWEETWATER - Angie Blueford, 50, died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Rose Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Jones officiating, directed by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blueford was born in Rosebud and worked for Lang Aycock Day Care. She was a member of Mount Rose Baptist Church. She married George Blueford Jr. in 1966 in Rosebud.
Survivors include her husband of Sweetwater; three sons, Auendrea Blueford, Lamar Blueford and Jason Blueford, all of Sweetwater; two daughters, Mica Blueford of Sweetwater and Bobbie Jo Gibson of Nassau, Bahamas; her mother, Robbie Lee Green of Rosebud; one brother, Leonard Green Jr. of Dallas; six sisters, Bobbie English and Jerelyn Williams, both of Dallas, Margaret Warren of Garland, Virginia White of Shorthills, N.J., Ballerie Hargrove of New Jersey and Zetta Anderson of Monahans; and 13 grandchildren.

Kathleen Owen
BROWNWOOD - Kathleen Owen, 43, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Drs. Sam Tomlinson and Richard Evans officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Owen was born in Denton and attended school in Lubbock and Brownwood. She attended Howard Payne College and graduated from Central Texas Commercial College. She lived in Lubbock before moving to Brownwood in 1972. She was a jailer and dispatcher for Brown County Sheriff's Department and a member of the Worship Center and Emmaus. She married William Carl Owen in 1972 in Lubbock.
Survivors include her husband, of Brownwood; two sons, Joshua Lee Owen and David Wayne Owen, both of Brownwood; her mother, Hazel Pearl Styles of Brownwood; two brothers, Billy Wayne Styles and Berton Dean Styles, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Rose Marie Dill of Ukiah, Calif., and Diane Pitt of Brownwood; one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be at the funeral home from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today.

J.B. 'Jimmy' Dankworth
BALLINGER - J.B. "Jimmy" Dankworth, 74, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Private graveside services will be held. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, directed by Rains-Seale Funeral Home. Mr. Dankworth graduated from Ballinger High School in 1943 and was an Army Air Corps veteran. He entered the family business, C.O.D. Grocery, and established Dankworth Packing Company in 1959. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, where he was on several committees. He was chairman of the board of Ballinger Memorial Hospital and was a key figure in establishing South Runnels Hospital District. He married Dorothy Miller in 1947 in Ballinger.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Kathy Henry of Corpus Christi; one son, Michael Dankworth of Ballinger; one sister, Eloise Loika of San Angelo; one brother, Milton Dankworth of Anchorage, Alaska; and two granddaughters.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

John 'Tex' Kehley
BROWNWOOD - John T. "Tex" Kehley, 63, of Mills County died Sunday at his home.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at his home with the Rev. Jerry Galloway officiating. The body will be cremated, directed by Heartland Funeral Home.
Mr. Kehley was born in Winchell and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1952. He attended Texas Technological College until 1955 and graduated from Texas Christian University in 1958 with a bachelor's degree in physics. He taught at the University of Florida and worked for Convair Division of General Dynamics in Fort Worth; Martin-Marietta Corp. in Orlando, Fla.; IBM Corp. at Cape Kennedy, Fla.; and for the Kennedy Space Center, where he worked on all the Apollo projects through No. 13. He was an amateur radio operator and was on the board of directors of the Marine Tech Society until 1968. He was a life member of ARRL, OCWA and the Confederate Air Force and a member of Zephyr United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Gilpin Kehley of Zephyr; three daughters, Charlesta Marie Kehley Lee and Alycia Helen Kehley Harnish, both of Austin, and Lanica Lane Kehley Johnson of St. Cloud, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Susan Ann Parker; and one grandson.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Marvin Battles
Marvin Battles, 68, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. A.M. Mackey officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Curtis-Starks Funeral Home, 542 E.N. 7th.
Mr. Battles was born and attended school in Calvert. He was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Orell Battles of Abilene; two brothers, J.D. Battles of Oxnard, Calif., and Willie C. Battles of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Tara Lee Norman of Abilene, Rosie Lee Stevenson of Abilene and Addie Nowlin of Houston; and a host of other relatives.
The family will be at the funeral home from 5-7:30 p.m. today and at 1441 Clinton.

Carol Lampert
Carol J. Lampert, 51, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Graveside services were Monday in City Cemetery with the Rev. Elbert G. Peake officiating, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
Ms. Lampert was born and grew up in Abilene and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Melinda Willis of Abilene; and three grandsons.

Leslie Brianne Gentzel
GAINESVILLE - Leslie Brianne Gentzel, infant, died Friday at a Loma Linda, Calif., hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with Drs. Jack Ridlehover and Bennie Slack officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, directed by George J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Leslie was born in Dallas.
Survivors include her parents, Brent and Julie Gentzel of Gainesville; one brother, Stephen Gentzel of Gainesville; grandparents Ann and Don Scargall of Abilene and Lynette and Bill Gentzel of Perryton; and great-grandparents Aline Morrison of Pampa and Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Gentzel of Borger.

Harvey Lee Harendt
HAMLIN - Harvey Lee Harendt, 67, died Sunday at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hamlin Church of Christ with Jerry Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Clear Fork Cemetery in Lueders, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Harendt was born in Mexia and graduated from high school in Lueders. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He served in law enforcement and moved to Hamlin in 1989. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He married Iva Mae Reynolds in 1950 in Albany.
Survivors include his wife, of Hamlin; two daughters, LaVona Mae Brown of Hamlin and Doris Lanell Bishop of Corpus Christi; one sister, Doris Larance of Amarillo; and seven grandchildren.

Lloyd Duncan
BIG SPRING - Lloyd H. Duncan, 74, died Sunday at a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel with Rodney Tedford officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Park.
Mr. Duncan was born in Wagoner, Okla., and moved to Big Spring from Wink in 1962. He worked for Amoco Production Company, retiring after 41 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Birdwell Lane Church of Christ. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 1302, AF&AM, in Wink. He married Willie Jo Hamner in 1941 in Monahans; she preceded him in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosalie New of Snyder, Linda McCormick of Levelland and Peggy Jo Duncan of Hurst; one son, Bobby Duncan of Big Spring; one brother, Floyd Duncan of Snyder; one sister, Ethel Ramsey of Carlsbad, N.M.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
