Kenneth Fowler Sutton
BROWNWOOD -- Kenneth Fowler Sutton, 61, lifelong Brown County resident, died Thursday in a Bangs nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Greenleaf Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Swindler officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mr. Sutton was born in Brownwood, where he attended school, and worked for Texas Feathers Inc. He was a Pentecostal.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Crouch of Bangs; his father, Fowler Sutton of Brownwood; one brother, Bill Sutton of Early; and several nieces and nephews.

Eugene Parkinson
CISCO -- Eugene E. Parkinson, 89, of San Antonio and formerly of Cisco died Wednesday in San Antonio.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Philpott officiating. Burial will be in Romney Cemetery.
Mr. Parkinson was born in Sabanno and was the widower of Willie Lou Rich Parkinson.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanene Cleveland of San Antonio; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Robert Edward Hawkins
HASKELL -- Robert Edward Hawkins, 21, died Thursday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Willow Cemetery with Bruce Craig officiating, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Hawkins was born in Haskell and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Pamela Burns Becker of Richland Springs; three sisters, Shelly J. Hawkins Krueger of Burnet, Christina L. Jimenez of San Saba and Carolyn Becker of Richland Springs; one brother, John Becker of Richland Springs; his grandmother, Joyce Hawkins of Haskell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be sent to Brownwood State School's Sanctions Unit, Haskell County Sheriff's Department or a favorite charity.

Thelma Watson
CISCO -- Thelma Watson, 94, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Philpott officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson was born in Cisco and started working for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator in 1918. She married Eugene Rhey Watson in 1923 in Cisco and was a homemaker. She was a Nazarene.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Farnsworth of Cisco and Charlene Campbell of Cedar Hill; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Cecil Kiser
ROBY -- Cecil Kiser, 59, Precinct 1 foreman for Fisher County since 1982, died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Roby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Waggoner officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.
Mr. Kiser was born in Fisher County, where he lived most of his life, and worked for U.S. Gypsum from 1956-73. He then was employed by Republic Gypsum in Altus, Okla. until 1976. He married Penny Wilson in 1976 in Sylvester and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Kiser of Andrews and John Kiser of Tacoma, Wash.; one daughter, Kendra Kiser of Roby; two stepsons, Jay Jennings of Fort Worth and Greg Jennings of Cleveland; one stepdaughter, Jana Gustafson of New Orleans; three sisters, Kay Brown of Weatherford, Debbie Shipp of Rotan and Brenda Rivers of Oklahoma; four brothers, Bobby Kiser of Hamlin, Thomas Kiser and Ricky Kiser, both of Sylvester, and Ronnie Kiser of Goldthwaite; and eight grandchildren.

ALBANY -- Ellen F. Goodwin, 78, died Thursday at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Christian Church with the Rev. Doug Stenberg officiating. Burial will be in Albany Cemetery, directed by Morehart Mortuary.
Mrs. Goodwin was born in Taylor County and attended school in Hamby. She was a homemaker and was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Snyder. She returned to Albany in 1993 from Snyder. She was a member of First Christian Church and was the widow of Jay Breeden, whom she married in 1934 in Taylor County.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Breeden and Larry Breeden, both of Albany; one sister, Minnie Swint of Snyder; one brother, Emmit Deatherage of Clyde; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Sidney Jones
WESTBROOK -- Sidney M. Jones, 77, lifelong local resident, died Wednesday in Big Spring.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel in Colorado City with the Rev. Scott W. Willis officiating. Burial will be in Iatan Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born in Mitchell County and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for Cosden Oil and was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Westbrook Cafe's Round Table Group and First Methodist Church and was the widower of June Shelton Jones, whom he married in 1940 in Colorado City.
Survivors include one sister, Paula Marie St. John of Midway.

Artie Camp Smith
ANSON -- Artie Camp Smith, 94, died Friday in a Hamlin hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Mount Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Sedberry officiating, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Parker County and grew up in Winnsboro. She moved to Fisher County in 1921 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sylvester Baptist Church and was the widow of Alton Curry Smith, whom she married in 1924 in Fisher County.
Survivors include one son, Don Smith of Sylvester; two daughters, Wanda Weir of Hamlin and Tommie Combest of Sylvester; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Sherry Lynn Johnson
Sherry Lynn Johnson, 32, of Tye, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel with the Rev. Jack Stevens officiating, directed by Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Dover, Del., and lived in the Abilene area for many years. She graduated from Abilene High School and attended American Commercial College. She married James E. Johnson in 1982 in Abilene and worked as a truck driver for Inman Trucking. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, of Tye; one son, James Edward "J.J." Johnson III of Tye; one daughter, Carrie Elizabeth Johnson of Tye; her parents, Willard and Romona Sanders of Abilene; two brothers, Lewis Sanders and Allan Sanders, both of Abilene; one sister, Willa Harrell of Abilene; and her grandmother, Fannie Brooks of Abilene.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today in the funeral home.
