Robin Michelle Kost Campbell
GATE, Okla. -- Robin Michelle Kost Campbell, 38, of Abilene and formerly of Gate, died Saturday at her home at Dyess Air Force Base.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Fox officiating. Burial will be in Gate Cemetery, directed by Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne, Okla.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Liberal, Kan., and graduated from Laverne High School in Laverne, Okla. in 1978. She married her husband in 1982 in Enid, Okla. She moved to Dyess AFB in 1997 from an Air Force base in Tacoma, Wash.
Survivors include her husband, Technical Sgt. James W. Campbell of Abilene; one daughter, Andrea Campbell of Abilene; one son, Brad Campbell of Abilene; her father, George Leon Kost of Liberal, Kan.; one brother, Kary Don Kost of Stafford, Ariz.; one sister, Susan Spurgeon of Gate; and her grandmother, Esther Zirkle of Gate.

Geneva Christine Crossland Beaty
GOULDBUSK -- Geneva Christine Crossland Beaty, 82, of Abilene and formerly of Gouldbusk, died Wednesday in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gouldbusk Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating, directed by Stevens Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mrs. Beaty was born in Coleman County and grew up in the Gouldbusk area. She moved to Abilene in 1969 and worked as a nurse's aide. She was a member of Gouldbusk Baptist Church and was the widow of Jack Crossland, whom she married in 1932 in Coleman County; and W.C. Beaty, whom she married in 1979.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue Whitley of Abilene; two stepsons, Lanny Beaty of Chester, Va., and Mike Beaty of Plano; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Larry McAlister
STAMFORD -- Larry McAlister, 56, lifelong local resident, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Wingrove officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Kinney Funeral Home.
Mr. McAlister was born in Stamford and worked as a pipeline operator for Lone Star Gas until 1995. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Newman McAlister of Stamford; one brother, Charles G. Marshall of Irving; one sister, Debbie L. McAlister of Abilene; two nieces; and three great-nieces.

Jimmy Dale Robbins
BALLINGER -- Jimmy Dale Robbins, 60, died Wednesday in a Winters nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Riley Fugitt officiating, directed by Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Robbins was born in Millersview and worked at Easter Machine Shop in Abilene for 35 years until moving to Ballinger. He married Virginia Mayfield in 1973 in Abilene. He was a machinist for Aeromotor Windmill Corp. in San Angelo for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, of Ballinger; two sons, David Lynn Robbins and Terry Glen Robbins, both of Abilene; two daughters, Tonya Gay Robbins of Euless and Regina Kay Gonzales of Baird; four stepchildren, Ricky Daniels of Cross Plains, Clay Daniels of Abilene, and Debbie Moore and Katie Caraway, both of Haskell; his mother, Zell R. Canada Robbins of Ballinger; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Lenner Hall
STAMFORD -- Lenner Hall, 93, died Wednesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Orient Street Church of Christ with Chad Massie officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Kinney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hall was born in Kaufman and moved to Stamford in 1932. She was a member of Orient Street Church of Christ and was the widow of H.C. Hall, whom she married in 1919 in Kaufman.
Survivors include four sons, Nathan Hall of Irving, Bill Hall of Stamford, James Hall of Lake Stamford and Jerry Hall of Cameron; two daughters, Evelyn Hansen of Stamford and Linda Voyles of Plano; 21 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Sallie Jane Huffman
BRECKENRIDGE -- Sallie Jane Huffman, 90, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Breckenridge First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Harper officiating. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery, directed by Morehart Mortuary.
Mrs. Huffman was born in Melrose, N.M., and graduated from De Leon High School in 1926. She attended business school and worked at the county judge's office in Eastland. She moved to Breckenridge in 1929 and was employed by Clover Farm Grocery Store. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church, and was the widow of Adra Huffman, whom she married in 1929 in Eastland.
Survivors include two sons, R.E. "Bobby" Huffman of Sudbury, Mass., and M.E. "Eddie" Huffman of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Eloise Thompson of Tyler, Jane Lee of Arlington and Betty Fields of Breckenridge; three brothers, Frank Hatten of Waco, John Hatten of Odessa and Ray Hatten of Cisco; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels at the Stephens County Senior Citizens Center and left at the funeral home.
James Curtis 'J.C.' White
COLEMAN -- James Curtis "J.C." White, 71, lifelong Coleman County resident, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Northway officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Brownwood.
Mr. White was born in Burkett, where he attended school, and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a superintendent and truck driver for Martin Brick Co. for 45 years. He was a member of the Sheriff's Association and Bible Baptist Church, and was the widower of Helen Marie Dean White, whom he married in 1948 in Brownwood.
Survivors include two daughters, Rita Preas and Ritha Mae Keeney, both of Coleman; three sons, James Beach White of Temple, Rickey Lynn White of Coahoma and Larry White of Colorado City; five brothers, Junior White, Roger White and Carl White, all of Coleman, Jerry D. White of Houma, La., and Otha White of Lafayette, La.; one sister, Wanda Steffey of Coleman; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Opal Francis Pearce Blackstock Clepper
BIG SPRING -- Opal Francis Pearce Blackstock Clepper, 75, formerly of Lamesa, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lamesa Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Dorman Kanard officiating, directed by Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home of Abilene.
Mrs. Clepper was born in Anson and moved to Big Spring in 1971 from Lamesa. She worked as a licensed vocational nurse at Malone-Hogan Hospital. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Clarence Blackstock, whom she married in 1941 in Lamesa; and Herman Clepper, whom she married in 1963 in Lamesa.
Survivors include one son, Rusty Blackstock of Potosi; one brother, Don Pearce of Lamesa; one sister, Ida Jewel Hantass of Stockton, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Connard Neil Ellis
ODESSA -- Connard Neil Ellis, 73, brother of two Big Country residents, died Wednesday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ellis was born in Eastland and served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He moved to Odessa in 1951 and retired from El Paso Products. He was the widower of Dorothy Nell Hazard Ellis, whom he married in 1948 in Eastland. He married Dorothy Dobbs Byrd in 1996 and was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Odessa; two sons, Michael Neil Ellis and Terry William Ellis, both of Odessa; one brother, Harold "Bud" Ellis of Snyder; two sisters, Joyce Taylor of Cisco and Leona Schobel of Wimberly; and five grandchildren.
