Ralph Rios
KNOX CITY -- Ralph Rios, 84, lifelong Knox County resident, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Smith Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin Flennigen officiating. Burial will be in Knox City Cemetery.
Mr. Rios was born in San Saba and married Josephine Puebla in 1934 in Benjamin. He worked at the O'Brien Co-Op Gin for several years. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include five sons, Jessie Rios, Danny Rios and Sammy Rios, all of Knox City, Ralph Rios Jr. of Avondale, Ariz., and Louis Rios of Fort Worth; three daughters, Toni Benavides and Stella Quintana, both of Knox City, and Angie Pauda of Lubbock; 25 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Clarice Robinson
BAIRD -- Clarice Robinson, 102, died Thursday in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Ross Cemetery with the Rev. Ross Ellis officiating, directed by Parker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robinson was born in Columbia, Tenn., and lived in Baird for many years. She was a homemaker. She returned to Baird about 20 years ago from Cross Plains. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Alex Robinson, whom she married in 1950 in Columbia, Tenn.
Survivors include one stepson, Paul Robinson of Hurst; two stepdaughters, Lucille Robinson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Eva Starnes of Tyler; 13 step grandchildren; and many step great grandchildren.

Sharon Hager
BROWNWOOD -- Sharon Hager, 60, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with Cecil Cox and Roy McNeely officiating.
Mrs. Hager was born in Lubbock and married D.A. "Dolly" Hager in 1956 in Brownwood. She was a homemaker and moved to Brownwood in 1964 from Colorado. She owned Attack Antiques in Early. She was a member of the chamber of commerce and was a Pentecostal.
Survivors include her husband, of Brownwood; two sons, Doug Hager of Austin and Tim Hager of Brownwood; one daughter, Cindy Rinehart of Stephenville; her mother, Louise Throckmorton of Brownwood; two brothers, Sonny Throckmorton of Brownwood and Steve Throckmorton of Missouri; three sisters, Sue Thompson of Brownwood, Mavis Conduff of Carrollton and LaVonne Humble of Colorado; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sidney Elbert Weathermon
PUTNAM -- Sidney Elbert Weathermon, 91, died Thursday in an Eastland hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco with the Rev. Rickey Carstensen officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. in Blanco Cemetery.
Mr. Weathermon was born in Rising Star and worked as a welder and mechanic for the U.S. government's Corps of Engineers. He married Ruby Alice McLendon in 1942 in Texarkana and owned the Weathermon Rock Shop in Putnam. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers 382 in Little Rock, Ark., and Baird First Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Putnam; two sons, Sidney Earl Weathermon of Osprey, Fla., and Don Elbert Weathermon of San Antonio; one daughter, Betty Jean Thomason of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one sister, Nadine White of McAllen; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

William Dell 'Bill' O'Neal
BROWNWOOD -- William Dell "Bill" O'Neal, 87, died Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. O'Neal was born in Wellington and married Arbutus Martin in 1939 in Pine Bluff, Ark. He served with the U.S. Navy and was a retired building contractor. He moved to Brownwood 20 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, of Brownwood; three daughters, Nancy O'Neal Chamberlin of Henrietta, Teresa O'Neal Whittington of Zephyr and Peggy O'Neal of San Angelo; one sister, Madoline Putman of Castle Rock, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry Gray
Terry Gray, 38, died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in North's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 4002 Buffalo Gap Road, with the Rev. David McQueen officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Gray was born in Abilene and graduated from Hawley High School in 1980. She worked as a waitress for several years. She was a bus driver for the Abilene school district for the past six years and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Howard of Abilene; one son, Nathan Pittman of Abilene; one daughter, Danielle Murphy of Merkel; one stepson, Jason Howard of Abilene; one stepdaughter, Ashley Howard of Abilene; her mother, Ruby Cory of Abilene; one brother, Larry McCombs of Lubbock; three sisters, Linda Gray of Dallas, Kathy Hazel of Victoria and Chrystal Cory of Clyde.

Letha Lee Yancey
EASTLAND -- Letha Lee Yancey, 71, of Graham and formerly of Eastland, died Thursday at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bakker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Rodgers and Mickey Austin officiating. Burial will be in Eastland Cemetery.
Mrs. Yancey was born in De Leon and grew up in Lueders and Eastland. She was a homemaker and moved to Graham in 1964 from Eastland. She was a member of the Church of God and was the widow of John D. Yancey, whom she married in 1944 in Eastland.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Austin of Estes Park, Colo., and Cathy Deanna Yancey of Graham; two sons, John Yancey of Graford and Jim Yancey of Forsan; two sisters, Joy Grace of Fort Worth and Doris Smith of Abilene; one brother, Jimmy Ray Jumper; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lucille Sherer Wilson
MADISONVILLE -- Lucille Sherer Wilson, 98, formerly of Kent County, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Jayton First Baptist Church with Olen Wilson and the Rev. David Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery, directed by Madisonville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Desdemona and was a homemaker. She moved to Madisonville in 1971 from Girard. She was a Baptist and was the widow of Tom Wilson.
Survivors include three daughters, Erma Spradling of Madisonville, Bertie Boland of Huntsville and Emma France of Ralls; one brother, S.E. Sherer of Madisonville; one sister, Ruth Spradling of Girard; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Sunday in the church.

Donald 'Don' Fred Edwards
DUBLIN -- Donald "Don" Fred Edwards, 64, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Cottonwood Baptist Church in Erath County with the Rev. Mike Fritcher officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, directed by Harrell Funeral Home.
Mr. Edwards was born in San Angelo and served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Ruby Alice Overstreet in 1956 in Menard County. He coached athletics for more than 23 years in Winters, Stamford, Iraan, Andrews, Graham, Comanche, and Artesia, N.M. He also was a principal in Comanche for three years and natatorium director and physical education curriculum director in Rosenburg for 10 years. He retired in 1997 and moved to Dublin, where he raised cattle and horses. He was a deacon at Comanche First Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenburg. He was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Dublin; two sons, Greg Edwards of Clyde and Joe John Edwards of Owasso, Okla.; five sisters, Edith Clement of New Braunfels, Marguerite Anthony and Betty Hollowell, both of Fort Worth, Joella Sealy of Aledo and Gloria Ellis of Overbrook, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
