Patsy Ross Eakin
Patsy Ross Eakin, beloved mother, sister, friend, and victorious woman in Christ, 78, of Brownfield, passed away Monday, August 30, 2010, at her home in Brownfield.
Memorial services will be at 3:30pm Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Brownfield Church of Christ, with Bob Reynolds and Bo Shero officiating.
Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Viewing will be from 2-6 and visitation from 6-8pm on Tuesday, August 31.
Patsy was born September 28, 1931 in Brownfield, to Ross and Lessie Black.
She graduated from Brownfield High School in 1949.
Patsy married J.E. Eakin, Jr. on August 28, 1950, in Brownfield.
J.E. preceded her in death on August 16, 2007.
She is also preceded in death by a brother, Pat Black in 1983.
She was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ and actively involved in World Bible School.
Patsy is survived by two daughters, Missy Robertson and husband, Ricky of Brownfield, and Marci Ayers and husband, Gary of Ft. Worth; a son, Ron Eakin and wife, Randi of Flower Mound; a brother, Mike Black and wife, Elaine of Agua Dulce; a sister, Peggy Hyman of Morton; an adopted sister, Deaun Cloe of Brownfield; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Maria Garcia
Maria Garcia, 63, of Brownfield, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10:00am, Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. Anthony s Catholic Church, with Father Gerald Leatham officiating.
Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Maria was born May 20, 1947 in Eagle Pass, TX, to Antonio and Enidina Hernandez.
She married Nicolas Garcia, Sr. on August 22, 1966 in Hereford.
They lived in Michigan, for 15 years prior to moving to Brownfield, in 1975.
He preceded her in death on May 28, 1987.
She is also preceded in death by 4 sisters and a brother, Rosa Ledesma, Rudolfo Hernandez, Manuela Rubio, Margarita Infante and Armadina Cruz.
Maria was a member of St. Anthony s Catholic Church, Guadalupana s and a CYO Sponsor.
Maria is survived by her companion of 16 years, Sylvester Rodriguez of Brownfield; a daughter, Marcie Garcia of Brownfield; 2 sons, Eloy Garcia and wife, Irma of McKinney, and Nicolas Garcia, Jr. and wife, Jessica of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dominga Hernandez of Andrews, and Lola Sanchez of Meadow.
Eva Nell Adkins
Eva Nell Adkins, 75, of Brownfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Denver City.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.
The family will have a visitation Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Eva was born on April 6, 1935 to Spencer and Mary Jones in Wellman, where she attended schools as a child.
She married James Adkins on June 1, 1967 in Brownfield.
He preceded her in death on July 9, 1978.
She then married David Adkins on December 22, 1979 in Brownfield.
He preceded her in death on August 30, 2002.
She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
Eva worked for GTE Telephone Company for many years before retiring.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Mary Wilmeth and her husband, Ty of Plains; 2 step-daughters, Sherry Shaw and her husband, Larry of Albuquerque, and Janice McKinley and her husband, David of Lubbock; 2 step-sons, David Adkins, Jr. and Troy Adkins and his wife, Shari all of Lubbock; her brother, Billy Ray Jones and his wife, Wanda of Brownfield; 2 sisters, Mary Bell Luker of Brownfield, and Lois Brown of Lubbock; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Braquet and her husband, Ryan of Lubbock; 7 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Henry Carr Wilkerson, 94, were held Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery, with Elder Ronnie Hedges of Brownfield Primitive Baptist Church officiating.
Wilkerson died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006.
MARIA MOLINA
Maria Molina, 58, passed away on Aug. 13, 2006 at her residence in Brownfield.
Services for Molina will be at 10 am Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at Templo Sinai, Asambleas De Dios in Brownfield.
Interment will be in the Brownfield Cemetery, with Rev. Raul Gutierrez officiating.
TOMMY SCOTT DOSS
Services for Thomas Tommy Scott Doss, 90, of Brownfield, were held Saturday, Aug. 5, in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Ken Horn officiating.
Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Doss died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006 in Lubbock.
FANNIE IMOGENE NALL
Fannie Imogene Nall, formerly of Brownfield, died on Friday, Aug. 4, 2006 in Brownfield.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Loving Cemetery in Young County.
Memorial Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 9 in the First United Methodist Church in Brownfield.
THOMAS WAYNE GRESHAM
Services for Thomas Wayne Gresham, 70, of Albuquerque, N.M., were held Saturday, July 29, in the French Mortuary University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Rick Fonaho officiating.
Mr. Gresham, who was a former Brownfield resident, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in Albuquerque.

She died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006 in Lubbock.
SHAUN WEBB
Services for Shaun Howard Webb, 21, of Seagraves, were held Tuesday, June 13, in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Billy Sharp officiating, assisted by Rev. Dustin McEwen.
Burial was in Gaines County Cemetery.
Webb died Friday, June 9, 2006 in Lubbock.

Telford died Sunday, April 9, 2006.

Graveside services for Robbie R. Hulse, 87, of Lubbock, were held Wednesday, Feb. 1, in Brownfield Cemetery, with Rev. Randy Land officiating.
The services were under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hulse died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 in Lubbock.
