Ken Anderson
Charles Kenneth Anderson, formerly of Brownfield, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 in Big Spring.
Memorial services will be at 11am, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Ken was born July 6, 1926 in Tulsa, OK. to Samson and Mary Anderson.
He graduated from Haskell High School.
He attended Texas Tech University.
He was a WWII Army Veteran.
He moved to Terry County, in 1946.
Ken married Pat Steen in February 26, 1956 in Brownfield.
She preceded him in death on March 20, 1998.
He owned and operated Anderson Construction Company for 35 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brownfield.
Ken is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephenie Anderson; 3 brothers: Bill, Jim and his twin, Keith and a sister Marion Urban.
Ken is survived by a son, Charles Anderson and wife, Beverly of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Mary Ann Vinson and husband, Mike of Pampa, and Leslie Brunson and husband, Steve of College Station; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; 3 sisters, Gail Anderwald and husband, Alton of Inks Lake, June Mullins and husband, Bill of Denver, CO., and Pauline McMillan of Houston.
Leroy Little
Leroy Little, 75, passed away July 29, 2010 at Shannon Medical Center after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will be at 2PM, Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Chapel, with Nancy York, Chaplain of Hospice of San Angelo, officiating.
Leroy was born August 16, 1934 to Aaron and Lucille Little in Ft. Towson, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.
He is survived by his wife Era of San Angelo, one son, Randy, and one daughter, Tandi of San Angelo; three grandsons, Kevin and fianc e Brittany, Jason, and Justin of San Angelo; two granddaughters, Kemberlea of San Angelo, and Kristy and husband Miles Wales of Newark Valley, NY; three great grandchildren, Amber, Autumn, and James of Newark Valley, NY; 3 brothers, Olen Little, Charles Little, Ronny Little of Brownfield; and one sister, Addie Mae Clark of Granite Falls, WA.
Leroy retired from the City of Brownfield Electric Department after 33 years of service.
He also retired from the Brownfield Volunteer Fire Department after 25 years of service.
They moved to San Angelo, in 1985 and he worked for Guardsmark, Inc. for 12 years before retiring again.

Robert Louis Becker
Robert Becker 81, of Brownfield, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at First Christian Church in Brownfield, with Rev. Ken Reeder officiating and Pastor John Blyth assisting.
Interment will follow in Southland Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
The family will have a visitation at First Christian Church prior to the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Robert was born December 22, 1928 in Southland, to William and Bessie Hatcher Becker.
He attended schools in Southland, graduating in 1945.
He attended Texas Lutheran and Texas Tech Universities, earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree and a Master's Degree in Agricultural Education.
He married Sally Sue Buchanan on September 5, 1951 in Slaton.
Together, they moved to Flower Grove, where Mr. Becker began teaching Vocational Agriculture.
They then moved to Loop, for 3 years, before moving to Brownfield, in 1957, where he taught school for 33 years.
Robert served several years on the Board of Directors of the Texas Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association, 20 years as secretary of the Terry County Soil and Water Conservation District and was a member of the Terry County Fair Board.
Mr. Becker was also a member of the Brownfield Evening Lion's Club and was a past District Governor of District 2T2.
He was an elder at First Christian Church, where he served on the church board as chairman, a Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir.
After retiring from a 37 year teaching career in 1989, Robert became an insurance agent for both Germania and National Farm Life Insurance Companies.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sally Becker of Brownfield; 2 sons, Danny Becker and his wife, Louisa of Flower Mound and Joe Don Becker and his wife, Diane of Hurst; 4 grandchildren, Hannah and Turner Becker of Flower Mound, and Jared and Jacob Becker of Hurst; a sister, Josephine Klattenhoff of Riudoso, NM; 2 brothers, William Becker of Southland, and Gilbert Becker of Blue Springs, MO, and a son-in-law, Tommy Baker of Lubbock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Doris Simmons; a brother, David Becker, and his daughter, Terry Lea Baker.
TRAVIS L. MINYARD
Services for Travis L. Minyard, 78, of Bennington, Okla., were held Friday, Oct. 1st, in the Bennington First Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Wilkins and Rev. Neil O'Donnell officiating.
Burial was in Jackson Cemetery in Bennington, Okla., under the direction of Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
Mr. Minyard died Tuesday, Sept. 28th, 2004 in Oakridge Manor Nursing Home.
BERTHA T. RIOJAS
Services for Bertha T. Riojas, 57, of Othello, Wash., formerly of Brownfield, were held Thursday, Sept. 30th, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial was in Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens in Othello, Wash..
Ms. Riojas died Friday, Sept. 24th, 2004.
ANDREW CHARLES TILLMON
Services for Andrew Charles Tillmon, 60, of Levelland, were held Sunday, Sept. 26th, 2004 in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Willie Lee Majors officiating.
Burial was in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Head and Duarte Funeral Home.
BILLY LEE WADE
Services for Billy Lee Wade, 75, of Dublin, were held Saturday, Oct. 2nd, in the First Baptist Church, with Dean Bradley officiating.
Burial was in Henson Cemetery, under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home.
Mr. Wade died Wednesday, Sept. 29th, 2004, in Harris Methodist Hospital, in Stephenville.
MARY FAYE ALEXANDER
Memorial services for Mary Faye "Dirlye" Alexander, 76, of Brownfield, were held Saturday, July 19, 2003 in the First Baptist Church Chapel, with Rev. Clarence Branch officiating.
Graveside services were also held Saturday, in Plains Cemetery in Plains, under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander died Wednesday, July 16th, 2003 in Brownfield.
Cindi Jones Crass
1956-2008
Cindi (Cynthia) Jones Crass, 52, passed away May 13, 2008 after a lengthy illness.
Graveside services were held May 19 in Lamesa, followed by a memorial service at Midland Bible Church.
Jerry R. Jones
1944-2008
Jerry Ray Jones, 64, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in Dallas.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 16 at the First Christian Church in Brownfield, with Rev. Ryan Pfeiffer officiating.
Janie Lynn Moss
1928-2008
Memorial services for Janie Lynn Moss, 79, of Brownfield, were held May 6, 2008 at Brownfield First Baptist Chapel, with Dr. Harlan Willis officiating.
ELISA PIEDRA GONZALES
Elisa Piedra Gonzales, 37, of Brownfield, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 in Lubbock.
Memorial services were held Monday, March 10, at Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors Chapel in Brownfield.
