of Gibbs Memorial Library over a period of 5 
years. The time spent on this volume was 
volunteer time. With so many volunteers working 
on this 454 page book, there may be mistakes 
that we missed in our year long editing of this 
volume. We regret any mistakes and misspellings

Obituaries are from the Mexia Daily News 
from 1950-1999. An obituaries index from 2000 to 
the present is available as well. No plans have 
been made to date for the years prior to 1950.
