(Taylor) Margarette D. Galnor, 76 of Taylor, died Friday in a Temple
hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Providence Funeral
Home in Taylor
with burial in the Taylor City Cemetery. Visitation will be held today
from 6-8 p.m.
at the funeral home. Ms. Galnor was born in Little Elm, Texas and grew
up in Hubbard.
She and her husband lived in Waco before moving to the Taylor area.
She worked as a
bookkeeper for a local beverage company, Taylor ISD and also worked
with the South Bend
ISD of Houston when her husband's work moved them there. They returned
to Taylor in
December of 1983 after her retirement. Survivors include:

1 son: David Galnor and wife Sandra of Pflugerville.
1 brother: Douglas Brazell and wife charlene of Oklahoma.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Pullins was a cook for the SPJST nursing home in Taylor for three years
and was a

John Pernice
(Cameron) John A. Pernice, 83 of Cameron, died Monday at his home.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mr.
Pernice was born in 1919 in Sicily, Italy. He served in the Army Tank
and Infantry during WWII. He worked as a route
salesman for Coca-Cola for more than 27 years. Mr. Pernice was a member
of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2010 of
Cameron where he served as Bingo Chairman for over 20 years; he was
a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.

(Cameron) Pat Hughes, 74 of Rockdale, died last Saturday in a Temple
hospital. Graveside services will be held today at the Mountainview Cemetery
Mausoleum in Oakland, California. A local memorial service will be held

Mr. Hughes, a beauty/barber supply salesman, was born in Menard Texas
and was a navy veteran of the Korean conflict. Survivors include:

(Cameron) Henriem McIntosh, 87 of Cameron, died Sunday in a Cameron
hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell
Funeral Home in Cameron with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will
be held today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. McIntosh was born
in Cameron and received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University
of Texas after spending two years at Southwestern University in Georgetown.
She received her master's in English from Texas A&M. Mrs. McIntosh
taught school at Southwestern University and in the Cameron and Milano
school districts. She also assisted her husband in the family clothing
store. She was preceded in death by a son, William McIntosh. She is survived

born in Austin and was owner and operator of a truck rental service for

(Houston) Roger Lee Shuemate, 66, of Houston died Thursday after a
short illness in a Houston Methodist Hospital. A service of praise and
thanksgiving will be held at First Methodist Church in Conroe on Saturday,
July 12th at 5 p.m.
Mr. Shuemate was a Yoe High Graduate, and had been a Methodist Minster
for more than 40 years. Survivors include:

house parent for the Waco State Home, as well as the Methodist State Home.
Ms. Pack was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was actively
involved at Bea's Kitchen. She was also a member of First Baptist
