Clyde Smith, 80 of Washington died at 2:55 a.m., Friday at Grimes St. Joseph Health Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2001 at Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C. Interment will be in Friedens Church Cemetery under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3rd, from 11 a.m. -9 p.m., Sunday, March 4th from 8 a.m. - noon at Nobles Funeral Chapel and Sunday from 12:30 pm. till service time at the church.
Survived by daughters and sons-in-law; Kitty & Clyde Miller of Washington, Peggy & Al Miller of Montgomery, sister; Dorothy O’ Brier of Waco, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives.
Mabel Bosse
Mabel Bosse, 80, of Washington, died Thursday in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Bosse of Washington; sons and daughter-in-law, Delphine Randermann and Nelson and Diana Randermann, all of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Ann and Arnold Dreyer Jr. of Brenham; 7 grandchildren and their spouses, Alan and Lisa Dreyer, Amy and Michael Flynn, Ann and Joe Garnett, Debra and Devin Giammalva, Ranell and Gary Goessler, Randy and Brandye Randermann and Amber and Jon Westerfeld; 15 great-grandchildren, Amanda and Andrea Dreyer, Spencer and Oliver Flynn, Dickson, Pearson, Sully and Taylor Garnett. The funeral service for Mabel Bosse will be Saturday at 2:00 pm. in St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill with Pastor Jon Siemsglusz officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Church of Washington UCC Cemetery.

Mary Baron Mondrofsky, 93 of Brenham and the widow of Herman O. Mondrofsky died Monday, February 26, 2001 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan.
Mary Mondrofsky is survived by her daughter & son-in-law; Madeline & Leroy Klump of Navasota, son & daughter-in-law: J. C. & Gladys Mondrofsky of Brenham; grandchildren: Lisa Wellmann, Lori & Darrell Winkelmann, La Donna & Rodney Knode, Rebecca & Sammy Watson, Dr. D. Craig & Kristie Klump and Bonnie & Gary Hartstack; great-grandchildren: Jessica, Jillian & Wyatt Wellmann, Kristen & Jay Winkelmann, Jon-Erik Coonse, Jacob Knode, Con, Brooke & Enin Hartstack and Ashley, Michaela & Austin KIump; sisters: Annie Wasserman of Wesley, Angelina Bednar of Latium, Hermenia "Billie" Garidel of St. Louis, Missouri and also numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass for Mary Mondrofsky will be held on Thursday, March 1,2001 at 10:00 am. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Brenham with Father David Williams. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services for Milton Friedrich, 84 of Lincoln, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Dale Bohm officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
Mr. Friedrich passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his home.
Milton Charles Friedrich was born on December 21, 1926 in Lincoln, Texas to Heinrich & Klara Anna (Noack) Friedrich. He was confirmed on April 6, 1941 and served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Bernice Bittner on December 18, 1949 at Christ Lutheran Church in Loebau, Texas. Milton was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and learning about world history.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Harold Friedrich and Eugene Friedrich; great grandson, Aiden Friedrich and two brothers, Alonzo Friedrich and Elmer Friedrich.
Milton is survived by his son, Myron Friedrich of Houston; three daughters, Nancy & Chris Delcastillo of Spring, Diana & Thomas Lunsford of Lexington and Lisa & Dale Belmont of Lincoln; grandchildren, Shannon Whittington & Cynthia of Tomball, Candice Godby & Ryan of The Woodlands, Keith Friedrich & Tara of San Antonio, Chance Friedrich & Candice of The Woodlands, Landon Friedrich & Kimmie of Houston, Penny Friedrich & Kevin of Houston, Angela Giesler & Steve of Minnesota, Abigail Belmont of Lincoln, Eric Belmont of Lincoln and Aaron Belmont of Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Sebastian, Aiden & Jordan Whittington, Jacob Godby, Kendall, Ryan & Arianne Friedrich, Luke & Tyler Friedrich, Theodor Giesler and Gracelyn & Tyson Friedrich; sister-in-law, Ruby Friedrich of Houston, Gladys Fritsche of Loebau, Laura Hosea of Giddings; Brother-in-Law Monroe Bitterner of Giddings as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wanda "Pancake" Wynell Wagner

Funeral services for Wanda "Pancake" Wagner, 86 of Giddings and formerly of Houston, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Dr. Lawrence White and Rev. Robert Tiner officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Wagner passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange.
Wanda Wynell Frost Wagner was born on March 5, 1925 in Haskill, Texas to Marcus & Lula (Capers) Frost. She was baptized into the Christian faith on May 1, 1936 and renewed her baptismal vows through the right of Confirmation on January 1, 1948. Wanda served briefly in the U.S. Army and received the rank of Private before receiving her Honorable Discharge on November 9, 1943. Wanda was united in marriage to Louis Edwin Wagner on April 18, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Houston. Wanda was a longtime Real Estate Broker in the Houston area and worked with several real estate agencies and earned many industry awards. She also enjoyed tutoring children and helping them to learn to read. While in Houston, she was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Lydia's Guild and enjoyed attending bible study. After moving to Giddings, the Wagner's joined Immanuel Lutheran Church. Wanda enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress and made much of her own clothing. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, traveling and working in her yard and flowerbeds.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus & Lula Frost; her brother, Jack Frost and her sister, Eloise Price.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 64 years, Louis Wagner of Giddings; two sisters-in-law, Ramona Frost of Houston and Rose Gregson of McDade; her niece who she considered more like a daughter, Carol & Floyd Gilmore of Lexington; her special great niece, Ramona & Michael Castillo of Lexington; her special great nephew, Jack & Susan Gilmore of Lexington as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Cooper, Floyd Gilmore, Jack Gilmore, Charles Bell, Michael Castillo and Anthony Castillo.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour, the Samaritans Purse or Faith Life Christian Center in Lexington.
