Funeral services for Kenneth Beasley, 85 of Ledbetter, Texas, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Rev. Keith Aschenbeck officiating. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
Mr. Beasley passed away the morning of Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange, Texas.
Kenneth Glyn Beasley was born on June 8, 1926 in Gainesville, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy and was united in marriage to Betty Wylder on March 21, 1975 in Houston, Texas. Kenneth was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings. He enjoyed working in his yard and taking care of his garden.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Beasley of Ledbetter as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Erna Winkelman, 88, of Brenham, the widow of Walter Winkelman, died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham.
The funeral service for Erna Winkelman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, in Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church in Berlin with Pastor Theresa David officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Estela G. Arch, 76, of Burton, the widow of Leland Arch, died Sunday, September 29, 2002 in a San Antonio hospital.
The funeral service for Estela Arch will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham with Father Richard Tijerina officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Elmore Dawes Hanks, 76 of Burton passed away Friday July 28, 2002 at his home after a short battle with cancer.
Elmore Hanks survivors include his wife of 59 years Norma Jean Hanks; son: Rodney Hanks of Burton; daughter: Lennie Gano and husband Rich of Huntsville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters: Bertie Beavers of Shalimar, FL. and Mary Young and husband L.J. of Willis ; brother-in-law: Michael Redman of Lake Charles: and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Elmore D. Ranks will be held at 10:00 am Saturday August 3, 2002 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Bob Hoffmann of Bethany Christian Church of Burton will officiate.

Alma Peters, 92 of Brenham died Monday, June 3, 2002 in Brenham Rest Home.
Survivors include her son Glen E. Peters and wife Claire of Brenham; granddaughter Carol Hartley of Brenham, Glenda Peters-Do and husband Tu of Corpus Christi, Andrea Pena and husband Jimmy of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Step-granddaughters Debra deDonodo of Tacoma, Washington, Helene Sokol and husband Bill of South Windsor, Connecticut; she was blessed with numerous great-grandchildren.
