Rosalie Mary Eimann Kolb (Mrs. Weldon Garrett), 81, longtime La Marque resident died June 3, 2002 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in the Gay Hill Community of Washington County, Texas.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Drs. John and Anne Elaine Andersen of Dallas, Dr. Douglas W. and Cynthia Robinson of San Antonio, George and Kathryn Johnson of Houston; grandchildren Garrett and Melany Andersen; Nathan Andersen; Jennifer and Greg Estoll; Sarah and Anne Robinson, Emily and Evan Johnson; great-grandchildren Emma and Reed Andersen; Chloe and Elijah Estoll; sister Lillian Albers and brother Charles Eimann.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 5th.
Funeral services for Rosalie Eimann Kolb will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6th at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Lawrence Bade will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Neida Binford
Neida M. Binford, 89, long time resident of Brenham died Thursday, May 30, 2002 in Logansport, Indiana.
Neida Binfords family is her son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Deborah Binford of Logansport, Indiana; two granddaughters and husbands, Lisa and Randy Meeks of Houston, Daphne and Mike Shannon of Friendswood; 4 great-grandchildren; nephews and wives, Lou and Joyce Little, Oran and Myrtle Little, Max and Lanell Rabner; nieces, Alicia Cluff and husband Ron and Brenda Rabner.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, June 4, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday June 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Calvin Beckendorf officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church, or charity of your choice.

John Arning, Jr., age 76, of Bellville passed away on Friday, May 31, 2002.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at 2 p.m. from the Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham with Rev. Matthew Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Knoll cemetery in Bellville.
John Arning, Jr. is survived by his wife: Leona Arning of Bellville, Daughter: Linda Tarver of Bellville, Grandchildren: John Tarver, Lisa and Brad Barbisch. Great-grandchildren: Lucy and Linus Barbisch. Preceded in death by his parents, John & Frieda (Wieckee) Arning, Sr.
Mr. Arning was a graduate of Bellville High School and the University of Houston. Member of Industry fire department, Bleiblerville fire department, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, The Austin County E.M.S., International Association of Electrical Inspectors, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Mr. John Arning, Jr. was a W.W. II Veteran and a retired Master Electrician.

Funeral services for Roy "Buddy" Allen III, 60 of Giddings, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Keith Aschenbeck and Rev. Robert Tiner officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Buddy passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at his home in Giddings.
Roy "Buddy" Owen Allen III was born on April 14, 1952 in Giddings, Texas to Roy O. Allen Jr. and Juanita Charlynn (Holtkamp) Allen. He was baptized on April 27, 1952 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings by Rev. Max Studtmann and confirmed on April 3, 1966 also at Immanuel Lutheran Church by Rev. Emil Krugler. His confirmation verse was Matthew 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive". Buddy graduated from Giddings High School in 1970 and attended Blinn College in Brenham. He had been employed at Walmart in Giddings and retired after 25 years as a Store Support Manager. Following his retirement, he went to work for Brookshire Brothers in Giddings. Buddy always took an active role in his community. He had been a member of the City of Giddings Planning & Zoning Commission, the Lee County Fair Board, the Giddings Evening Lions Club and a former agent and director for the Giddings Sons of Hermann Lodge. He was lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he had served on the Board of Youth. He enjoyed taking pictures, cooking and taking care of his dog, Bo. Buddy loved the people of his community and those of his church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Gene Delemater and Dwain Booher.
Buddy is survived by his sister, Cynthia Booher of Bryan; nephew, Michael & Amanda Booher and their children, Shavon, Kyley and Wyatt all of Bryan; aunt, Catherine Amoroso of Giddings as well many extended family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Arldt, Sonny Mitchell, Michael Booher, Scott Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell and Tim Pitts. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Kessel, Vernon Simpson, Leslie Smith and Dave Gill.

Alma Breddin, 80, of Chappell Hill, died Friday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin R. Breddin, Sr. of Chappell Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Edwin Jr. and Anna Breddin of Chappell Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Robert Haverland of Paige; 5 grandsons, Robert and Michael Breddin and Jonathan, Justin and Jeremy Haverland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith Pfeiffer of Round Top, Marie and Frank Schramm of Shelby and Paul Spitzenberger of Giddings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Alma Breddin will be held at 2:00 pm. Sunday June 2nd in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg with Pastor Jennifer Bohls officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

George Myrick, 75, of Brenham, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Lorea Myrick of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Ray and Sherry Myrick of Abilene; daughters and sons-in-law, Tasa and Artie Braeutigam of Anchorage, Alaska and Correta and Jerry Daugherty of Buda; grandchildren, Charles W. Champ, Jr. of Boerne, Nicole Champ of Reno, Nevada, Jennifer R. Charlie Hahn, Jr.
Charlie Hahn, Jr., 68, of Brenham, recently residing at Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Giddings, died Sunday February 3, 2002 in Fayette Memorial Hospital in La Grange. He was the widower of Ruth Gaskamp Hahn.
Survivors include his son, Mark C. Hahn and wife Stacey of Brenham; grandchildren, Hannah and Shane Hahn and Janice and April Schulz, all of Brenham.
