Anna Rau, 84, of Brenham, died Thursday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
Survivors include her husband, Theodore Rau of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Kervin Finke of Brenham, Deanna and Charles Giese of Brenham and Carol and Weyrnan Leiber; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Otto and Ella Rau of Brenham, Cecelie Rau of Taylor, Minnie Moehrig of Yorktown, Geneva Herrmann of Brenham, Rosa Lee Herrmann of Hempstead and Elsie Herrmann of Brenham: 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Anna Rau will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2001 in St. John’s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill with Dr. Sue Beall officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2001 in Memorial Oaks Chapel.

John McNiel
John Henry (Johnny) McNiel, 87 of Brenham died Thursday, December 13, 2001 in College Station Medical Center.
For years Johnny and Mrs. McNiel owned a café here in Brenham.
Survivors include his wife: Mae Belle Sasser McNiel; son: Don McNiel and wife Sherry; daughters: Mary Jo Eickenhorst and husband Herbert and Tracey Cramer and husband Michael all of Brenham; grandchildren: Jason Eickenhorst and wife Marissa of Arlington, Virginia, Kyle McNiel and Korey and Jordan Parrish all of Brenham.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 14, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services for Johnny McNiel will be on Saturday, December 15, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in Brenham Memorial chapel. Rev. Brad Munroe will officiate.

Odell Kettler, 76, of Brenham, died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbert Kettler of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law, John Lane and Lisa Keller of Brenham, Mark and Julie Kettler of Brenham and Marcus "Biddy" and Linda Kettler of Brenham; grandchildren. Lindsay Katy Kettler, John Ross Kettler and Elizabeth Kettler; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnnie Mae and Harold "Pete" Lueckemeyer of Brenham and Ruby and Gus Seeker of Brenham: and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Leona Kettler of Navasota, Herbert Kettler of Brenham, Raymond and Pauline Kettler of Brenham, Laura Ashorn of Brenham, Erna and Harold Guetzlaff of Kerrville and Lorine Schroeder of Brenham.

Dolores Ann Howell, 69, of Brenham died Monday, December 10, 2001 in Trinity Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters: Donna Fricke and husband Trace of Brenham and Brenda Howell of Austin; grandchildren: Lindsey Kate Fricke, Jonathan Davis Fricke and Jordan Paul Fricke all of Brenham; sister: Judy Williams of Willis; mother-in-law: Kate Howell of Jasper and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Brenham Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services for Dolores Howell will be held on Friday, December 14, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Cecilia Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Theresa Wessinger-Ziegenbein
Theresa Virginia Kaminski Wessinger-Ziegenhein died Saturday, December 8, 2001 in Trinity Medical center.
Survivors include her husband: Alfred Ziegenbein, son: Frances Wessinger of Industry; daughters: Shirley Ann Skweres of Chappell Hill, Linda McManis of Austin and Elizabeth Wessinger of Brenham; six (6) grandchildren; six (6) great-grandchildren; sister: Carrie Jones and her husband Leon of Rockdale.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Bob Girgg officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Robert Schultz
Robert A. Schultz, 81, of New Ulm, TX. passed away Sunday morning, October 28, 2001 at the Bellville hospital with his family at his bedside.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Ruth Schultz; son, Jack Schultz; daughter, Kathy Lynn Easterling; (3) grandchildren, Janice K. Schultz; Robert and wife Kim Edwards; Randy Easterling; (3) great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn N. Marshall, Amanda K. Schultz. Karissa M. Edwards; (2) sisters, Elda Mae Reichle and Beaulah Feist; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive as well as a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2001 from St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Reverend Bill Mosley officiating. Interment will follow in the Frnka Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 12 Noon Tuesday, October 30, 2001, at the Zaskoda Chapel in Industry.

Leon Allan Schwartz, age 38, peacefully departed this earth Saturday October 28, 2001.
He leaves behind his parents Leon and Florence Schwartz of Sandy Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law; Mark Lee and Shannon Marie Schwartz of Sandy Hill and Neal Scott and Toni Linnae Schwartz of Sandy Hill; nieces Kelsey Linnae Schwartz and Addie Louise Schwartz of Sandy Hill, nephews Carter Scott Schwartz, Tanner Lee Schwartz and Clayton Allan Schwartz of Sandy Hill; Uncles Waldo Krueger and Lonnie Krueger of Brenham; Uncle and Aunt, Nolan and Marcy Schwartz of Conroe; Uncle and Aunt John and Jeaninne Schwartz of Seguin, Uncle and Aunt Melvin and Shirley Ashorn of Sandy Hill; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
