Mr. Louis "Pete" Mosley Jr.
Sunrise: January 6, 1933
Sunset: January 3, 2010
Mr. Louis Mosley Jr. was born to Mr. Louis and Georgia Mosley, Sr. on January 6, 1933 in Pattison, Texas.
Preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, one brother, and two sisters.
Survived by his loving wife Gladys Mosley, 12 children, two brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial Services were held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Prairie View AME Church 5601 Fannin Street, San Felipe, Texas at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Christopher Mosley officiating.
Final Arrangement Entrusted to: Miller-Josey Mortuary, LLC., 428 West Meyer Street, Bellville, Texas 77418.

Leroy Moehlmann
On the evening of March 17, 2015, Leroy Moehlmann passed away as a result of an accident at home. He was 68 years old. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 19 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 20 at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Groves officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Leroy was employed as a mechanic and shop foreman at Washington County Tractor Company for 45 years. He often diagnosed issues over the phone from the customer’s description alone. Leroy was a beloved husband of 45 years to Shirley Moehlmann; father of Robbie and wife Maura Moehlmann, Rachelle and husband Kris Baker; grandfather of Molly and Henry Moehlmann, Clara and Audrey Baker. Leroy is also survived by his brothers Clarence and his wife Shirley Moehlmann and Jones and his wife Lois Moehlmann, brothers-in-law Walter and his wife Kim Schulz, Larry and his wife Jody Schulz, sister-in-law Kathy and her husband Clifford Miller, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robbie Moehlmann, Kris Baker, Walter Schulz, Larry Schulz, Alan Hutson, Dennis Moehlmann, Marvin Koehne and Mark Jensen. Memorials are requested to: Christ Lutheran Church 1104 Carlee Drive, Brenham, Texas. Services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St., Brenham. 979.836.3611

Douglas William "Chubby" Roehling
Douglas William “Chubby” Roehling, 73, of Bellville, died March 16, 2015 in College Station. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pastor Jill Vivroux will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Survivors include his brother, Larry Wayne Roehling of Brenham; special friend Vernice Luedke of Bellville; nephew Michael and Susan Roehling of Burton; great-nieces and great-nephews Levi, Calley, and Braden Roehling; his extended family, including Gary and Roxanne Luedke, Charles and Bobby Hargrave, all of Bellville, and Donna and Roger Newman of Virginia, as well as numerous friends and other relatives. Funeral arrangements for Douglas William “Chubby” Roehling are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.

William Daniel Flasowski
William Daniel Flasowski, 81, of Brenham, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2015. William is survived by his wife of 52 years, Paula Flasowski, sons Alan Flasowski of Brenham, Kenan Flasowski and wife Jeri of College Station, daughter Susan Segura and husband Johnnie of Schulenburg, and three grandchildren Dylan Flasowski, Logan Flasowki and Klare Segura. William is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel, located at 1306 West Main St., Brenham, TX. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church, located at 800 Church St., Brenham, TX, and burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements for William Daniel Flasowski are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.

Kathleen Betty Reneau
Kathleen Betty Reneau, 68, wife of Bud Reneau, died March 9, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Survivors include her husband, Bud Reneau of Brenham; sons Robbie Meuth and Colby Reneau and wife Stephanie of Needville; daughters and sons-in-law Lana and Buster Powell, and Marrissa and Nathan Jan, all of Needville; grandchildren Leah Powell, Tyler Powell, Tegan Meuth, Lexi Jan, Tayton Jan, and Savannah Reneau. Other surviving relatives are her mother-in-law, Priscilla Conner, and aunts Annell Zwahr and Ella Flentge, as well as several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Leah Kay Meuth; and father-in-law, Riley Reneau. Funeral arrangements for Kathleen Betty Reneau are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.

Sherri Simpson Rumph
Sherri Simpson Rumph passed away peacefully on March 4, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Danny Rumph and son, Joey Rumph, as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. A life celebration will be held on Saturday, March 14, 5:00pm at the Champion Cowboy Church on FM 1488 at Kickapoo Rd. in Hockley, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Champion Cowboy Church. Glenwood Schwartz, age 83 of Burton, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his home with family by his side. Glenwood is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Jeanette Schwartz of Burton; son, Dale Schwartz and wife Sue of Burton; daughters, Karen Anderson and husband Elton, “Andy” of Brenham, Linda Conley and husband Mark of Carmine; grandchildren, Matthew and Jenny Anderson, William and Jennifer Anderson, Brian Anderson and special friend Rachael Stephens, Lance Conley, Brook Conley and Allen Schwartz; great-grandchildren, Jay and Gavin Anderson; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation with the Schwartz family will be Tuesday, March 10th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services for Glenwood Schwartz will be Wednesday, March 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine with Deaconess Jennifer Tinker officiating. Rita Oglethorpe
Heaven welcomed home the faithful servant of the Lord, Rita Oglethorpe, age 70, on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility in Bryan after a brief illness. Rita’s purpose in life was loving and caring for her family, especially her daughter and son-in-law Kelli and Brian Barnes. She was devoted to her grandchildren, who called her “Mimi”. She enjoyed singing and going to church with Bryce, collecting dolls with Kate, and reading to Savannah. Rita is also survived by many beloved cousins and extended family. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8th from 5-8 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services for Rita Oglethorpe will be Monday, March 9th at 11 a.m. in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church with Rev. David Ottsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery, Chappell Hill. L Dee Homeyer Hinze, 97, widow of Elfon Hinze, died March 4, 2015 at Brenham Nursing and Rehab. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg with Pastor Denise Seymour officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Foehner Funeral Home. She will lie in state at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham until 3 p.m. Thursday. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Glenwood and Jane Hinze of Burton; grandchildren Brian and Kristi Hinze, and Julie and Wade Tiemann; great-grandchildren: Waylon Hinze, Weston Hinze, McKenzie Tiemann, and Ali Tiemann; sister-in-law LeVerne Hinze of Brenham; niece, Nancy Eilers and husband Wade; nephew Robert Hinze and wife Joyce, as well as numerous great-nieces and great nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elfon Hinze; her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, brother-in-law and her grandparents. Funeral arrangements for L. Diane Lynette Spencer Rhine
Diane Lynette Spencer Rhine, 67, passed away March 2, 2015 in the comfort of her home. A memorial service has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Groves officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Survivors include her loving husband Jack G. Rhine; daughter and son-in-law Kimberly McPherson Kenjura and husband Gregory and grandson Parker Harrison of Brenham, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Robert Spencer and Carolyn of Seabrook, Texas; nephew Erik Spencer and friend Loan Tran, as well as many treasured cousins and special family friends. Dora Finke Wehmeyer, age 98, and the widow of Ernest Wehmeyer passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Towers Nursing Home in Smithville. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Doris and David Roehling. Grandchildren; Debbie and Troy Schroeder, Dana and Gary Case, Doretts Batts and special friend Matt Fisher. Great grandchildren; Justin and Janice Schroeder, Adam and Kristen Schroeder, LeAnna Batts and special friend Martin Curiel, Brent Batts and Whitney Conrad. Step-great-grandson, Jaxon Schroeder. Funeral services for Dora Finke Wehmeyer will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 5:00 - 7:00pm at Mars Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, 104 Olive Street.
