Elfrieda Caroline Bader, 84, of Industry, Texas, died Saturday, February 24, 2001. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at 2 pm from St. John Lutheran Church, 520 North Holland, in Bellville with Rev. Milroy Gregor officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
Elfrieda Bader is survived by: Sisters, Nettie Reichle, of Houston Alma Lahrmann of Bellville. Nieces and their spouses, Janette & Bill Winkelmann of Conroe, Caroline & Ronny Woodley, Cindy & Dussy Kendrick all of Bellville, Donna & Ronnie Schulze of Cypress. Nephew and his wife, Freddie & Barbara Kaase of Houston. Also survived by a number of great-nieces & nephews and great-great-nieces & nephews.

Lucille Kubeczka
Lucille Kubeczka, 57, of Chappell Hill, and the wife of Florane "Floyd" Kubeczka, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Mrs. Kubeczka is survived by her mother, Helen Stegint of Hempstead. Husband, Florane "Floyd" Kubeczka of Chappell Hill. Daughters, Delores Brady and husband Shelby of Chappell Hill and Susan Heflin and husband John of New Braunfels. Grandchildren: Travis, Candice, and Corey Heflin, and Wesley and Matthew Brady. Brothers: Joseph Stegint and wife Elizabeth of Rosenburg andDavid Stegint of Houston; Sister: Shirley Acock and husband Melvin of Hempstead.
Funeral Mass for Lucille Kubeczka will be Monday February 26, 2001 at 10 am inSt. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill with Father Curt Lanzrath, OFM, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Bernice Marcus McNicoll, 75, of Brenham, died May 22, 2013 in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastors Matthew Jacobs and William Holzer officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Bernice McNicoll was born April 25, 1938 in the Rocky Hill Community of Washington County to Gilbert Fred and Lydia Schroeder Marcus. She attended area schools, and was a business owner in the community, managing the local Lone Star Stereo Store. She lovingly cared for her family as a homemaker. Bernice married Gene McNicoll on September 25, 1982. She enjoyed yard work, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Gene McNicoll; sons Casey Hahn Sr. and wife Lisa of Caldwell, Michael Hahn of Brenham, and Neal Hahn and wife Holly of Chappell Hill; grandchildren: Casey Jr. and Becky Hahn, Jason Hahn, Angela Hatch, Kortney and Colby Moore, Lane Hahn and Sydney Hahn; great-grandchildren: Haylee Hahn, Hunter Hahn, Harley Hahn, Alexis Hatch, Tanner Hatch, Landen Gladney, Jadyn Evans and Kyleigh Moore; sisters Myrtle Jean Randermann, and Carolyn Kessel and husband Ben, all of Brenham, as well as numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and the father of her children, Jimmie Hahn, Jr. She was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law, Jerry Randermann.
Other special friends to be remembered are sisters-in-law Dale Daly and Rita Westbrook.
Doris Joan Manning, 80, wife of Bill Manning, died May 20, 2013 at Brenham Nursing and Rehab. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Chappell Hill United Methodist Church in Chappell Hill, with Pastor Steve Shrock officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will take place Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gonzales Masonic Cemetery in Gonzales.

Dorothy Elizabeth (Habekotte) Reichardt Schroeder, 86, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Round Rock, Texas. There will be a Memorial Service at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
Dorothy Reichardt Schroeder was born April 25, 1927 in New York City to George and Bess (Hughes) Habekotte) and moved to Texas soon after her high school graduation.
For her 20 years of education, she held degrees from UCLA in Political Science; Texas Women’s University in Journalism and Political Science and Sam Houston State University where she received her teaching certificate. She taught in Brenham ISD for 35 years, having taught all grade levels in Spanish, Government and Economics that began at the old Alamo School.
Dorothy Reichardt Schroeder is survived by family members: sister Bess Burch of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law Rod and Janet Reichardt of Round Rock; step daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Dr. Kennon Wigley of Bryan-College Station; grandchildren Madeline Reichardt and Carter Reichardt; step-grandchildren Mark Wigley and Luke Wigley; nieces Bonnie Dougherty, Nancy Burch and nephew Bob Burch; cousins Herbert and Pat Hughes and their children Scott, O’Brien and Kelly, Henry and Nancy Hughes and their children “Bubba” and Judy. Also cousin William Lawrence “Bill” Spain and special family Bob and Diana Fly and their children Kate, Lindsey and Molly.

Clarence Bean, 91, died May 14, 2013 in Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 in Industry Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Leo Carrasco officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Bean of Corpus Christi ; son Kenny David Bean and family of Phoenix, Arizona ; brothers Harold Bean and family of New Ulm, and Paul Bean and family of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Mike Bean, and two brothers.

Olga Meyer Tesch, the widow of Alfred L. Tesch, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the age of 97 years in Scott and White Hospital-Brenham.
The funeral services for Olga Tesch are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 6 in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham with Pastor Phil Fenton officiating. Mrs. Tesch enjoyed a career in sales for 29 years retiring from J.C. Penney Co. and Weiner’s Department Stores in Brenham.
Olga Tesch’s survivors include half-sister Evelyn Tate, Odessa, Tex; nephews Gene Meyer and wife Barbara, Austin, Tex. and Thomas Tate and wife Callene, Odessa, Tex.; nieces Marjean Stabano, Taylor, Patricia Tate, Boulder, Colo., Sammye Gail Burnet and husband Richard, Houston, Tex.
