Patricia Lee Borgstedte, 65, wife of Dale Borgstedte, passed away December 10, 2015 in Katy. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2015 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington, with Pastor Greg Felder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Survivors include her husband, Dale Borgstedte of Brenham; daughters, Christina Borgstedte, and Rebecca Borgstedte; a grandchild, Blaze Graham; brother, Ken Cryer and wife Jennifer; sister, Joanne Zook. Other surviving relatives include brother-in-law, Ted Borgstedte, Jr. and wife Linda; sisters-in-law Mary Helen Steele and husband Arthur, and Terri Schilling and husband Larry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ken Cryer and Irma Lee Howard; sister, Darby Guin; nephew, Cody Guin; grandsons Hunter, Colt and Will Graham, and her mother-in-law, Thekla Borgstedte. Tommy William Kramer, Jr.
Tommy William Kramer, Jr., 66, of Bleiblerville, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, Texas. A graveside service for Tommy William Kramer Jr. will be held on Saturday, December 12th in Prairie Lea Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Bob Craig will officiate. Tommy Kramer Jr. is survived by his longtime special friend and caregiver, Betty Arndt Kramer, two (2) aunts Marilyn Joyce Basham and Johnnie Kramer along with numerous cousins. Funeral services for Arthur Tomanetz, 91 of Paige, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church in Paige, Texas with Pastor Michael Werner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, August 22, 2011 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Tomanetz passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Medstar Care Center in Giddings.
Arthur Albert Tomanetz was born on July 4, 1920 in Dime Box, Texas to Adolph & Mathilda (Hannes) Tomanetz. He was united in marriage to Joy Edna Wolf on April 20, 1946 at Martin Lutheran Lutheran Church in Giddings. Arthur spent four years in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a rancher who worked for many years for Dr. S.W. Mantzel in Giddings doing ranch work. Arthur served as president of the Paige School Board for many years and was active in his church where he held various church offices. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing dominoes and cards.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bernice Albers and Annie Marie Harzke and two brothers, Pete Tomanetz and Billy Tomanetz.
He is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Joy Tomanetz of Paige; daughter and son-in-law, Alyece & Pete Brady of Austin; son and daughter-in-law, Arthur "Buster" & Cheryl Tomanetz of Paige; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Edward & Tootsie Tomanetz of Giddings and a brother-in-law, Ewald Albers of Athens.

Ervin H. Sommerfeld, 86, of Brenham passed away Monday, December 7, 2015. Visitation with Ervin Sommerfeld’s family present will be Friday, December 11th from 5:00-7:00pm in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral service for Ervin Sommerfeld will be held Saturday, December 12th at 3:00pm in Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Salem with Pastor Ken Weiss officiating. Rosa Lee "Totsie" Krebs
Rosa Lee “Totsie” Krebs, 79, of Willow Springs passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was born in Nelsonville, Texas on February 4, 1936 to Ladgie and Annie (Pilchiek) Blazek. She was baptized in the Christian Faith, raised in the Catholic Church and married Calvin Otto Krebs on May 9, 1955, in Industry, Texas. In the early years of their marriage, Totsie was devoted to being at home raising their children working many varied jobs such as babysitting and ironing for others to help make ends meet. Having been raised on the farm, she never lost her love for working cattle and the land. She and Calvin worked together on the farm their entire married life and operated an egg farm for over 25 years. As she was one to always stay busy, after retiring from the egg operation, and continuing in the cattle business, Totsie went to work for the Brenham Independent School District in the cafeteria at the high school where she worked for almost 23 years until she became ill in May of this year. In her spare time, she also worked with the Industry VFD and City Hall. Totsie was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelby. Her greatest hobby was her love to dance which filled most weekends along with friends holding “party dances”. She enjoyed playing dominoes, whether it was 42 or 88, loved to cook and befriended many pets during her life. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Survivors include: daughter and son-in law, Sharon and David Pieper of Willow Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Derrell and Janie Krebs of Brenham; grandchildren, Megan and Brad Klausmeyer, Colton Pieper, Neil and Dora Krebs, Kelsey and Kyle Toomey, Ashley and Josh Sulik, Chance and Johanna Wilkerson; eight great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Irene Blazek of Sealy; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Henry Guthmann of New Ulm; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Milroy and Patsy Krebs of Willow Springs; special friend Harvey Dippel of La Grange; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Krebs; her parents; sisters and brothers –in-law, Nola and Edwin Marusik, Delores and Herbert Kaase; and granddaughter Brittany Pieper. A special thank you to all of her caregivers during her illness. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St., Industry, Texas. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6814 Skull Creek, Shelby, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Edwin A. Kuehn
Edwin A. Kuehn, 83, of Industry, TX passed away on December 3, 2015 at the Brenham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He is survived by his wife, Delores, two daughters; Cynthia Kuehn and Lori Krchnak and husband, Joey; son, Alan Kuehn, all of Industry, and one step grandson, Walter Krchnak. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5th, from 10:30am – 8:00pm at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St., Industry. Olga Tamez Beauchamp
(July 26, 1931 - June 13, 2011)
Olga Tamez Beauchamp was born on July 26, 1931 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Ralph B. & Juanita (Rocha) Tamez. She was united in marriage to Billy Beauchamp and was a loving and devoted homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Richard R. Tamez and a sister, Olivia Puntes.
Olga is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat & Pete Sandoval of Corpus Christi and Cecilia & Homer Fernandez of New Jersey; brother, Charlie & Dahlia Tamez of Pasadena; sister, Diana & Joe Denman of Colmesneil; grandchildren, Stephanie & Andrew Griffis of Corpus Christi, Erika Sandoval of Corpus Christi, Mario Fernandez of New Jersey and Emilio Fernandez of New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Rhianna Griffis, Evan Griffis, Peyton Griffis, Jahaggar Griffis and Dehlaynne Micol Griffis all of Corpus Christi and numerous other extended family members and friends.

Alois Bilski
Alois Bilski, age 88 of Brenham, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Alois Bilski was a former Washington County Commissioner. Alois Bilski is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Nickie Bilski; grandchildren Kirk Bilski and Dusty Bilski; great-grandchildren Morgan and Absidy Bilski; sister-in-law Regina Bilski along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the Bilski family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., tonight, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, December 5 at 2:00 p.m. with Msgr. Benedict Zientek as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Leonard E. Addicks
Leonard E. Addicks, 85 years of age, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Mr. Addicks served as the City Manager for the City of Brenham from 1984 – 1993. Leonard is survived by his wife of over 64 years, Josephine Weiss Addicks. She has been his partner and supporter in every aspect of his life. They have three children, Linda Addicks Hamer, Mark Addicks and Jeff Addicks and children in law, Sharon Addicks, John Hamer and Tom Hoch. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren including Nathan and Megan Kokemor, Joel and Shawn Kokemor, Jessica Addicks, Allison Addicks, Madison Addicks and John Addicks O’Toole, and his five great-grandchildren, Kole Kokemor, Emery Kokemor, Karsyn Kokemor, Amelia Kokemor and Knox Kokemor. He is also survived by his sister, Doris Mae and husband Clemence Weiss of Brenham, sisters in law, Verbie Weiss, Inez Weiss, and Madeleine and John Blasienz of Bryan, as well as cherished nieces and nephews. Visitation with the Addicks family is scheduled for Friday, December 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. A funeral ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brenham with a burial at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
