Ruth B. Tschatschula, age 90 of Brenham and the widow of Clarence Tschatschula, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013.
Surviving family includes: her loving daughter Beverly and her wonderful son-in-law Kenneth Peters of Brenham; grandson, Kenny Peters who was so special and the true love of her life and his wife Kim; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Shirley Krakosky of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Harry Hempel of San Antonio; brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Leona Krakosky of Houston; also numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of friends
Visitation with the Tschatschula family will be Friday, March 1st from 6-8 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services for Ruth Tschatschula will be Saturday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. in Grace Lutheran Church with Pastors Matthew Jacobs and William Holzer officiating. Interment will be in Houston National Cemetery.

Edward Longhofer, Sr., 88, husband of Elsie Longhofer, died February 25, 2013 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Ken Weiss officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Fredricksen Longhofer; sons and daughter-in-law Eddie Jr. and Mary Longhofer of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law Eledra June and Joseph Gerson of Mansfield, Tx, son-in-law John Sommerlatte of Conroe, Tx, son and daughter-in-law, John and Cindi Longhofer of Brenham; grandchildren: Gina and Matthew Stack, Damian Rasmussen and wife Tiffany, Joseph Adam Gerson, Julee Nicole Gerson, and Matthew Sommerlatte, Garrett and Anna Longhofer; great-grandchildren: Addison Jane Stack, and Taylen Lea Rasmussen; brothers: Vernon Longhofer of Katy, Floyd Longhofer of San Antonio, Jesse and Kathleen Longhofer of Harlingen, Tx, and Harold and Carolyn Longhofer of Katy, Tx; sisters: Anna Kieschnick of San Antonio, Tx, Wilba Koch of Flatonia, Tx, Juliana Longhofer of San Antonio, Tx, Bob and Katherine Derryberry of Moulton, Tx, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter, Jane Sommerlatte, a daughter-in-law, Joyce Marie Langenegger Longhofer, granddaughter, Janice Elaine Longhofer; brother, Melvin Longhofer, sister Bonita Longhofer Thomas, and mother-in-law, Bertha Canterbury.

Annie Lange, 83, of Brenham the wife of Rufus Lange, Sr., died May 16, 2005 in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
The funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, May 19 in Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastors Matthew Jacobs and Williams Holzer officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery at Gay Hill.

Ellis Emma (Fuchs) Wickel, 88, of Burton, died May 17, 2005 in Trinity Medical Center - Brenham. She is the widow of Kirby Wickel.
The body will lie in state in Foehner Funeral Home in Burton beginning Wednesday at 1:30 pm. The family will receive callers in Foehner Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19, 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held in Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine on Friday, May 20 at 2 pm with Pastor Pam Werrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
