Marie (Murski) Ullrich, 95, passed away April 11, 2012 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry. Father Tim Bucek will serve as Officiant. Burial will follow in the Shelby Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel
Marie was born December 3, 1916 in Somerville, Burleson Co., to John Walter and Pearl Ofczarzak Murski. She was educated in St. Mary’s School. On April 8, 1947, she married Herbert Ullrich in Annunciation Catholic Church in Houston. The couple moved to Austin County in 1984, making their home in the Shelby area.
Survivors include daughter Carol Jaster and husband Elwood of Brenham; grandchildren: David and Tammy Jaster, Jill and Justin Hirtzel, Holly Jaster and Keith Chilcutt; great-grandchildren: Justin Jaster, Colton Jaster and Joshua Hirtzel. She is also survived by a brother, Johnnie Murski of Greenwood, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ullrich, her parents, John and Pearl Murski; parents-in-law, Frank and Minnie Ullrich, one brother, six sisters, and several nieces and nephews, as well as a sister and brother who died in infancy.
Memorials may be directed to any favorite charity.

Margaret Gogolin Heideman joined her Lord and Savior at dawn on April 5, 2012.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and younger son, Paul, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, her brother Carl and sisters Clara Schulte, Gertrude Smith and Marie Cohen. She is survived by her son Kenneth and wife Becky, three grandchildren, Heather, Dawn and Alyssa; her sister Christine Grabow, her brother-in-law T. W. Wimberly and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Margaret will be Sunday, April 15, 6-8 p.m., at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Her service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2012 which would have been her 99th birthday, at St. Matthew in Sandy Hill. Officiating will be Pastor Leon Knitt, her former pastor, from Wisconsin. Her interment will be in the St. Matthew Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews and her former students.

James Henry Ganske, 69, of Brenham, passed away April 8, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville, with Pastor Virgil Pecht officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife and special caregiver, Shirley Ann Spiess Ganske; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cammie Ganske, and daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Matt Zibilski, all of Brenham; grandchildren: Robin Lanae Ganske and Laura Kate Zibilski. James was extremely proud of his two granddaughters, Robin and Laura.
Also surviving is sister-in-law Betty Ganske of Baytown, sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Marvin Marburger of Brenham, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marilyn and David Lange of Brenham. Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis and Lizzie Ganske, a brother, Milroy Ganske, and parents-in-law, John and Leona Spiess.

Glenn George Krause, 71, husband of Esther Ann (Andrejczak) Krause, died April 7, 2012 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Krause of Round Top; son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Suzanne Krause of Carmine; son, Weldon Krause of Round Top, and granddaughters, Madison, Megan, and Mallory Krause of Carmine. Other surviving relatives include brother-in-law Harry Andrejczak and wife Joyce of Caldwell, and sister-in-law, Irene Andrejczak of Brenham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rubin and Ira Nustedt Krause, an infant son, Harvey Glenn Krause, and parents-in-law, Joe and Angela Mazurkiewicz Andrejczak.
Funeral services for Glenn George Krause will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top. Pastor John David Nedbalek will officiate. Burial will follow in Florida Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a Prayer Service scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Patricia Jean Wiles
Patricia Jean Wiles, 58, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Bryan, Texas. She was born June 6, 1954 in Imperial Valley, California, to Julian Dee Foster and Barbara Rayshia Smith. In her school years she lived in El Paso, Texas, and attended Ysleta High School. She trained and broke horses before attending College. Patricia lived a short time in Yuciapia, California, and worked at the Mousley Museum. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.
Patricia visited Bryan, Texas, where she fell in love with Leslie Lovell, and she never left. She is a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She never met a stranger and was honest as the day is long. Everyday was a new adventure whether it was making soaps, reading books, watching movies, cooking banana nut bread, or homemade candies. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and contagious laugh with her shiny blue eyes.
Patricia left this world a strong and courageous woman. We will cherish, love, honor and respect her always. Thank you for the memories we love you. The family extends special appreciation to the staff of the Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility in Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and her brother, Mike Foster.
Survivors include her father, Julian Dee Foster and wife Letha; daughter, Katrina Franklin and husband Michael; son, David Seth Foster; brother, Charlie Foster; sisters, Peggy Foster Giesecke and Rebecca Sue Stallard; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Bertha "Mutzy" Fischer
Bertha “Mutzy” Fischer passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Scott & White Hospital Brenham. Bertha “Mutzy” Fischer is survived by: nephews and wives, Charles and Kay Ann Schwartz, B. J. and Diane Fischer, Eugene and Emily Fuchs, Gary and Linda Knipstein; nieces and husbands, Ann and Brian Bishop, Kay Lyn and Scott Murphy; great nephews, nieces and their spouses, Ben Fuelberg, Annie Schwartz, Todd Murphy, Cole Murphy, Holly and Lee Hasse, Stephen and Melissa Fuchs, Chad and Ginger Meadows, Tiffany and Bryan Galligans; numerous great-great nephews, nieces and cousins. There are many more Guelker, Prenzler, and Schwartz cousins who were special to her. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 27th from 5- 7 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Henry L. Derkowski, 87 of Chappell Hill and the husband of Theresa (Gurka) Derkowski, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was a farmer and rancher and a life-long member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Henry Derkowski is survived by loving family: wife, Theresa Derkowski, children, Henry Jr. and Pat Derkowski, Larry and Becky Derkowski, Robert and Carol Derkowski, Linda and Mark Bilski, Sandra and Larry Cegelski, 11 grandchildren as follows Shawn and Carrie Derkowski, Shelly Derkowski, Brian Derkowski, Larry Jr. and Tammy Derkowski, Darren and Ashlie Derkowski Robbie Derkowski, Jessica and Brian Bronikowski, Brooke and Kass Copelin, Bridget and Cody Marburger, Ashlie and Michael Bachmann, Chelsea Cegelski and fiancée Joel Quinteros; 9 great-grandchildren and one due in November; sisters Rosie Wisnoski and Helen Meleski, sister-in-law Judy Derkowski, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Martha Clara Kubeczka, 90, of Chappell Hill, died on June 19, 2015. She was the widow of Albin P. Kubeczka. Sandra Key Morse
Sandra Key Morse, 63, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, March 14 at her home. A memorial service will be at 6PM on Sunday, March 17 at the funeral home; her family will receive guests from 5:30 until the time of service. Service arrangements are in the care of Callaway Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.
Sandra Key was born to Virgil and Mildred Key in Athens, TN. Sandra graduated from Hernando High School in Florida, and went on to receive her Associates Degree to become a Registered Nurse. She was a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan during the 1980s. She enjoyed helping and being of service to people. Sandra moved into education as a Graduate Student Advisor in the Computer Science Department at Texas A&M; University, where she retired in 2003. She was a loving wife and mother. She married John Wilbur Morse in Florida after meeting him on a blind date set up by mutual friends. They remained married until John’s passing in 2009 and raised the love of their life, daughter Angela Morse.
Sandra was an avid reader, especially of fantasy and mystery novels. She also enjoyed cooking, especially for others. Prior to her husband’s death, they enjoyed traveling and taking trips where they could enjoy nature.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Wilbur Morse, PhD; and her father Virgil Key.
Sandra is survived by her family, daughter Angela Morse, a librarian for the City of Bryan; her mother Mildred Key; her brother Ronnie and wife Hazel Key; her niece Jackie and husband Russ Henry; great-nephew Ian Henry, all from Tennessee; her sister-in-law Kris Morse, of Duluth, MN.
