Wayne Henry Hold was born March 21, 1954 in Brenham, Texas to Ervin and Viola Albrecht Hold and passed away on March 23, 2012.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Diana, of Kenney, son Justin and fiancé Eryn Green of Kenney, daughter, Kimberly and husband Chris Wade of Brenham, mother and father in law A.B. and Sedonia Gajewski of Kenney, brothers in law, Patrick Gajewski and wife Vanessa of Houston, Dwayne Gajewski and wife Mary of Brenham, nephews Logan and Andrew Gajewski of Houston and nieces Caitlin and Ashlyn Gajewski of Brenham, and more friends than could ever be mentioned, and his precious grandchild who will be arriving in a few months.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel and a Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church cemetery.

Raymond A. Gurka, 85 of Chappell Hill, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2012, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on October 11, 1926 in Brenham, Texas to Pete Gurka and Annie (Pawlawski) Gurka and moved to Chappell Hill, Texas with his parents when he was six months old. He was the oldest of four children.
He is survived by his former wife, Barbara Koniecnzy Gurka of Chappell Hill; and 5 children, daughter - Theresa Derkowski and husband Paul of Chappell Hill; son – Joseph William Gurka of Chappell Hill and companion Tanya Kuny of Conroe; son – Alvin Gene Gurka and wife Helen of Chappell Hill; daughter – Dorothy “Jackie” Rotello and husband Tommy of Navasota; son - James Patrick Gurka and wife Barbara of Crawford; 7 grandchildren – Brian Derkowski and wife Sarah of Houston Clear Lake; Philip Derkowski and wife Bonnie of College Station; Joseph Rotello & Mary Rotello of Navasota, Jacob Gurka & Nathan Gurka & Josephine Gurka all of Chappell Hill; 3 great-grandchildren - Sheldon Derkowski & Benjamin Derkowski of College Station; Emily Derkowski of Houston Clear Lake; brother - Frank Gurka and wife Ruth of Chappell Hill; sister - Dorothy Faterkowski of Houston; sister - Suzie Zievert of Chappell Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 8pm Monday March 26 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home located at 1306 West Main St. in Brenham, Texas. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 27 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church 9175 FM 1371 in Chappell Hill, Texas with Rev. Jozef Musiol, SDS JCD officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.

Charles O. “Chuck” Reed of Sequin, TX, formerly of Round Top, the husband of Bernice Fricke Reed, passed away on March 21, 2012 in New Braunfels, TX.
Funeral service for Charles Reed will be held Saturday, March 24, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Round Top.
Visitation at 1:30pm at the church, service begins at 2:30pm.

Ella Mae Krause age 91 of Brenham passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Brenham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include son Gerald Krause, daughter and son-in-law Tudie and Earl Hathaway all of Brenham; grandchildren Kyle and Jennie Krause, Kris and Kasey Krause, Koy and Laura Krause, Kate Hathaway, Kari Hathaway, great-grandchildren Kaylin, Kullen, Kade, Kole, Karson, Koy Jr. “Ryder”; sisters Selma Nauman and Mae Dufilho; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy Krause, Margaret Peters, Delores and Clyde Walker along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Ella Mae Krause will be held at 2 o’clock p.m. on Saturday, March 24 in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham with Pastor Phil Fenton, officiating. Edwin Conway “Buddy” Booth age 68 of Brenham passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Bryan. Buddy Booth was a member of Lion’s Club and Sons of the Republic.
Buddy Booth is survived by his mother Marguerite Booth, daughters and sons-in-law Tricia and Garrett Kesterson and Cindy and Gene Duty, grandchildren Elizabeth Kesterson, Hunter Duty and Brittany Duty.

Erna Minnie Knebel Bergmann, 94, widow of Otto A. Bergmann, passed away March 18, 2012 in The Care Center of Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine, with Pastor Karen Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in La Bahia Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Foehner Funeral Home.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Fred H. and Verna M. Bergmann of Haughton, LA; daughter and son-in-law Carol Jean and Henry S. Leon Wellmann, 70, of Brenham, died March 16, 2012 at his residence.

L. J. Lacina age 96 of Brenham and the widower of Norma (Hodde) Lacina passed away March 15, 2012. L.J. was in the automobile and grocery business in Brenham with his brothers.
Survivors include his son and daugher-in-law, L.J. Lacina, Jr. and Carey Lacina, daughter Lorna Jane Lacina, son-and-daughter in law, Timothy Mark and Michele Lacina, grandchildren, Anna Rachael Lacina and her fiance' Austin Taylor, Jonas Michael Lacina, James Gifford, Lauren Gifford and Mark Ellis, brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Louise Lacina, sister Mildred Mahlmann, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, A.W.Jr. and Virginia Hodde.

Survivors include: his wife Bonnie (Glaeser) Bolcerek, brothers and sisters-in-law Florian Bolcerek, Albin and Louise Bolcerek, Bennie and Marjorie Bolcerek, sister Regina Bolcerek Antkowiak, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gene and Charlotte Glaeser, Frank and Darlain Surovik, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero, Louisiana. Burial will be in Louisiana.
Percy passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Cornerstone Hospital in Austin.
Percy Joseph Creppel was born on December 30, 1934 in Lafitte, LA to Edward "Eddie" Creppel Sr. & Viola (Zar) Creppel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Creppel Jr. and Margeurite Creppel Leparde.
Percy is survived by his children, Percy Jr. & Pam Creppel of Lafitte, LA, Peggy & Danny Breaux of Covington, LA, Patrick Creppel of Ledbetter, TX; grandchildren, Chad & Courtney Creppel and their children, Emma & Grant, Raquel Breaux and her son, Skylar Couton, Danny Jr. & Kathy Breaux and their children, Dustin Cascio and Danny Breaux III and Savannah & Brooke Creppel; two sisters, Zola Huff of Needville, MS and Dinah Creppel of Lafitte, LA as well as several nieces and nephews.
