Joseph “Joe” Mazurkiewicz, 87, of Brenham, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. Surviving family includes: his wife, Irene Mazurkiewicz; Children, Barbara Jaloway of Sealy, Texas, Mary Holtkamp and husband Charles of Brenham, Texas, Clara Grundy and husband Paul of Tucson, Arizona, Leonard Uhyrek and wife Delores of Missouri City, Texas, Mike Uhyrek and wife Robbie of Pearland, Texas, Janice Hoover of Carrollton, Texas, Janet Cherrington and husband Rick of Sugarland, Texas, Diana Lee and husband Rick of Lewisville, Texas; Grandchildren, Patricia Jaloway, Alison Malinowski, Tony and Frank Flannery, Lenny and Jacob Uhyrek, Lauren Cooper, Justin Uhyrek, Jessica Rivers, Josh and Ryan Hoover, Ashley and Kelsey Lee; as well as seven great-grandchildren. Joe is also survived by his siblings Sister Mary Florentine of San Antonio, Texas and Esther Kubezka and husband Joe of Conroe, Texas. Mary Etter Rosenbaum Randermann Franklin, 85, of Brenham, passed away August 18, 2016 in College Station. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Saturday, August 20, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Phil Fenton and Harry Briscoe officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 6:30 until 8:30 Friday evening, August 19, at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Mary and Charlie had two sons: Charles Bruce and Christine and Michael Henry and Cindy, all from Brenham, Texas. Mary loved Christine and Cindy as the daughters she never had, and they also loved her very much. Also surviving are grandchildren: Megan Randermann Wells, Andrew Randermann, Orry Randermann, Rinn Randermann, and Amanda Randermann, as well as seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Earl Rosenbaum and wife, Jeanette, and sisters-in-law Ella Mae Love and Virgina Rosenbaum. Teckla Ruby Rust, 87, of Brenham, Texas, died August 7, 2016, in Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. (BNRC). Ruth (Wiese) Henske
Ruth (Wiese) Henske, 95, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She was born October 20, 1920, in Kenney, Texas, the daughter of Christophe and Augusta (Wenzel) Wiese. She was baptized and confirmed on March 25, 1934, at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg. Ruth attended school at Kentucky Ridge, graduating from Bellville High School. She received a Nursing Degree from Blinn College. Ruth was united in marriage to Ervin Charles Henske on October 20, 1945 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg. Ruth was employed with Bellville General Hospital and Clinic. She was very well-known in the medical profession by many; Ruth was a surgery and clinical nurse for over 45 years for many doctors including; Dr. James Harle, Dr. Winston Neely and Dr. Don Bosse, before retiring in 2005. Ruth is survived by her sons: Terry Ervin Henske of League City, and Billy Henske (Becky) of Bellville; son-in-law: A.V. Hartman of Katy; grandchildren: Melanie Beisert (Neil) of Katy, Dana Mayson (Randy) of Katy, Tina Carr (Ty) of McKinney, Amanda Gaston (Zach) of Magnolia and Christopher Henske of Bellville. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Halen and Henley Beisert, Haley and Breyton Mayson, Taylor, Tristyn and Tatum Carr, Zoe and Ava Gaston and nieces, nephews and other dear family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin C., daughter, Nancy Hartman, parents, three sisters and five brothers.
