IOWA PARK - Donah Louise Waldon Lucore, 70, of Kamay died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in Kamay.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Albany, Texas, Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lucore was born March 3, 1928, in Mineral Wells, Texas. She and R.B. Lucore were married April 21, 1951, in Archer City, Texas. She was a supervisor for 20 years at the Wichita Falls State Hospital Tailoring Shop. She was a member of the Dundee, Texas, Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, R.B. Lucore of Kamay; a son, Jack of Kamay; two daughters, Debbie of Wichita Falls and Karen of Kamay; a sister, Mary A. Spoon of El Paso, Texas; three brothers, Bobbie Waldon of Siminole, Texas, Donald Waldon of Amarillo, Texas, and Homer L. Waldon of Haskell, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Leon B. Moeller
Leon B. Moeller, 73, of Scotland, Texas, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hampton Vaughan Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Carl R. Kent, former pastor of Scotland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Moeller was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Farmers Valley, Texas. She and Arthur G. Moeller were married May 27, 1953, in Wichita Falls. She served in the Women's Army Corps as a nurse during World War II. She retired from Levi Strauss in 1978 after working for 22 years as a supervisor. She was a member of Scotland Baptist Church, AARP, and was a former member of the Women's Business Association. She had lived in the area for 47 years.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Donna Hill of Holliday, Texas; a stepdaughter, Shirley Cates of San Antonio; a stepson, Jan of Fort Worth; two brothers, Thomas Fugett of San Antonio and Sammie Fugett of Wichita Falls; a granddaughter; and five step-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 this evening for visitation.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
Martha Barajas
Martha Barajas, 94, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in a Wichita Falls nursing home.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with the Rev. William Winaski officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Barajas was born May 29, 1904, in Oceola, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was a seamstress for many years in California and moved to Wichita Falls from Los Angeles 30 years ago. Her husband, Ramon Barajas, died Aug. 13, 1995.
Survivors include a nephew, Pete Martinez of Wichita Falls.

Lettie M. Oates
Lettie M. Oates, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Southwest Baptist Church with the Rev. David Adair, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Wall Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Oates was born Sept. 27, 1917, in Lonsdale, Ark. She and Vernon Oates were married Aug. 3, 1946, in San Angelo. She was a homemaker and a member of Southwest Baptist Church. She served with the Women's Army Corps during World War II. A daughter, Verna Oates Hollingsworth, died Nov. 11, 1990. Her twin sons, Vernon and Verbin, died June 7, 1947.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra Willis of San Angelo; two sisters, Irene Criner of Tulia, Texas, and Treba Porter of Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Ruby Hunter
BURKBURNETT - Ruby Hunter, 75, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Abundant Life Church of God in Burkburnett with the Rev. Anthony West, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Grandfield, Okla., Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Mrs. Hunter was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Arkansas City, Kan. She and Lee Hoyt Hunter were married Dec. 2, 1939, in Hollister, Okla. He died in 1989. She had lived in Burkburnett since 1952 and was retired from the Burkburnett Independent School District cafeteria. She was a member of Abundant Life Church of God and Senior Citizens of Burkburnett.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Jean Smith of Dallas and Sandra Kay Green of Burkburnett; three sons, Phillip Bruce of Perryton, Texas, Jack Lee of Quinlan, Texas, and Frank Dean of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Hazel Kelley and Kathryn Thompson, both of Arkansas City; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 this evening for visitation.
Richard Jackson Lott
IOWA PARK - Richard Jackson Lott, 57, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Iowa Park with the Rev. John Besse officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mr. Lott was born Dec. 19, 1940, in Wewoka, Okla. He and Janie Erwin were married Jan. 1, 1978, in Wichita Falls. He was a machinist for Evans Electric in Wichita Falls for 17 years. He moved to the Wichita Falls area from Liberal, Kan., in 1961. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Red River Renegades in Electra.
Survivors include his wife; his father, Jack L. of Iowa Park; two sons, Kevin and Christopher, both of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Tammy Myers of Van Buren, Ark., and Shelly of Wichita Falls; a sister, Barbara Mitchell of Iowa Park; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Lizabeth Snody Meade
OLNEY, Texas - Lizabeth Snody "Dutch" Meade, 82, of Olney died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in a Nocona, Texas, hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Meade was born March 6, 1916, in Vera, Texas. She and B.M. "Heavy" Snody were married in 1937. He died in 1970. She and G.P. Meade were married in 1977. He died in 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a past Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines International. She was a retired nurses aide. She moved to Olney from Vera in 1937. A daughter, Marian Snody, died Sept. 15, 1985.
Survivors include a son, Gary Snody of Olney; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Katherine Irene Choate
GRAHAM, Texas - Katherine Irene Choate, 66, died Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Graham. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Choate was born March 13, 1932, in Abilene, Texas. She had lived in Newcastle, Texas, since 1964. Her husband, Lewis Choate, died in 1990.
Survivors include three sons, William M. of Eugene, Ore., Kenneth L. of Midland, Texas, and Wilber L. of Graham; a sister, JoAnn Dalton of Graham; a brother, James Wilkinson of Irving, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Brenda Goodner
Brenda Prescott Goodner, 36, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, at a local hospice center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with the Rev. Harvey McMurray, pastor of City View Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Goodner was born June 25, 1962, in Wichita Falls. She had attended schools in Wichita Falls and Burkburnett. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Preston Leon Goodner; four daughters, Kimberly Hoover of Wichita Falls, Jamie of Holliday, Texas, Heather and Adriana, both of Seymour, Texas; a son, Jimmie Goodner of Holliday; her mother, Linda Hamilton of Wichita Falls; her father, Audry Prescott of Wichita Falls; her grandmother, Era Prescott; two brothers, Virgil and Mike Prescott, both of Hot Springs, Ark.; two stepbrothers, Rick Fielding of Wichita Falls and Jimmy Fielding of Oklahoma; a sister, Tami Morrison of Wichita Falls; and a stepsister, Donna Fielding of Oklahoma.

Alice Connell Flynn
Alice Connell Flynn, 91, of Wichita Falls died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Chapman, pastor of senior ministries at the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Chillicothe, Texas, Cemetery.
Mrs. Flynn was born June 20, 1907, in Timpson, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe. She moved to Wichita Falls in 1992 and was a former resident of Chillicothe and Vernon, Texas. Her husband, William H. Flynn, died in 1976. A daughter, Olaine Seibert, died in 1988. A grandson, Michael Seibert, died in 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Chamberlain of Fort Worth and Carrie James Watson of Dean, Texas; four sisters, Myrtle Mize of Haltom City, Okla., Odessa Lehman of Lufkin, Texas, Bea Champion of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jo Richardson of Longview, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Alfred Junior Patton
NOCONA, Texas - Alfred Junior Patton, 69, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in a Nocona hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Scott-Morris Funeral Home with Charles Shobert officiating. Burial will be in Starkey Cemetery.
Mr. Patton was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Montague County, Texas. He and Lillian Pierce were married in October 1969 in Lawton, Okla. He was a farmer and laborer. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ernest of Rockwall, Texas, and Jimmy Pierce of Nocona; a daughter, Melita Barnett of Rockwall; a sister, Mary Lee Underwood of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Walter of Rockwall and Gene of Big Spring, Texas; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
LaVerne J. Edgmon
FORT WORTH - LaVerne J. Edgmon, 82 of Henrietta, Texas, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Edgmon was born April 16, 1916. She was a retired hairdresser. She was a member of Henrietta Church of Christ, Order of the East Star No. 999 and the Joy, Texas, Fire Department Auxiliary.

HASKELL, Texas - Georgia Bernice Shipman, 71, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1998, in an Abilene, Texas, hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Eric Clark and the Rev. J.C. Amburn officiating. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Holden-McCauley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shipman was born Jan. 18, 1927, in Vera, Texas. She and C.L. Shipman were married July 19, 1943, in Vera. He died May 17, 1995. She worked as the food service supervisor at Haskell Nursing Center for 30 years and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Claudette Klein of Henrietta, Texas, and Tammy Crosson of Haskell; a son, James of Arlington, Texas; four sisters, Betty Pace of Thatcher, Ariz., Zoe Ella Evans of Marysville, Tenn., Blanche Luttrell of Fort Worth and Erma Hedgewood of Muskogee, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ruth Tomlinson Hunt

Mrs. Hunt was born July 7, 1912, in Old Glory, Texas. She and Clyde Hunt were married June 12, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas. He died Dec. 10, 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She had lived in Haskell since 1961.
Survivors include three daughters, Jean Fenner of Abilene, Patsy Henderson of Lueders, Texas, and Linda Hill of Albuquerque, N.M.; three stepsons, Jerry of Tulsa, Okla., Bobby of Longview, Texas, and Phillip of Midland, Texas; a sister, Helen Jones of Atlanta; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marvin E. Teakell
Marvin E. Teakell, 76, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Church with Reggie Coe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
Mr. Teakell was born May 9, 1922, in Bowie, Texas. He and Christine Adkins were married July 3, 1949, in Wichita Falls. He graduated from high school in Byers, Texas. He served in the Navy aboard a destroyer during World War II. He retired from the Wichita Falls Fire Department as battalion chief in 1985 after 35 years of service. He was also a sales representative for Crain Chemical for 45 years. He was a member of the Joseph A. Kemp Lodge No. 1287 AF & AM and the Scottish Rite of Dallas as a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a member of Grace Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronnie E. of Wichita Falls and Rickie M. of Weatherford, Texas; three sisters, Ruby Nichols of Byers, Gertrude Durham of Denton, Texas, and Pauline Moore of Wichita Falls; and five grandchildren.

Bill Rowley
BURKBURNETT - Bill Rowley, 65, of Burkburnett died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Mr. Rowley was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Bakersfield, Calif. He retired from the Army in 1974 after 22 years of service and was then a Realtor. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include a son, William Eugene Rowley Jr. of Tacoma, Wash.; and a brother, Harold James "Jim" of Tulare, Calif.

Jeffrey Don Hanes
FREDERICK, Okla. - Jeffrey Don Hanes, 33, of Frederick, Okla., died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Gish Funeral Home with Gary Dennis, minister of the Church of Christ in Tipton, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Tipton Cemetery.
Mr. Hanes was born Sept. 20, 1964, in Frederick. He attended Tipton schools and later attended the Great Plains Area Vo-Tech, where he won several awards, including first place in 1995 for VICA skills championship in consumer product service. He also placed 10th in the nation. In 1996 he placed second in state and second in the nation in the same category.
Survivors include his father, Larry Don Hanes; his mother, Linda Covington Adams; a brother, Charles Edward of Fort Worth; and a niece, Alexandra of Fort Worth.

Dean Summers
COMANCHE, Texas - Dean Summers, 75, of Comanche died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in an Abilene, Texas, hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Comanche with Dr. Van Christian and the Rev. Sam Randolph officiating. Burial will be in the Comanche Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Hall & Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Summers was born June 29, 1923, in Bib, Texas. He and Letha Elrod were married Oct. 2, 1948, in Comanche. He moved to Comanche in 1959 from Rising Star, Texas. He retired from Meads Bakery after 35 years, worked for Red & White Grocery for a short time and had worked for Hall & Sons Funeral Home for the past 10 years. He was a World War II veteran and served in the Navy. He was a member and deacon at the First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the North American Mission Service Corps Volunteers and served on the Mission Board. A son, Gary, died July 13, 1973.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gwinn Adams of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Frances Flippo of Highland, Texas, Betty Albright and Juanita Franklin, both of Baytown, Texas, and Nelda Larson of Fort Worth; two brothers, Royce and Rodney, both of Snyder, Texas; his stepmother, Stella Mae Jones of Snyder; and a granddaughter.

John A. Roberts Sr.
JACKSBORO, Texas - John A. Roberts Sr., 91, of Jacksboro died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in Quitman, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Coker Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Miller officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts was born Aug. 23, 1906, in Denison, Texas. He and Sue Wiseman were married Nov. 22, 1931, in Waurika, Okla. He was a retired machinist for ARCO Pipeline, formerly Sinclair. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Fort Richardson Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Stalcup of Fort Worth; two sons, John Andrew Roberts Sr. of Alba, Texas, and Pete Roberts of Dallas; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Magdalene Banks
Magdalene Tootsie Paulson Banks, 83, of Wichita Falls died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in Arlington, Texas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with the Rev. Bob Lee officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Banks was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Chicago. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Kamay. Her husband, J.D. Banks, died in 1988.
