Andrew Z. Morrison, 64, died Friday at Baptist Hospital East. He was the founder and former owner of Bluelick Auto Supply and a member of Congregation Adath Jeshurun.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Ann Morrison.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Brooke Morrison ' Plofsky (Matthew) of Deerfield, IL; sister-in-law, Goldie Morrison; four grandchildren, Talia, Dina, Micala and Jeremy Plofsky; and nephews, Jay and Brett Morrison.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11AM Sunday (today) at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 2926 Preston Highway.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Sylvia Schultz, 88 died Saturday. She was a founder of Paul Schultz Companies Inc.
She is survived by her sons, Steven & Richard (Angie) Schultz and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Thad and Tyler Schultz.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 3:00pm at the Temple Cemetery, 2716 Preston Highway. Following her service, a Celebration of her Life will be held at The Glenview ,5100 U.S. Highway 42 in the Community Room from 4-8pm. At 6:30pm a memorial service will be held at the Glenview, followed by a musical tribute.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Paul Schultz Endowed Fund at The University of Louisville School of Music.

Goldye Greenburg, 95, of Louisville, died Thursday. She was formerly of Chicago, Illinois and a member of City of Hope, Chicago Branch, Hadassah and Keneseth Israel Congregation.
She is survived by her son, Robert Greenburg (Fraeda); brother, Babe Waldman; grandchildren Laura and Steven Schindler and Morrie and Melissa Greenburg; great-grandchildren Drew, Jason and Nicole Schindler.
A graveside service will be held Friday (today) at 11 a.m. at Keneseth Israel Cemetery, 719 Locust Lane.
Memorial donations may be made to Keneseth Israel Congregation.

Wednesday, 6/22/2005 - 15 Sivan 5765
Marvin Gibson, 69, of Louisville died Sunday. He was a graduate of Male High School in 1955, where he was the senior class valedictorian. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Louisville and also a graduate of Kent School of Social Work. He was a caseworker at LaGrange Reformatory, a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a former member of Anshei Sfard Congregation and The Temple.
He is survived by his wife Carol Gibson; two sons, Jeremy (Irene Chase) of Highland Park, Ilinois and Joel of Laurel, Maryland; and three grandchildren, Isaac, Sophia and Elana Gibson.
The funeral will be today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. Interment in Anshei Sfard Cemetery, 721 Locust Lane. Visitation will be after 10:00a.m. today.
Memorial gifts to donor's favorite charity.

Wendy Brill, died Thursday evening.
She held a doctorate degree of Psychology and practiced in Thomasville, Georgia and in Louisville. She also practiced at the Bingham Child Guidance Center in Louisville.
She is survived by her parents, Shirley and Milton Brill; two brothers, Sandy Brill (Terry Carley) of Tallahassee, Florida and David Brill (Patricia); fianc', Gary Sprandel; and two nieces, Jacqueline and Arielle Brill and nephews, Michael and Robin Brill.
A graveside service will be held at The Temple Cemetery, 2716 Preston Highway, at 1:00pm on Sunday (today).
Expressions of sympathy may be given to Kosair Charities.

Edward L. Kahn, died June 13, 2005 at The King's Daughters and Sons Home. He had served in the military and was a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy.
He is survived by his wife, a brother and five children.
A graveside service will be held at Anshei Sfard Cemetery, 721 Locust Lane at 2:00pm Wednesday (today).

Anna Fishman Udewitz, 81 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, June 11.
Mrs. Udewitz was preceded in death by her husband Harry and brothers Sam and beloved William Fishman.
She is survived by sister, Bertha Hyman, nieces and nephews Shirley and Howard Markus, Don and Mary Susan Fishman, Joe and Janet Fishman, Bill Fishman, Carol Benjamin, Rebecca and Larry Hamilton, Rosalind Fishman, Michele Fishman, Jeanette Fishman, Jeffrey Craig, Paul Smith, Evelyn and Morris Herman and special friend Sandy Nasief.
Mrs. Udewitz was a longtime volunteer at Jewish Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (today) at 11:00am with interment in The Temple Cemetery, 2716 Preston Highway. Visitation will begin after 10:00am Tuesday.
Contributions can be made to the Anna and Harry Udewitz Children's Lounge Fund at the Jewish Community Center, The Temple or the charity of your choice.

Sofiya Bondar, 73, of Louisville, died Friday. She was a retired accountant and a member of Anshei Sfard Congregation.
She is survived by her husband, Yakob Fuks; son, Alex Foox (Tatyana); brother Efim Bondar; and grandson, Dimi Foox.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday (today), with burial in Anshei Sfard Cemetery, 721 Locust Lane. Visitation will begin at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.
Donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Jack "Jacob" Bass, 88, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday at Four Courts Senior Center.
A Louisville native, he graduated from Louisville Male High School and attended the University of Louisville. Growing up, he worked in his family business where he learned the watch and jewelry trade. For over fifty years, Jack owned and operated Jack Bass Jewelry. He was a member of St. George Masonic Lodge 239 F&AM, Scottish Rite, a member of The Honorary Order of Kentucky Colonels, and Kosair Shrine Temple.
Jack is survived by his three children, Lucy Monsour of Frankfort, KY, Moriah Bass Ritson of Glastonbury, CT and Allan Bass; and his two grandchildren, Leslie Monsour and Jesse Ritson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM at on Sunday (today), with burial in the Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 2926 Preston Highway. Visitation will begin after 10:00AM.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.

Leona S. Frank, 96, died Wednesday. She was a retired teacher at Cochran Elementary for 18 years. She assisted her husband, Gus Frank in his photography studio for many years. She was a founding member of Temple Shalom, a member of National Council of Jewish Women-Louisville Section, Hadassah and the Jewish Community Center.
She is was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Frank
She is survived by her sister, Gerry Snyder; brother & sister-in-law, Alfred and Libby Frank; numerous nieces and nephews, and her loyal caregivers, Vinia Johnson and Zell Williams.
Her funeral will be held 1:00pm Friday (today) with burial in The Temple Cemetery, 2716 Preston Highway. Visitation will begin after noon on Friday.
Memorial donations may made to Temple Shalom or Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville.

Dr. Manuel Schwartz, 87, died Monday, June 6, 2005. He was a professor at the University of Louisville of 35 years, at the Speed Scientific School and later in the Department of Physics, College of Arts and Science. He enjoyed teaching, doing research and directing students towards M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Results of his research on biophysics (membrane transport), over 100 papers, were published in national and international journals. He presented research papers at national scientific meetings every year and at international meetings every three years. He authored a book on Vector Analysis.
He was a member of the Sigma Xi - The Scientific Research Society, American Physiological Society and the American Association of University Professors.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ethel; son, Joel Schwartz (Barbara) of Chesterfield, Missouri; daughter, Susan Winter (Mark) of Highland Park, New Jersey; and five grandchildren, Michael and Dori Schwartz and Danielle, Benjamin and Jonathan Winter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (today) at 11:00AM. Visitation will begin after 10:00AM Thursday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts in support of the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in his name at the University of Louisville or to the Little Loomhouse.

Fanny Feler, 94, of Louisville, died Saturday, May 28, 2005. She was very devoted to her family and a known dressmaker in Louisville.
She is survived by her son, Armando Feler; daughter, Anita Deininger of Chile; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday (today) with burial in The Temple Cemetery, 2916 Preston Highway. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday.
Memorial gifts may be made to Four Court Senior Center.

Irene Gloria Osland, of Louisville, died Friday.
She was a member of Anshei Sfard Congregation.
She is survived by daughters: Elaine Weisberg (Ron) and Sandra Goldberg (Stan) of Frederick, MD: four grandchildren, Michael Weisberg, Robyn Slen (Ben), Margie Cohen (David) and David Goldberg; and two great grandchildren, Alex Slen and Jessica Cohen.
A graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Anshei Sfard Cemetery, 721 Locust Lane.

Gordon E. Yosinoff, 44, died Tuesday at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. He was a native of Queens, New York and a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines.
He is survived by his fianc', Mirian Gonzalez; daughter, Jessica Yosinoff of Seattle, Washington; son, Nicholas Yosinoff of Seattle; father, Richard Yosinoff of Lake Park, Florida; and sisters, Dana Chipkin of Homes, New York and Andrea Morris of Weston, Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (today) at 10:00am with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 9:00am Friday (today).

Wednesday, 5/25/2005 - 16 Iyar 5765
Judy Erlich, 52, of Louisville, passed away Monday, after a long struggle with diabetes. Judy was born June 2, 1952 in Haifa, Israel immigrating to Brussels, Belgium before coming to the United States in 1956. She was a former teacher before becoming disabled from her diabetes.
She is preceded in death by her parents ,Sara and Henry Erlich.
Judy leaves behind: Uncles Charles, Henry, Saloman, and Joseph of Rio DiJaniero, Brazil; cousins David Podgursky of Lake Worth, FL, Jeremy Podgursky of Chicago, Robert Podgursky of Brooklyn, NY and Rachel Spiro of Chicago; and Aunts Lois, Emily, Sara Jane and Wanda.
She will be missed by all of her family, especially by her Aunts Lois and Emily who have been blessed by her inspiration and her ability to continue to hope in the last years of her life. She was blessed to have a multitude of friends to share her life with.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (today) at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in the Keneseth Israel Cemetery, 719 Locust Lane. Visitation will begin after 1:00pm Wednesday (today).
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a contribution to American Diabetes Association, Keneseth Israel Synagogue, or to the donor's favorite charity.
