MOBILE COUNTY
Paul G. Bonham
MOBILE - Paul G. Bonham, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Friday at a local health care facility. He was 69.
Bonham was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and was retired from International Paper Company.
He is survived by two daughters; Sonja Fowler and Karen Voelkel, both of Mobile; and three grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 12:45 p.m. Monday at Little Flower Catholic Church, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.
Bessie V. Henderson
Bessie V. Henderson, a retired beautician, died Wednesday at her home. She was 89.
Mrs. Henderson, a native of Emelle, Ala., was a resident of Mobile.
She was a member of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, where she formerly served as a musician and president of the missionary department. She had also been a Sunday school teacher.
She was a president of the Sunlight District Baptist Association.
Among her survivors are three nieces, Ella Mae Turner of Chicago, Ollie Mae Johnson of Toledo, Ohio, and Minnie Sykes of Mobile; two nephews, Henry Moses and Roosevelt Speights, both of Mobile; two great-nephews; and four great-nieces.
Viewing will be from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, and after 5 p.m. at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 650 S. Bayou St., where visitation is set from 6 p.m. until the 7 p.m. services. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Paul C. Oubre
Paul Calvin Oubre, a New Orleans native and Mobile resident, died Thursday. He was 41.
Survivors include his wife, Tracey C. Oubre of Mobile; a daughter, Gabriella Marie Oubre of Mobile; his father, James P. Oubre of New Orleans; two sisters, Denise Brister of Foley and Ellen Oubre of New Orleans; and a brother, Phillip Oubre of Mobile.
Visitation will be at noon Monday at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, followed by services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
BALDWIN COUNTY
Rabun Earl Bullard
FOLEY - Rabun Earl Bullard, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., and a resident of Foley, died Thursday, July 8, 1999, in a swimming accident. He was 31.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Bullard, and two stepsons, Jonathan and Christopher Crowson, all of Foley; parents Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bullard Jr. of Foley; and one brother, Rex D. Bullard III of Foley.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory in Robertsdale.
James Owen
FAIRHOPE - James "Jim" Owen, a native of Paducah, Ky., and a resident of Fairhope, died Friday, July 9, 1999, at a local hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Owen of Fairhope; two daughters, Carol Owen Johnson of Seattle and Gail Owen Reilly of San Francisco; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Bayview Funeral Home of Fairhope, which is handling arrangements.
Georgie Price
BAY MINETTE - Georgie Violette Chapuis Price, a Grenada, Miss., native and Bay Minette resident, died Saturday at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was 88.
Mrs. Price was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Federated Women's Club of Greenwood, Miss. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Bay Minette. She and her husband were the first residents at Oakwood when it opened in 1991.
Her son, George L. Price Sr., is a former Bay Minette City Council member and a leader in Key Club International.
She is also survived by two other sons, Judson D. Price Jr. of San Francisco, and Hugh C. Price of Dallas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church Chapel in Bay Minette, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Bay Minette Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Bay Minette Public Library, 1 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette, AL. 36507, or to Oakwood Nursing Home, 2010 Medical Center Drive, Bay Minette, AL. 36507.

CLEARSPRINGS - Michael Paul Schaefer died Friday at a local hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Christy Schaefer of Clearsprings; maternal grandmother, Patricia Brown of Clearsprings; maternal grandfather, Gary Newby of Deland, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Margaret Argue of Ireland; paternal grandfather, Arthur Schaefer of Pensacola. Fla.; maternal great-grandparents, Paul and Mary Brown of Clearsprings, and paternal great-grandmother, Viola Schaefer of New Jersey.
Graveside services and internment will be at 4 p.m. today at Clearsprings Methodist Church Cemetery in Clearsprings.
Memorial donations may be made to a children's charity of your choice.

Fannie DuBose
SILAS - Fannie DuBose, a Choctaw County native and a Silas resident, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was 93.
Ms. DuBose was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Larry DuBose of Silas; two daughters; JoAnne Abston of Gilbertown, and Jackie Allen of Cromwell; two brothers; Marvin Koen of Butler and Carl Koen of Cullomberg; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Silas, followed by services at 2 p.m. Interment
will be in Edgar Cemetery in Silas. Arrangements are by Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler.

Patsy Blackmon
ATMORE -Patsy Blackmon, a homemaker and member of Great Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore, died Wednesday at Atmore Community Hospital. She was 96.
Mrs. Blackmon was a native of Monroe County, but had been a resident of Atmore for most of her life. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 648 in Atmore.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosie M. Payne-Harrison and Tinner Blackmon, both of Atmore; three sons, Oleo Blackmon of Pensacola, Fla., and John Vince Blackmon and Frank Lee Blackmon, both of Naples, Fla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, with a family hour scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore.
Services are scheduled for 1 p. m. Monday at Greater Mount Triumph Baptist Church, with burial in the Stallworth Cemetery.

James R. Foxhall
LINDEN- James Robert Foxhall, a Marengo County native and a Linden resident, died Saturday at a local nursing home. He was 92.
Foxhall is survived by a brother, Verne Foxhall of Thomaston.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. today at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden, followed by services at 2 p.m. Interment
will be in New Octagon Cemetery.

Yolanda B. Pickens
CALVERT - Yolanda Barnes Pickens, a Calvert native, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was 46.
Mrs. Pickens was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church of Calvert. She was a retired employee of Searcy Hospital in Mount Vernon, and was a member of the Alabama State Employees Association.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Pickens of Calvert; three daughters, Danielle Barnes of Calvert, Rashawn Cox of Bay Minette, and Kalandis Pickens of Calvert; two stepsons, Deon Chatman of Grove Hill and Anthony Wiganowski; seven brothers, Fletcher Barnes of Fairford, Purvis Barnes, Sterling Barnes, Charles Barnes, Vivian Barnes, Nathaniel Barnes, all of Calvert, and Freddie Barnes of Mount Vernon; five sisters, Shirley Hill of McIntosh, Alice Radcliff, Leila Davidson, Minnie Law, all of Calvert, and Carolyn Spencer of Eight Mile; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in McIntosh.

Alicia L. Greeley
DEER PARK, Texas - Alicia Lynn Greeley, a Mobile native and Deer Park, Texas, resident, died Monday at her home. She was 21.
Survivors include her parents, Patti and Steven Greeley of Deer Park; maternal grandfather, John M. McCarron Sr. of Mobile; and paternal grandparents, Tom and Ruth Greeley of Mobile.
A funeral was held Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Pasadena under the direction of Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Graveside services and burial took place Friday in Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile.
Raymond Rounsaville
LEAKESVILLE - Raymond Walker Rounsaville, a former contractor in Mobile, died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 79.
Rounsaville, a contractor and timberman, was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Leakesville. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II Army veteran and worked locally as a contractor and timberman.
He is survived by his wife; Ruth Daughdrill Rounsaville of Leakesville, Miss., two sons, Hal W. Rounsaville of Leakesville and Kent R. Rounsaville of Ellisville, Miss., and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home in Leakesville. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Leakesville. Burial will be in Magnolia McLoud Cemetery in Leakesville.

Mayme Daniels
Mayme Boykin Miller Baker Daniels, a former employee of the Mobile County Public School System, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was 89.
The Mount Vernon native had lived in Mobile for many years before moving to Los Angeles. She returned to Mobile in 1986.
Mrs. Daniels was a member of State Street AME Zion Church, where she was a deaconess and was affiliated with the Life Members Council and the Allen Boykin Missionary Society.
Survivors include four sons, Benjamin Baker Jr. and Hubert Baker, both of Mobile, and Paul Baker and Elbert Baker, both of Los Angeles; a stepson, Sherwood Daniels of Chicago; three daughters, Constance C. Tucker of Pasadena, Calif., and Jane B. Nettles and Myrtis B. Evans, both of Mobile; two brothers, Charles Miller and Arthella Miller, both of Detroit; a sister, Genevieve Hubbard of Mobile; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday at State Street AME Zion Church, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson-Allen Mortuary.
Tyrone K. Demming
Tyrone Kishauna Demming, a newborn, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Jimel Barney, and his father, Tyrone Demming, both of Mobile.
Graveside services are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lawn Haven Cemetery, with Gilmer's Funeral Service on Zeigler Boulevard in charge of arrangements.
Lela M. Finch
Lela M. "Mamoo" Finch, a member of Stone Street Missionary Baptist Church, died Saturday at her home. She was 94.
Mrs. Finch, a native of McIntosh, Ala., lived in Mobile.
She was a member of Olivia Chapter No. 426 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Heroines of Jericho, Avesta Court No. 31, where in 1996 the group's youth organization was named in her honor.
Survivors include a daughter, Velma Lee Johnson of Detroit; a brother, Willie B. Allen of Mobile; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Viewing will also be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Stone Street Missionary Baptist, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Thomas E. Greene
The Rev. Thomas Edward Greene, pastor of Temple Baptist Church, died Monday at the age of 71.
A native and resident of Mobile, Greene's home church was Myers Memorial Baptist Church. He had served as pastor and interim pastor of many small churches.
He was a retired U.S. Civil Service employee.
A veteran, Greene had served with the military in Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Sasser Greene of Mobile; three sons, Ronald E. Greene, Donald H. Greene and David A. Greene; a daughter, DeAnna Greene Pace; and a brother, Donald E. Greene, all of Mobile; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Eugene L. Murphy
Eugene L. Murphy Jr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Saturday at a local hospital. he was 85.
Murphy, who was in the dry cleaning business, was familiar to many residents and local businesses.
He was a member of First Christian Church. While physically able, he served as deacon and also served on many committees. He was also at church every Sunday, handing out the church bulletins.
Murphy served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Lee Murphy.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Julia B. Saucier
Julia Bowling Saucier, a member of Fountain of Life Church, died Monday at a local hospital. She was 61.
Mrs. Saucier, a native of Jackson, Ala., was a resident of Saraland.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Saucier; four children, Rusty Saucier, Lynn Bentley, Susan Saucier Watts and Amanda Harris; and seven grandsons.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bowling Cemetery in Leroy, Ala., with Radney Funeral Home of Saraland directing.

Grace McKenzie
JACKSON - Grace McKenzie, a homemaker and member of Mount Olive No. 2 Baptist Church of Jackson, died Thursday at her home. She was 84.
Mrs. McKenzie was a native of Koenton, Ala.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathan Hicks of Dallas and Charlie James Hicks of Cerritos, Calif.; a brother, Mack Henry Holcombe of Lisman, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at Mount Olive No. 2 Baptist Church of Jackson, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in McKenzie Cemetery. Arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home of Jackson.
Ernest E. Starks
WEST BEND - Ernest Elbert Starks, a self-employed cattle farmer and merchant, died Sunday at his home. He was 85.
Starks, a native of Alabama, was a resident of West Bend. He was a member of West Bend Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his daughter, Blanche Starks of Coffeeville, Ala.; a sister, Elna Purvis of Mount Vernon; a brother, Charlie DeWitt of Wilmer; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
Services are set for 11 a.m. today at West Bend Baptist Church, with burial in West Bend Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.

Lillie B. Reed
ATMORE - Lillie Bell Reed, who had worked as a quilter with Goodwill Manufacturing, died Saturday in Atmore. She was 78.
Mrs. Reed, a native of Repton in Monroe County, was a resident of Atmore.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Reed, a daughter, Annie King, and a sister, Macie Harrison, all of Atmore; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services took place Monday at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Dolphus H. Causey
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Dolphus Hylyard "Harry" Causey, a former resident of Chickasaw, died Sunday at a hospital in Winter Haven. He was 76.
Causey, a native of Shawmut, Ala., had been employed as a laboratory technician.
He moved to Winter Haven from Chickasaw in 1986.
The U.S. Navy veteran was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Causey of Winter Haven; a son, Philip Dolphus Causey of Tallahassee, Fla.; and a grandchild.
Services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Hope Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, with graveside services at 2 p.m. in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Hope Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.
Rose C. Foolkes
NEW ORLEANS - Rose Caro Foolkes, mother of a retired Mobile businessman, died Sunday at a New Orleans hospital at the age of 91.
Survivors include two sons, Gil Ardizone of Mobile and William Foolkes Jr. of New Orleans; a daughter, Dorothy Kirchen of New Orleans; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. today at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in Metairie, La., followed by services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie.
Alicia L. Greeley
DEER PARK, Texas - Alicia Lynn Greeley, a Mobile native and Deer Park, Texas, resident died Monday at her home. She was 21.

Amos C. Self
APISON, Ga. - Amos Clinton Self, a former longtime Mobile resident, died Saturday at his home of complications associated with Alzheimer's disease. He was 81.
Self, a native of Ardmore, Ala., was a resident of Apison. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He had been employed as a nurse anesthetist, having worked in Mobile for 20 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Hervey Etta Self; three sons, Charles Self of College Station, Texas, Robert Self of Charlotte, N.C., and Donald Self of Apison; a daughter, Lisa Woodruff of Chattanooga, Tenn.; four sisters, Sadie Dart of Sand Mountain, Ga., Helen Eadie of Candler, N.C., Laura Parnam and Tulamae Coble, both of Calhoun, Ga.; a brother, Clifton Self of Sand Mountain; and nine grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 5 p.m. today at Lynwood Hall Chapel on the campus of Southern Adventist University, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Collegedale Memorial Gardens. Lane Funeral Home's South Crest Chapel in Rossville, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
