Annie May Wilson
FAIRHOPE — Annie May Wilson, a native of Robertsdale and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at her residence.
She is survived by her daughter, Lottie Mae Capers of Fairhope; her son, Edmond B. Wilson Jr. of Fairhope; a sister, Lucille Micholson of Lillian; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Fairhope Church of Christ. Burial was in Timney South River Park. Arrangements were made by Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.

Dollie L. Parker
BELFOREST — Dollie L. Parker, a native of Covington County and a resident of Belforest, died Wednesday, July 14,1999, in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Dixon of Belforest, Sandra Bennett of Loxley and Jackie Majors of Detroit; two sons, George C. Parker of Defuniak Springs, Fla., and Guy Parker of Fairhope; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the chapel of Bayview Funeral Home. Burial took place in Belforest Community Cemetery.
Bayview Funeral Home Daphne/Spanish Fort was in charge of arrangements.

William Selene Adams
DAPHNE — William Selene Adams, a lifelong resident of Daphne, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at a local hospital. He was 87 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Bell" Adams of Daphne; four sons, Robert Louis Adams and Arthur N. Adams, both of Altadena, Calif., Edward G. Adams of Daphne and Michael Adams of Mobile; six daughters, Shirley Quaites of Daphne, Constance Rover of Chicago, Mamie Lee Adams of Daphne, Patricia Hall of Mobile, Pegan Harris of Birmingham, and Juana McCorvey of Montrose; one sister, Autherine Smith of Fairhope; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Shrine of the Holy Cross with Father Robert McGown S.J. as celebrant. Burial will take place in Montrose Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from at 9 a.m. Monday until the 11 a.m. funeral hour.
Arrangements are by Wolfe Funeral Home in Fairhope.

Sharlene Foster
BAY MINETTE — Sharlene Benton Foster, a native of Fayette and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at North Baldwin Hospital.
Mrs. Foster, 52, was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, George Winston Foster of Hall's Fork community; one son, George Winston Foster Jr., of Rabun; one daughter, Darlene Stewart of Perdido; three brothers, James Benton, Billy Benton and Roy Benton, all of Bay Minette; three sisters, Christine Wilson, Geraldine Roberts and Faye Roberts, all of Bay Minette; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Vick officiating. Burial will take place in Hall's Fork Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette.

Ruby Bertha Overy
FAIRHOPE — Ruby Bertha Overy, a native of London, England, died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at her son's Fairhope residence.
She was 91 years old.
Mrs. Overy is survived by her son, Alan W. Overy; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Fairhope Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. in Fairhope.

Thomas N. Morgan
MARLOW — Thomas N. Morgan died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. Morgan, 72, was a native of Flomaton and had lived in the Marlow area for 13 years.
The Morgan family lived in Flomaton, Magnolia Springs and Montgomery. During World War II, Morgan served in the U.S. Navy and later graduated from Auburn University with a degree in horticulture. He worked as a floral designer in Montgomery and Los Angeles.
After retiring, he moved his family to Marlow where he first worked at the now-defunct Ka Lynn Florist and for the last five years worked in the greenhouses at Marriott's Grand Hotel in Point Clear.
Morgan is survived by his son, one sister, three brothers and other family members. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Wolfe Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. in Fairhope is handling the arrangements.

Nellie T. James
Nellie T. James, a Theodore homemaker and resident, died Monday at her home. She was 67.
The Winchester, Miss., native was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd R. James of Theodore; three sons, Tommy Jordan of Gulf Shores, David Tatum of Raymond, Miss., and Randall Stevenson of Theodore; four daughters, Linda T. Bryant of Mobile, Melanie Williams of Theodore, Carissa Lundy of Little Rock, Ark., and Cherlyn Stevenson of Louisiana; two brothers, A.C. Gilbert Jr. of Winchester and C.A. Gilbert of Theodore; five sisters, Helen Leverett, Vivian Johnson, Vera Gilbert, Margaret Gilbert and Wilda F. Gilbert, all of Mobile; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 2 p.m. today at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Miss., with burial in Winchester Cemetery.

Mary Kearley
CODEN — Mary Cora Ladnier Kearley, who had been involved in the seafood industry in Coden for many years, died Tuesday at a local health care facility. She was 92.
Mrs. Kearley, a Dauphin Island native, was a longtime Coden resident.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Johnson of Coden, and Juna Rose Kunkle of Charlevoix, Mich.; five sons, James Kearley of Hattiesburg, Miss., Forrest Kearley and Alfred Kearley, both of Irvington, Leo Kearley of Theodore, and Calvin Kearley of Spring, Texas; 30 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Church of God of Prophecy in Bayou La Batre, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Oddfellow Cemetery. Arrangements are by Serenity Funeral Home.

Wylodine Langley
Wylodine W. "Dean" Langley, a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, died Tuesday at a local health care facility. She was 68.
Mrs. Langley was a native of Gordo, Ala., and a Saraland resident.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Langley of Saraland; one son, Donald E. Langley Jr. of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Blanche Price and Evaleta Davis, both of Chickasaw; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. today in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home in Saraland.
Memorials may be made to the Sue Nicholas Fund at Shiloh Baptist Church, 717 Cleveland Road, Saraland, AL 36571.

Willie E. Stacey Jr.
CITRONELLE — Willie Ettard Stacey Jr., who had worked as a shipfitter, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 71.
Stacey was a native of Jackson, Ala., and a Citronelle resident.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Annie Mae Dearmon of Deer Park, Ala.; two sons, Ed Stacey of Citronelle and Mickey Stacey of Axis, Ala.; a daughter, Judy McGowan of Mobile; two brothers, W.C. "Bud" Dearmon of Georgiana, Ala., and D.C. Dearmon of Deer Park; three sisters, Beatrice Tate of Bay Minette, Dean Sparks of Mobile and Jerrie Tello of Houston; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, Ala.

CHOCTAW COUNTY

Katie B. Turner
BUTLER — Katie Bozeman Turner, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a health care facility in Butler. She was 65.
Mrs. Turner was an Alabama native and had lived in the Red Springs community.
Survivors include a son, Jessie "Buddy" Pruitt of Gilbertown, Ala.; a daughter, Wanda Stogner of Toxey, Ala.; three brothers, Junior Bozeman of Birmingham, Billy Bozeman of Mobile and Henson Turner of Red Springs; five sisters, Ruby Wilson of Red Springs, Judy McKenzie of Meridian, Miss., Patsy Emmons, Annette Bozeman and Diane Bozeman; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler, where services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Red Springs Cemetery near Gilbertown.

CLARKE COUNTY

Teresa Bradley
JACKSON — Teresa Bradley, a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, died Sunday in Choctaw County of injuries she suffered in a traffic accident. She was 20.
Miss Bradley was a native and resident of Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Ebony Pugh of Jackson; her mother, Annie M. Bradley of Jackson; and seven sisters, Lida Campbell of Coffeeville, Ala., and Tammy Bradley, Shirley Ann Bradley, Patricia Bradley, Jennifer Bradley, Barbara Bradley and Mary Bradley, all of Jackson.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olive No. 2 Baptist Church in Jackson, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Jackson. Arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home in Jackson.

Ruth D. Clarke
GROVE HILL — Ruth D. Clarke, a homemaker and member of Grove Hill Baptist Church, died Monday at her home. She was 75.
Mrs. Clarke was a native of Coffeeville, Ala., and a Grove Hill resident.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Clanton Bumpers and Sonia Clanton Sheffield, both of Grove Hill, and Melba Clanton Bumpers of Monroeville, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Patsy Clarke Purvis of Mobile; two brothers, Edward Dunagan of Jackson, Ala., and Clanton Dunagan of Coffeeville; a sister, Virena Counselman of Coffeeville; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill. Services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Grove Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Ulcanush Baptist Cemetery.

Rosevelt L. Roper Jr.
JACKSON — Rosevelt Lenoid Roper Jr., a newborn, died Friday in Jackson, Ala.
Survivors include his mother, Laverne James of Whatley; his father, Rosevelt L. Roper Sr. of Grove Hill, Ala.; his grandmother, Claudia Roper of Grove Hill; his great-grandmother, Nettie Lou James of Whatley; a brother, Bobby James of Whatley; and two sisters, Latoya James and Tyra James, both of Whatley.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Indian Ridge Baptist Church in Whatley, with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home in Jackson.

MONROE COUNTY

Rudolph Majors
EXCEL — Rudolph Majors, who had worked in the finishing department at Vanity Fair Mills, died Tuesday at the age of 74.
Majors was a Monroe County native and Excel resident. He was a member of Excel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Vickery Majors of Excel; a son, David Majors of Excel; two daughters, Angelia Williamson of Excel and Meta Kay Bailey of Megargel, Ala.; a brother, Dale Majors of Excel; a sister, Carol Parrish of Excel; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Johnson Funeral Home in Monroeville. Services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Excel Baptist Church with burial in Excel Cemetery.

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Dennie O. Weaver
McINTOSH — Dennie Opal Weaver, a truck driver, died Monday at an area hospital. He was 55.
Weaver, a Washington County native, was a resident of McIntosh. He attended Magnolia Holiness Church in McIntosh.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Weaver of McIntosh; three daughters, Glenda Weaver, Maggie Hammons and Tracie Weaver, all of McIntosh; three brothers, Johnny Weaver of Eight Mile, Ivory Weaver of Semmes and Ronnie Johnston of McIntosh; a sister, Rosie Stewart of Semmes; and one grandson.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at Magnolia Holiness Church, where services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in McIntosh. Arrangements are by Freeman Funeral Home of Citronelle.

Michael C. Biggs
DEMOPOLIS, Ala. — Michael Cecil Biggs, father of two Linden, Ala., residents, died Monday at his home. He was 41.
Biggs, a native of Decatur, Ala., was a resident of Demopolis. He worked as a salesman with Demopolis Tire Service.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret C. Biggs of Linden; a son, Michael C. Biggs Jr. of Linden; a daughter, Candis Rene Biggs of Linden; two sisters, Jeanette Griffin of Demopolis and Nellie Sullivan of Linden; and his longtime companion, Dana Fairley of Demopolis.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. today in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallion, Ala., with O'Byrant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden directing.

Emanuel Gulley III
TAMPA, Fla. — Emanuel "Taddy" Gulley III, a native of St. Elmo, Ala., and resident of Tampa for nearly 20 years, died of natural causes Thursday at a hospital in Tampa. He was 45.
Gulley, a graduate of St. Elmo High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was recently ordained as a deacon at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Gulley of Tampa; four children, Sherry D. Gulley, Laverne N. Gulley, Alrecia Gulley and Emanuel Gulley IV, all of Tampa; his parents, Dorothy and Emanuel Gulley Jr. of St. Elmo; six sisters, Eva Broughton and Adrianne Rankins, both of St. Elmo, Brenda McWilliams and Deborah Broughton, both of Theodore, Carolyn Franklin of Dallas, and Sharon Campbell of Prichard; and four brothers, James Gulley, Gregory Gulley and Michael Gulley, all of St. Elmo, and George Gulley of Lynthia Springs, Ga.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th St., in Tampa. Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa.

Hiltrud Arzt Boullemet
FAIRHOPE — Hiltrud Arzt Boullemet, a longtime resident of Fairhope, died Sunday, July 18, 1999, in a local hospital.
A native of Beerfelden, Germany, she was 80 years old.
Mrs. Boullemet is survived by a daughter, Michelle Boullemet Duval of North Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Wilhelm Arzt of Bensheim, Germany; family by marriage, Frank Augustus Boullemet; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Graham officiating. Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
The family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Wolfe Funeral Home in Fairhope.

Marian T. Shively
POINT CLEAR — Marian T. Shively, a native of Mount Vernon and a resident of Point Clear, died Monday, July 19, 1999, at a local health-care facility. She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Shively was a member of the Lakewood Golf Club.
She is survived by her husband, Richard F. Shively of Point Clear; two daughters, Nancy Brown of Toledo, Ohio, and Jan Mumford of Carmel, Calif.; a son, Richard O. Shively of Houston; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday at Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Morton McMillan.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mercy Medical, P.O. Box 1090, Daphne, AL 36526 or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.

Willie Mae White-Sanders
BAY MINETTE — Willie Mae White-Sanders, a native of Bay Minette and resident of Brooksville, Fla., died Monday, July 12, 1999, at her home.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church, and was 63 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Campbell of Springhill, Fla.; her son, Bruce White of Bay Minette; and two grandchildren, Ashley Campbell and Kennedy White.

Claire de la Vergne
GULF SHORES — Claire de la Vergne, a lifelong resident of New Orleans and a recent resident of Gulf Shores, died Monday, July 19, 1999, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, La. She was 71 years old.
Survivors include her daughter, Katherine de la Vergne Rault of Gulf Shores; her son, Joseph Matthew Rault III of New York; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ Catholic Church in New Orleans, with additional visitation held at 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass. Burial will follow in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.

Harold Waites Penick Sr.
FOLEY — Harold Waites Penick Sr. of Foley died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at his home in Foley.
The 79-year-old University of Alabama graduate was a member of the University of Alabama Engineering Society. He was also a member of the Hadji Shrine Temple in Pensacola, the Sonora Masonic Lodge and the Baldwin County Shrine Club.
Penick was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II. He achieved the rank of lieutenant. He was an employee of Redstone Arsenal Missile Command in Huntsville as project manager for more than 34 years.
Penick also was a member of the Navy Officers Association and the Foley First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of more than 55 years, Jane Wells Penick of Foley; two sons, Harold Waites Penick Jr. of Kernersville, N.C., and Gregory Martin Penick of Magnolia Springs; a brother, John W. Penick of Mobile; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Bayview Funeral Home.
Graveside military honors will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Bar rancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital Transportation Fund.
Bayview Funeral Home of Foley is handling arrangements.
