DELAND - Anna M. Anderson, 76, of Palm Terrace, died Nov. 15, 1998, at a local care center.
A homemaker, Mrs. Anderson was born in Philadelphia and moved to DeLand from Miami in 1995.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Miami.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by a son, Eady Jr. of Hialeah; three daughters, Marion Hamilton and Agnes Crosson, both of DeLand, and Edith Hendricks of Miami; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

SEVILLE - Geneva C. Bradley, 72, of Bennett Road, died Nov. 13, 1998, at her home.
A homemaker, Mrs. Bradley was a lifelong resident of her hometown of Seville.
She is survived by a son, James "Bugs" of Pierson; a daughter, Jeanette "Penny" Longmire of Enterprise; two brothers, Leroy Cohen of Seville, and Harold Cohen of Welaka; three sisters, Mildred Goodwin and Alice Cohen, both of Enterprise, and Zylphia Peacock of Seville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

David Ralph Breakiron
DELTONA - David Ralph Breakiron, 73, of Cloverdale Street, died Nov. 13, 1998, at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.
Mr. Breakiron retired as a printer for the U.S. Government Printing Office and the West Virginia University Medical Center. While he continued to live in his hometown of Morgantown, W.Va., part of the year, he had been a winter resident of West Volusia since 1989.
He was a member of Woodland Methodist Church in Morgantown and attended First United Methodist Church of Deltona.
Mr. Breakiron served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He sang in the Great Lakes Navy Choir.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; a daughter, Rebecca J. Kern of DeBary; two sisters, Josephine Sturm and Betty J. Breakiron, both of Fairmont, W.Va.; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

DELAND - Pamela A. Carey, 61, of Garden Street, died Nov. 13, 1998, at her home.
A homemaker, Mrs. Carey was born in Newton, N.J., and moved to this area in 1983 from New Jersey.

DELAND - Stephanie Ann D. Carreon, 19, of Cliff Street, died Nov. 9, 1998, at Florida Hospital-South in Orlando.
Miss Carreon was a student at the University of Central Florida. Born in Middlesex, New Brunswick, N.J., she moved to this area 12 years ago from Bridgewater, N.J.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand, the International Baccalaureate Club at DeLand High School and the International Baccalaureate. She loved to play piano.
Miss Carreon is survived by her parents, Angel and Lina Carreon of DeLand; a sister, Marie Antoinette of DeLand; and her paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Pat Carreon of the Philippines.

DEBARY - Constance deFerrari, 88, of Lantana Drive, died Nov. 6, 1998, at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.
A homemaker, Mrs. deFerrari was born in Baldwin, Long Island, N.Y., and moved to this area from New Jersey in 1976.
She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in DeBary.
Mrs. deFerrari is survived by her husband, Paul, a son, Paul V. deFerrari of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Louise Elizabeth Harde
DELAND - Louise Elizabeth Harde, 92, of Chipola Avenue, died Nov. 11, 1998, at her home.
Mrs. Harde retired as an executive secretary for Simplicity Pattern Co. in her hometown of New York City. She moved to this area in 1973 from Teaneck, N.J.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of DeBary.
Mrs. Harde is survived by a nephew who provided for her care, John Muller of Vermont.

Marie Hawkins
HICKORY, N.C. - Marie Hawkins, 86, a former DeLand resident, died Nov. 8, 1998, at Catawba Memorial Hospital in Conover, N.C.
Born in Cleveland, Tenn., Mrs. Hawkins moved to the DeLand area from Rockwood, Tenn., in 1957, and lived here until 1995, when she moved to Hickory.
She was a former member of Southside Baptist Church in DeLand and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Rockwood. She was an excellent seamstress and loved bowling.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by two sons, Bob of Gainesville, Ga., and Harry of Hickory; a daughter, Mary Green of Oakwood, Ga.; three sisters, Louise Williams of Oakhurst, Calif., and Sue Brogdon and Janette Lamb, both of Chattanooga, Tenn.

DELAND - Elizabeth K. "Betty" Lauderman, 82, of Mulberry Lane, died Nov. 11, 1998, at Memorial Hospital-West Volusia.
Mrs. Lauderman retired in 1975 as an elementary school teacher at Madison Park Elementary School in Trotwood, Ohio. Born in Lexington, Ohio, she moved to this area from Dayton, Ohio, in 1977.
She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ of Orange City, where she was a member of the Sew & So's Women's Group. She was past state president of the Church Women's Group. She was also a member of the American Association of University Women, the PEO Sorority and the "People Talk About It Club," a book discussion group at the DeLand Area Public Library. She was a volunteer for Memorial Hospital-West Volusia.
Mrs. Lauderman received her R.N. in 1937 from Miami Valley Hospital and her bachelor of science in education in 1968 from Wright State University.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Raymond "Ray"; a son and daughter-in-law, David N. Lauderman and Susie Reaver of Powell, Wyo.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Gay and James Amos of Centerville, Ohio, Jane and Robert Bush of Vandalia, Ohio, Carol and Thomas Hardwick of Union, Ohio, and Eileen and George Hupp of Montgomery, Ohio; a brother, Richard Chatterton of Hartford, Conn.; a sister, Ruth Frank of Lincoln, N.H.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, George A. Jr. of DeLand, John C. of Pierson, and William F. of Georgetown; a daughter, Ann E. Foskey of Pierson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

James 'Buddy' St. Johns
DELAND - James "Buddy" St. Johns, 55, of Lake Gertie Road, died Nov. 15, 1998, at his home.
Mr. St. Johns was the owner and operator of St. Johns Concrete Inc. in DeLand for more than 30 years. He was a lifelong resident of his hometown of DeLand.
He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Chapter 1126 of DeLand. He enjoyed playing golf.
Mr. St. Johns served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; a son, Richard Allen Goodson of Lake Helen; a stepson, Chris Hall of DeLand; two stepdaughters, Melanie and Misty Hall, both of DeLand; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Sirico retired as owner of an automobile dealership in Valley Stream, N.Y. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to this area from Marietta, Ga., in 1997.
He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in DeBary.
Mr. Sirico served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Yolanda; two sons, Frank and Peter, both of DeBary; two brothers, Ralph of Naples, and Al of Deltona; a sister, Mildred Ferrentino of Deltona; and four grandchildren.

OCALA - Howard E. Smith, 92, a former Orange City resident, died Nov. 14, 1998, at a care center in Ocala.
Mr. Smith retired as a draftsman for Chevron Oil Co. Born in South Plainfield, N.J., he moved to Orange City from New Jersey in 1974, then to Ocala in 1994.
He was a member of the Middlesex County Civic Band and the Liberty Band in Plainfield, N.J., and a longtime member of the DeLand Slides barbershop chorus.
Mr. Smith is survived by a son, Douglas R. of Newton, Tenn., a daughter, Edna deLeon of Belleview, a brother, Ellis of New York, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

DELTONA - Jeanne Blanche Weigel, 74, of West Chapel Drive, died Nov. 13, 1998, at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.
Mrs. Weigel retired as a secretary for Nassua County Public Schools, where she worked for the New Hyde Park Memorial High School guidance department. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she moved to this area from Long Island, N.Y., in 1981.
She was a member and past secretary of the Women's Auxiliary of Deltona Elks Lodge 2793, secretary for the local scleroderma chapter, a former member of the Deltona Woman's Club and a volunteer for Volusia County Public Schools. A lover of nature, she was an avid stamp collector.
Mrs. Weigel is survived by her husband of 53 years, Helmut; two sons, Paul of Edmond, Okla., and Philip of Henrico, N.C.; a daughter, Janet Marie Ferraro of Commack, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Whitworth retired in 1972 as a schoolteacher for Pittsburgh city schools after more than 30 years. She moved to this area in 1973 from her hometown of Pittsburgh.
She was a member of the Local Hobby Group, the Frick Alumna Group, Pittsburgh Retired Teachers and First Presbyterian Church of DeBary, where she was a co-founder of the Ruhl and Edna Whitworth Library. She was an honorary life member and past president of the Presbyterian Women's Rebekah Circle. She received a master's degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Whitworth is survived by her husband of 52 years, A. Ruhl, a daughter, Janis R. Whitworth of Bethel, Maine, and two grandchildren.
