PLEASANT GAP — Ila N. “Tot” Lee, 91, of Pleasant Gap, formerly of Nittany, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001 at The Oaks at Pleasant Gap.
Born April 20, 1909, she was the daughter of the late W. Boyd and Mary Heltman Heckman. She was a 1927 graduate of Walker Township School and attended Williamsport SecretCourier School.
She and her husband, R. Nevin Lee, were married in Lock Haven on Nov. 14, 1931. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1988.

Born May 8, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles and Annie Kessinger Smith.

SMETHPORT — Anna D. Foringer, 79, of 410 E. Water St., Smethport, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001 in Sena-Kean Manor. She had numerous relatives in the greater Mill Hall area.
Born June 2, 1921 in Smethport, she was the daughter of Roy and Katherine Fields Dickinson.
She married Merrill E. Foringer on Nov. 23, 1938, in East Smethport. He died April 24, 1984.

JERSEY SHORE — Helen G. Brown, 95, formerly of 253 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001 at ManorCare Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born July 26, 1905 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Charles P. King and the former Bessie Baltzer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Brown, on Oct. 15, 1971.

LOCK HAVEN — Horace W. “Lefty” Lovelace, 80, of 1 Boardman Lane, Woolrich, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 in the Lock Haven Hospital.
Born July 8, 1920 in Brooklawn, N.J., he was the son of the late Robert M. and Iva Wood Lovelace.
He and his wife, the former Lois Seltzer, were united in marriage Nov. 12, 1988. She survives.

WILLIAMSPORT — Howard C. Ulmer, 84, of 9463 N. Route 220 Highway, Jersey Shore, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 in Rose View Center, Williamsport.
Born April 25, 1916 in Salladasburg, he was the son of the late Jacob D. and Inez B. Williamson Ulmer.
Mr. Ulmer had been employed by Avco Lycoming, Piper Aircraft Corp. and The Motor Mart. Most of his life, he was a self-employed carpenter.
He attended Maranatha Bible Church.
His wife, the former Lora E. Persun, survives.

Born March 13, 1905 in Mill Hall, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sally Johnson Williams. She was a graduate of the Lock Haven Normal School.
She and her husband, Charles M. Long, were united in marriage Sept. 3, 1927. He preceded her in death May 19, 1961.

Born March 2, 1908 in Smethport, she was the daughter of the late Peter S. Bloometer and the former Mary Traynor.
She and her husband, Paul J. Egan, were united in marriage Jan. 30, 1930. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1988.

Born Aug. 24, 1915 in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Boyd and Grace Tressler Corl.
He and his wife, Ruth M. Hogencamp, were united in marriage Dec. 25, 1937 in Milesburg. She survives.

WILLIAMSPORT — Fronce Wayne Vance, 86, of 1990 Princeton Ave., Williamsport, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 in Williamsport. He is survived by a daughter, Gloria Stinson of Mill Hill.
Mr. Vance was married to the former Ruth B. Bush for 54 years. She preceded him in death Aug. 30, 1994.
