Caroline B. Grieco,

WILLIAMSPORT — Caroline B. Grieco, 83, of 926 Hollywood Circle, Williamsport, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in Williamsport.
Born Oct. 9, 1917 in Rote, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Vergie Caris Brown.
She was married to Dr. Victor F. Grieco. He preceded her in death July 25, 1981.
Mrs. Grieco was a graduate of Lock Haven Teachers College and served as past alumni chairman of Lock Haven University.
She was a school teacher in Emporium, Sinnemahoning and Lock Haven high schools.
Mrs. Grieco was a member and honorary president of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and a past president of the Lycoming County Medical Society Alliance and Pennsylvania Medical Gavel Club. She also belonged to the Williamsport Hospital Auxiliary, the Divine Providence Hospital Auxiliary, the Clio Club, the Williamsport Woman’s Club, the Lycoming County Historical Society, the Lycoming County SPCA, and the Friends of the James V. Brown Library.
She was a member of the Church of Annuciation, Williamsport.
Survivors include a son, William F. Grieco of West Chester; two daughters, Susan M. Grieco and Victoria G. Anderton, both of Williamsport; two sisters, Violet Henry and Marguerite Brown, both of Lock Haven and six grandchildren.

Ronald C. Kramer,

FLEMINGTON — Ronald C. Kramer, 53, of 545 Huston St., Flemington, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in his home.
Born Nov. 19, 1947 in Flemington, he was the son of the late Paul and Doris Walker Kramer. He was a 1965 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
He was married to Kathleen S. Van Emon Kramer. She survives.
Mr. Kramer worked at Jersey Shore Steel Co. in the maintenance department.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lock Haven, and served as a councilman for Flemington Borough.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Brian W. Kramer of Mill Hall, Brad L. Kramer of Rhode Island and Mark L. Kramer of Lock Haven; a half-brother, Richard Conklin of Flemington; three sisters, Alice Dolan of Rote, Pauline Resides of Williamsport and Emily Hill of Beech Creek; a half-sister, Betty Lou Herman of Swissdale; and three grandchildren.

LOCK HAVEN — Lois A. Pinelli, 76, a guest of Susque-View Home, Lock Haven, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in the Lock Haven Hospital.
Born Aug. 6, 1924 in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Rachel Snyder Fecker. She was a 1942 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She and her husband, Francis X. (Mike) Pinelli, were united in marriage on Oct. 29, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1980.

SOUTH RENOVO — C. Joseph Labant, 64, of Cross Fork, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 in Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo.
Born July 11, 1936 in Renovo, he was the son of Isola Heinrich Labant of Lock Haven and the late George Labant Sr.
He and his wife, Karen M. Mead Labant, were united in marriage on Oct. 31, 1959. She survives.

PITTSBURGH — LaRue Pugh, 63, of 525 Farwell Ave., Renovo, died at 9:15 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2001, in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, where he had been a patient since suffering injuries in a traffic accident on March 1.
He was born Oct. 6, 1937 in Magoffin County, Ky., a son of the late Rev. Kern and Kathleen Bailey Pugh.
He and his wife, Violet Ruth Englert Pugh, were united in marriage on March 17, 1959 at Lowry Air Force Base, Colo. She survives.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Jane B. Humphreys, 78, of Charleston, S.C., died Sunday, March 25, 2001 in Charleston.
Born Sept. 10, 1922 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Harrison and Clara (Midnight) Bardo.
Her husband of 42 years, Victor Theodore Humphreys, preceded her in death in August 2000.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jersey Shore. Burial will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 1941 Savage Road, Suite 200A, Charleston, S.C., 29407, or to the Arthritis Foundation, 5019 Nations Crossing, Suite 217, Charlotte, N.C. 28217.

Born Feb. 13, 1914 in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of the late G. Calvin Kling and Emma Smith Kling. She was a 1931 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was married to Fenton H. Caldwell, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1993.

Born May 10, 1903 in Eastville, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Sadie Brungard Brunner.
She was married to John H. Condo, who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1974.

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Word has been received of the death of Velda Shields “Mimsy” Mims, 74, formerly of Jersey Shore, who died Saturday, March 27, 2001, in Sharp Hospital in Chula Vista, Calif.
Born Jan. 1, 1927 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Claire R. Forcey Shields.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31, in Mountain View Alliance Church, Cemetery and Spruce streets, Jersey Shore, with the Rev. Edgar Manns officiating.

McMINNVILLE, Ore. — Margaret Smart Nonemaker, 82, formerly of Castanea, died Sunday, March 25, 2001 in Alterra Wynwood Care Center, McMinnville, Ore. She had resided in Oregon for the last three years.
Born May 25, 1918 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Arthur (Ted) and Myrtle Sheats Smart.
Mrs. Nonemaker attended the Philadelphia School for the Deaf, the Lock Haven Elementary Schools, and was a 1939 graduate of the former Lock Haven High School.
She and her husband, Robert Nonemaker, were married in 1940. They separated in 1977. He survives.

She was married to Anthony F. Peluso, who preceded her in death May 3, 1959.

Born Aug. 31, 1918 in Loganton, he was the son of the late John and Katie Hopple Duck.
He and his wife, the former Dorothy Mae Winner, were married April 23, 1955. She survives.

She was married to Louis B. Rader on July 21, 1948 in Maryland. He preceded her in death Nov. 27, 2000.

Born Dec. 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Loren and Mary Peters Scantlin.
She and James E. Mayes were married on June 7, 1942. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1982.
