Ruth Welshans Philabaum,

PASADENA, Calif. Ruth Welshans Philabaum, 83, of Pasadena, Calif., died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, after a four-and-a-half-year battle with bone marrow cancer.
Born April 14, 1917, she was the eldest daughter of the late Darrel and Lucy (Mantle) Welshans of the Welshans Fruit Farm in Nippenose Valley.
She graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1935 and attended Williamsport Commercial College.
She was active in church and local events in the Jersey Shore area until she moved to California with her family in 1947. She was active in Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena for more than 50 years.
She and Raymond E. Philabaum were married Dec. 31, 1955 in Pasadena. He preceded her in death in 1981.

JERSEY SHORE Neil Feerrar, 79, of 240 Shady Lane, Jersey Shore, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001 in the Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born Oct. 7, 1921 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Feerrar and the former Susan Gilbraith.
He is survived by his wife, the former Madalyn Shadle. They were united in marriage May 27, 1945 in the Saint John Lutheran Church, Jersey Shore.

Born Feb. 22, 1917 in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of the late Howard E. and Georgia Bryington Ludwig.

ALBANY, N.Y. Nancy V. Severino Riviello, 92, died suddenly Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001 in the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, Albany, N.Y.
Born in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Philomena Perri Severino. She was married to Charles P. Riviello. He preceded her in death in 1969.
Mrs. Riviello retired from the Barbizon Shop in Albany.
She was a volunteer at the Westview Center and a member of the Rosary Society at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Her husband, John, of Rotterdam, N.Y, survives. A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany, N.Y. Interment
will be in the Mass of Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church, or the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, N.Y., 12203.

WILLIAMSPORT Margaret Maxine Robinson, 78, of Loganton, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001 in the Williamsport Hospital, after a long, hard fight with cancer.
Born March 13, 1922 in Loganton, she was the daughter of the late Lester Condo and the former Mildred Mae Bicksler.
She was a graduate of Renovo High School and of the Edward Mayer Memorial Hospital Training School for Nurses, Buffalo, N.Y. She was a registered nurse in New York and Pennsylvania.
She was married to Raymond Robinson on May 23, 1946. He preceded her in death.
She and her husband owned and operated the Florida Farm and the Whippoorwill Dairy Farm, both in Sugar Valley.

Born Nov. 28, 1913 in Hollidaysburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Alice Mattern Smith. She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
She and her husband, Thomas B. Hays, were united in marriage March 15, 1945. He survives.

Born Dec. 30, 1921 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Amanda (Lyons) Randecker. She was a 1941 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was married to Oliver G. Bower. He preceded her in death in 1976.

Born Nov. 22, 1937 in Logan Township, she was the daughter of the late George Kerstetter and Adelia Heckman Kerstetter. She graduated from Sugar Valley High School in 1955.
She and her husband, Ronald E. Douty, were united in marriage June 1, 1956. He survives.

Born on July 31, 1924, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Lorenzo E. and Alma Ergott Wurster. She was a 1943 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.
She retired from Avco, now Textron-Lycoming, after many years of service.
A memorial service will be held March 16 at 1 p.m. in the Woolrich Community United Methodist Church.

Born March 15, 1914 in Howard, he was the son of the late Earl and Lillian Bland Lowery. He was a 1932 graduate of Howard High School.
He was united in marriage to the former Laura F. Miller on March 25, 1935. He preceded him in death on Feb. 28, 1991.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Aikey, on July 12, 1984.
