Tyler James Klein, five-month-old son of Jason and Mya Klein of Milton, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, in Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg. He is survived by a two-year-old brother Dylan; grandparents, Robert and Patricia Klein of Loganton and Byron and Lois Barrows of Milton; three great-grandmothers; a great-grandfather; three aunts and an uncle.

Mrs. Ruth E. Schreckengast, 97, formerly of 29 Anthony St., Loganton, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in the Sycamore Manor in Montoursville.
Born June 6, 1904 in Loganton, she was the daughter of Luther E. Best and the former Lizzie V. Zimmerman.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, at 11 a.m., in the Saint Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6 W. Main St., Loganton. Grant I. Lupold, 86, of R.R. 1 Jersey Shore, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at ManorCare in Jersey Shore, where he had been a guest for one month.
He was born Jan. 13, 1915, one of 11 children of Harvey and Carrie Barner Lupold.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, from the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, a “Life Celebration Home,” 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, with his pastor, Rev. Pearl Maxine Grenell, 83, of 708 Ontario Ave., Renovo, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at the Lock Haven Hospital.
She was born Aug. 19, 1918, the daughter of the late Harold Clifford and Gertrude Benshaw Rhodes.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, at 11 a.m., at the First Methodist Church, 127 Seventh St., Renovo, with the Rev. Marie E. Lewis officiating. Friends will be received Thursday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Private burial services for family members will be at the North Bend Cemetery. A luncheon will be at the church following services. Skyler Lee Boring, infant son of Alicia A. and Scott A. Boring of Central Avenue, Avis, died at birth in the Williamsport Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001.
He is survived by a brother, Trevor A., and a sister, Alyssa R. Boring, both at home; maternal grandparents, Ben and Faith Benway of Woolrich; paternal grandfather, Terry Boring of Jersey Shore; paternal grandmother, Judy Schultz of Hughesville; and paternal great-grandparents, Louis and Betty Steppe of Williamsport.

Born Aug. 4, 1910 in Clintondale, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Leah Anna Catherine (Dorman) Waltz.

Harry R. “Buck” Felmy, 75, died Sunday at Susque-View Home in Lock Haven, where he had been a guest for two years. He was formerly of Jersey Shore.
He was born Nov. 10, 1926 in Avis, a son of John and Hazel Fowler Felmy.

Mr. Lee H. Eckel, 58, of 490 Campground Road, Loganton, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 in Logan Township as a result of injuries after being struck by a car.
Born Dec. 30, 1942 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late H.H. Eckel and the former Ruth L. Beck, also deceased.
Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 12, 2001 at 1 p.m. in Saint Johns Lutheran Church in Loganton. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Main and Water streets, Loganton, and from noon Monday until the time of services, in the church. Burial will be in the Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Loganton. The Rev. Pamela Marie Hayes Richardson, 42, of Stafford, Va., died at her home on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001.
She was born in Williamsport on Feb. 25, 1959, the daughter of Betty J. (Nesman) Hayes of North Bend and the late Leo H Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, at 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Steven Brauner officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery at the family’s convenience. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Donald E. Wilkins
Donald E. Wilkins, 68, of 426 Irwin St., Lock Haven, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at his residence. He had been in failing health.
Mr. Wilkins was born in Dalmatia on Jan. 1, 1933, the son of the late Joseph and Ethel Emerick Wilkins.
He was united in marriage, May 23, 1953, in Lock Haven to Sallee Ricker Wilkins, who survives.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, with the Rev. James VanZandt officiating.
Interment
will be in Linnwood Cemetery, McElhattan. Friends will be received in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven on Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m., and one hour prior to the services at the church on Sunday. Memorials will be accepted to the donor’s favorite charity through the funeral home.

Dorothy (nee Heck) Biernesser of Renovo, died Nov. 3, 2001.
She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Biernesser, devoted mother of Charles “Butch” (Kristina) Biernesser of Buffalo and Sandy Girardi of Homestead, Fla.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at North Bend Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Hospice for loving and devoted care.
Linda Lea (Anderson) Grenell
Linda Lea (Anderson) Grenell, 60, of Bitumen, died on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001 at Centre Community Hospital.
She was born in Renovo on April 14, 1941, the daughter of the late Berger and Marie (Greene) Anderson. I leave behind my husband and soulmate, Richard “Dick” Grenell, whom I married on July 25, 1959 in Renovo. Funeral services will be at the First United Methodist Church, Seventh Street, Renovo, at 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor John Godissart officiating. Burial will follow in the North Bend Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205, Fifth St., Renovo, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening. The family will provide flowers and requests that donations be made in her memory to Von Willbrands Research, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or cancer research through the funeral home.

Marcia P. Musser, 75, of Palatka, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Putnam Community Medical Center, after a long illness.
She was born Aug. 18, 1926 in Lock Haven, and had lived in Palatka for 27 years.
Her husband of 53 years, Ralph C. Musser of Palatka, survives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Dunnstown Cemetery, with Rev. Neil R. Dady officiating.
Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka is in charge of arrangements.

Glenn Charles Englert, 52, of Sagamore Hills, Woolrich, died Oct. 31, 2001 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 21, 1949 in Lock Haven and was the son of the late C. Clifford and Vivian Myers Englert.
Funeral services for Glenn Charles Englert will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be the Rev. Norman Evans of the Woolrich Community United Methodist Church. Interment

Guy P. Lizotte, 90, formerly of East Ninth Street, Clearfield, and most recently of Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in Clearfield Hospital.
Born March 13, 1911 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of the late Eber L. and Agnes C. (Harrison) Lizotte.
His wife, Gladys L. (Bennett) Lizotte, whom he married May 17, 1939, survives. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at 10 a.m., in the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield. The Rev. Thomas E. Darr will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday in the funeral home.

Kathleen E. Knepp of Chatham Village in McElhattan, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born Jan. 16, 1917 in Wallaceton, she was the daughter of Frank Merritt and the former Effie Mae Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Knepp Sr. on April 4, 1997. They were united in marriage on Dec. 25, 1934 in Wallaceton.

Beverly J. Fryer, 70, of R.R. 1 Jersey Shore, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born March 19, 1931 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Clyde Signor and the former Roberta Hummer.
She is survived by her husband, Dale E. Fryer. They were united in marriage April 23, 1949.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at 1 p.m., in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bellevue Cemetery in Avis. Rev. Joyce Gensib will officiate.

Joseph Daniel Ryan, 74, of Marshall, Ill., passed away at 6 p.m., Nov. 2, 2001, in the Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall, Ill.
He was born Nov. 12, 1926 in Lock Haven, to Harry John and Linnetta (Beck) Ryan, the youngest of 12 children.
He married Rosalie Isabelle Buckle on March 1, 1947 in Lock Haven, she survives.
Services will be at the Pearce Funeral Home, South Sixth Street, Marshall, Ill., on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Gene Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Auburn Cemetery with military graveside rites by Clark County Post 90 of the American Legion and VFW Post 5975. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 7 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Elizabeth (Betty) E. Watkins, 71, of 4185 Long Run Road, Loganton, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001 at her home.
Born in Salona on Oct. 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alta Rine Weaver.
She graduated from Mill Hall High School in 1949. She married Duane Watkins, who preceded her in death in 1982.

Dorothy M. Butler, 73, of 102 E. Church St., Lock Haven, died Oct. 30, 2001, at the Lock Haven Hospital. She had been in failing health a short time.
She was born April 30, 1928 in Curtin.
Her husband, Mr. Charles M. Butler of Lock Haven, survives. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence C. Miller.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m., in the Lock Haven Salvation Army, 119 E. Church St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Maj. Leslie Hilty. Burial will at the convenience of the family.

James L. Costella Jr.
James L. Costella Jr., 92, of Lock Haven, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, in the intensive care unit of the Lock Haven Hospital.
He was born Feb. 25, 1909 in Staten Island, N.Y., the son of the late James L. and Mary Collins Costella.
On June 21, 1941, he married Margaret Mary Hanna, who preceded him in death on April 30, 1997.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Daniel O’Neill as celebrant. Friends will be received at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington, on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Angeline B. (Mae) Manno, 84, of 360 E. Park St., Lock Haven, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, in her home.
Born May 11, 1917 in Mill Hall, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose Dicello Bonadio.
She attended school in Mill Hall.
On June 25, 1938 at St. Agnes Church, Lock Haven, she married Ralph P. Manno, who died Jan. 21, 1985.
A Funeral Mass will be at St. Agnes Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Thursday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. Celebrant will be Rev. Neil R. Dadey. Committal will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Moriarty-Dutcavich Funeral Home, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a Vigil of the Deceased at 3 p.m. and an Alpine Star Lodge service at 7:30 p.m.

Eleanor Louise Burroughs Kravcov, 71, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on Oct. 28, 2001, in Phoenix, after a more-than-two-year battle with advanced colon cancer.
She was born in Harrisburg on Sept. 28, 1930, the daughter of George Earle Burroughs of Van Buren, Belleville, and Dundee, Mich., later of New York City and Pennsylvania. She married Frederick Kravcov in Washington, D.C., and Madrid, Spain.
Arrangements are being handled by Hansen Mortuaries in Scottsdale, Ariz. and Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Interment
will be in the family plot in Dunnstown Cemetery, with graveside services 1 p.m. Thursday.

E. Lucille “Mouse” Cohick, 75, of Salladasburg, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at ManorCare in Jersey Shore, where she had been a guest since June.
She was born in Williamsport, July 23, 1926, a daughter of Joseph A. and Mary Alta Smith Berry.
She graduated from Williamsport High School and married James LaRue “Bud” Cohick on May 17, 1948, he survives.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, from the Salladasburg United Methodist Church, with Revs. Lloyd Shellenberger and Thomas J. Fetterolf officiating. He and his wife, the former Cheryl G. Sutliff, were married Oct. 26, 1968, she survives.

Born July 7, 1925 in Schellsburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Flora Askins Pursel.
She was married to Clyde H. Streck on Nov. 9, 1944 in Lock Haven, who survives at home.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thomas Dershem will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall. There will be no public visitation.

She was united in marriage to Melvin M. Blackwell in October 1935. He preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 1999.
