Emma Y. Lamey, 91, of 2480 Wood Meadow Drive, Marietta, Ga., died Tuesday, June 26, 2001 in Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Ga.
Born Oct. 18, 1909 in Salona, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Flora M. Yarnell Whiting.
She was married to John H. Lamey. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1997.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. The Rev. Frank Hartzel will officiate. Interment
will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of the flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salona United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington.

Robert E. Nonemaker, 80, of McClintock Drive, Salona, died Monday, June 25, 2001 at Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit.
He was born July 29, 1920 in Lock Haven, a son of the late Arthur G. and Edna Poorman.
He married the former Margaret L. Smart on March 31, 1940 in Lock Haven. They later separated. She preceded him in death on April 25, 2001.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28, at 11 a.m. in the Helt Hanna Kline Funeral Home, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Private interment
will be in Dunnstown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Laura V. (Newman) Shady
Laura V. (Newman) Shady, 87, of Huggins Road, Duncannon, died Monday, June 25, 2001 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Aug. 9, 1913 in Phillipsburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Hannah Newman.
She was married to the late LeRoy R. Shady. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1985.
Graveside services will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Gouak officiating. Helt Hanna Kline Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

H. Eugene Smith, 79, of R.R. 1 Lock Haven, who died June 17, 2001 in the Jersey Shore Hospital, was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Thea Ruth Deihl, on Dec. 25, 1978.
Margaret Sutton Hunting
Margaret Sutton Hunting, 98, died June 21, 2001 in the Lock Haven Hospital.
She was born Jan. 22, 1903 in Odin, and named Rachel Beebe. She was the daughter of Victor and Estella Andrews Beebe.
She was first married to William Sutton, now deceased, and later to Everett Hunting, who also preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held in Freeport, N.Y. on July 14, 2001 at 3 p.m. A service will also be held in Coudersport in October.

Werner Henry Barth, 81, of Salisbury, N.C., died Monday, June 25, 2001, in the V.A. Hospital in Salisbury.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jo Raley Barth.
Funeral arrangements are with Summersett Funeral Home in Salisbury, N.C. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Private services will be held for the family.

Thomas E. Gummo Jr.
Thomas Earl (Stump) Gummo Jr., 82, of Nittany, died Saturday, June 23, 2001 in Lock Haven Hospital.
Born Dec. 2, 1918 in Nittany, he was the son of the late Thomas Earl Sr. and Nellie Rogers Gummo.
He was married to Eva M. Harter on March 17, 1940 in Zion. She preceded him in death April 7, 2000.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 in the W. Robert Neff Funeral Home, 837 Main St., Howard. The Rev. Warren G. Somers Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to services. Masonic services will be at 2:45 p.m.

Marie Livingston, 93, formerly of Mt. Pleasant Ave., Jersey Shore, died Friday at River Woods in Lewisburg, where she was a guest for three weeks.
She was born Dec. 19, 1907 in Jersey Shore, a daughter of John and Nellie Earon Eckert.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, with Rev. Steven A. Brauner officiating. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Her family suggests contributions be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore, Pa. 17740 or the charity of your choice.
Eva R. Schmouder
Mrs. Eva R. Schmouder, 79, of White Pine, died Saturday evening, June 23, 2001 in ManorCare North Health Center, Williamsport.
Born Jan. 17, 1922 in Beech Grove, she was the daughter of William Roupp and the former Ruth Letson.
She was united in marriage Nov. 24, 1943 to Carl L. Schmouder. He preceded her in death July 17, 1977.

Frank A. Gillott, 83, of 360 E. Park St., Lock Haven, died Saturday, June 23, 2001 in his residence.
Born Sept. 20, 1917 in Corning, N.Y., he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose Bonady Gillott.
He was a 1936 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On Sept. 7, 1936 in St. Agnes Church, Lock Haven, he married Philomena DeGeso, who died on Jan. 19, 1990.
A Funeral Mass will be at St. Agnes Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Tuesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. Celebrant will be Rev. Dominic Thomas. Committal will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. The Moriarty-Dutcavich Funeral Home announces there will be no visitation.

John H. Hamon Sr., a Philadelphia resident, formerly of Lock Haven, died Monday, June 18, 2001 in Philadelphia.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001, in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lock Haven.

David W. Decker Jr.
David W. Decker Jr., 53, of 7851 Crofton Dr., Parsonburg, Md., formerly of Hogan Boulevard, Mill Hall, died at 9:30 p.m., June 21. He had been battling liver cancer for the past five years.
Born July 14, 1947, he was the son of Dorothy Bathurst Decker and the late David W. Decker.
He was married in 1965 to the former Marianne Barbus who survives at home.
Services will be Tuesday, June 26, at the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, with burial in Salisbury, Md. Memorial contributions may be made to a local cancer society or church.

Donald H. Wagner, 80, of 2246 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, died Thursday, June 21, 2001 in the Lock Haven Hospital Emergency Room.
Born June 29, 1920 in McClure, he was the son of the late Hurley and Bessie Houser Wagner.
He was united in marriage June 29, 1946 to the former Geraldine J. Gummo. She survives at home.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family at the Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home, Mill Hall. The Rev. P. Franklin Hartzel Jr. will officiate. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans.
The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Rote United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
Harry G. Packer
Harry G. Packer, 79, of R.R. 1 Lock Haven, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at his residence. He had been in failing health.
He was born in Mill Hall, May 15, 1922 and was the son of the late Harry L. and Lulu Gramley Packer.
He was united in marriage Dec. 20, 1952 to Anna Wert Packer, who survives.
Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, June 24, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Dunnstable Township. There will be no visitation.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Clinton County VNA Health System or the Woolrich Fire Co. through the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
Olga H. Bruno
Olga H. Bruno, 85, of South Renovo, died at her residence on Wednesday, June 20, 2001.
She was born in Braddock on April 24, 1916, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Saduary) Mihalik.
Olga graduated from Braddock High School in 1934. On May 30, 1942, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Renovo, she married Earl F. Bruno, who preceded her in death on June 22, 1980.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Renovo at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2001 with Fr. Donald Boslett celebrating. Interment
will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Hyner. There will be no public visitation.
The family will provide the flowers and memorials are requested to St. Joseph Church in her memory.

Born Sept. 23, 1911 in Marsh Creek, she was the daughter of John Packer and the former Mabel McCloskey.
She was united in marriage Sept. 26, 1928, to Roy L. Berry. He preceded her in death July 15, 1976.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Geisewite will officiate.

Born March 22, 1912 in Renovo, he was the son of the late Lester W. and Anna A. Carlson Conway.
On Dec. 25, 1940 in Corning, N.Y., he married Dorothy I. Rylander, who died June 6, 1998.
Graveside committal service and burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Va. There will be no visitation.

Joseph N. Thompson, 75, of 320 Thompson St., Jersey Shore, died early Friday morning, June 15, 2001 in the Jersey Shore Hospital emergency room.
Born Nov. 7, 1925 in Cherry Tree, he was the son of John Thompson and the former Myra Cannon.
His wife, the former Sarah A. Bullock, survives.

Grace E. Matter, 89, of Loganton, died June 16, 2001 in the Lock Haven Extended Care Unit.
Born Oct. 15, 1911 in Greene Township, she was the daughter of the late Fred Brungard and Carrie Herman.
She was married to Reuben Matter on March 15, 1935. He preceded her in death.

Ethel M. Fisher, 91, of Valley View Street, Jersey Shore, died Sunday, June 17, 2001 in the Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born June 19, 1909 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Jacob Bailey and the former Leona Mae Yearson.
She was united in marriage on June 12, 1924 to Brady E. Thomas. He preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1961. She later married John F. Fisher, in 1969. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 21, 2001 at 10 a.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The Rev. Steven Brauner, her pastor, will officiate. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

She was married to James I. Newman. He preceded her in death in 1989.

She and her husband, Guy W. Korman, were united in marriage June 26, 1926.
He preceded her in death on April 2, 1987.

Born in Batavia, N.Y. on Sept. 9, 1926, she was a daughter of Ernest Mercury and Dorothy Trevesis Mercury.
On July 4, 1946, she was united in marriage to Hugh Wallace Jackson of Jersey Shore, who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1996.
