Ronald B. Rippey
Ronald Blaine Rippey, 65, a resident of Onancock, Va. for 20 years, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 in Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Va.
He was born in Lock Haven, a son of the late Howard and Hazel McCaslin Rippey.
He was married to Margaret Frantz Rippey. She survives.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Naomi Makemie Presbyterian Church, Onancock. Dr. Donald Broad will officiate.
A memorial service to be held in Lock Haven will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Williams-Onancock Funeral Home, Onancock.

Harry F. Keeler, 67, of 995 Canoe Run Road, Jersey Shore, died Saturday morning, June 2, 2001 in the Williamsport Hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1933 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of Ralph M. Keeler Sr. and the former Margaret E. Stabley.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ann Bierly. They were united in marriage Nov. 23, 1955.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date by the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. There will be no public visitation.
Hope M. Bonadio
Hope M. Bonadio, 78, of 11 S. Jones St., Lock Haven, died Friday, June 1, 2001 in the extended care unit of the Lock Haven Hospital.
Born June 3, 1922 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Jeanne Renzo Mancini.
On Nov. 23, 1946, in St. Agnes Church, she married Michael Bonadio who died on Oct. 17, 1983.
A Memorial Mass will be at St. Agnes Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Wednesday, June 6 at 9 a.m. Celebrant will be Rev. Neil R. Dadey. Committal will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Moriarty-Dutcavich Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Church through the funeral home.

Patrick L. Conway, 86, of North Bend, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Bucktail Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 1, 1914 in Renovo, a son of the late James and Ellen Hickey Conway.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Probst Conway. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, is in charge of the arrangements.

Brian D. Sharrow, 36, of 420 E. Water St., Lock Haven, died at his residence Saturday, May 26, 2001.
He was born July 26, 1964 in Williamsport, the son of the late Gary D. Sharrow and Kathleen Kisner Sharrow Morris of Williamsport. His mother survives.
Memorial services will be held Monday, June 4, 2001 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, officiated by the Rev. Theodore Cockley. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.

Otto A. Snyder, 84, of 1126 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at the Jersey Shore Hospital.
He was born in Jersey Shore, May 4, 1917, a son of Otto A. and Florence Margaret Stewart Snyder Sr.
He was married to the former Helen Popps on Feb. 19, 1945. She survives.

Geraldine Lucas
Geraldine Lucas, 98, of Williamsport, Md., died Wednesday, May 30, in Williamsport.
She was born in Jersey Shore, May 8, 1903, a daughter of Lancaster D. and Carrie Moffett Herritt.
In September of 1933, she married James H. Lucas, who died Sept. 23, 1997.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Jersey Shore, is handling arrangements.

Beverly E. Bathgate, 82, of Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, in Siedle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

Elizabeth I. Shady
Elizabeth Idella Shady, 79, formerly of 285 Bennage Ave., Lock Haven, died May 30, 2001, at Susque-View Home, where she had been a guest for the past four years. She had been in failing health.
She was born Nov. 8, 1921 in Lockport, and was the daughter of the late William C. And Edna May Shadle Merrill.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Maxwell Dean Hetzel, who died in 1944, and her second husband, Howard Miles Shady, who died May 22, 1982.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 2, 2001 at 11 a.m. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Rev. James VanZandt of the Covenant United Methodist Church. Interment
will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lamar Township. Friends will be received in the funeral home Saturday morning, one hour prior to the services.

George C. (Bud) Overdorf, 73, of 3365 Pine Mountain Road, Rauchtown, died Sunday, May 27, in Rauchtown.
He was born on the family farm in Rauchtown, Nov. 21, 1927, the only son of George Calvin and Sallie Nichols Overdorf.
He married the former Elizabeth (Libby) Bayshore on July 10, 1973.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Interment
will be in Limestone Cemetery, Rauchtown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Courtney D. Russell, of 262 Richner Hollow Road, Howard, six-month-old daughter of Richard J. Rice III of Transfer and Amber C. Russell of State College, died May 28, 2001, in Centre Community Hospital, State College.
She was born Nov. 25, 2000 in Centre Community Hospital.

He was born in Montgomery on March 17, 1954, a son of Robert E. and Betty Jane Grimm Wertz.

He was born in Williamsport on Feb. 21, 1961, a son of Gordon Rocky and Kathleen M. Overdorf Clark.

Calvin I. (Pap) Reeder, 74, of 400 Mackey Ave., Castanea, died May 27, 2001 in the Williamsport Hospital. He had been in failing health and entered Williamsport Hospital on May 26, 2001.
He was born Feb. 12, 1927 in Castanea, and was the son of the late Jesse E. and Mary McKeague Reeder.
Mr. Reeder was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Peter Reeder, who died April 2, 2000.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 31, 2001 at 11 a.m. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Rev. James VanZandt of the Covenant United Methodist Church, Lock Haven. Interment
will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Dunnstable Township. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Virginia R. (Dolly) Harer, 88, formerly of 314 Smith St., Jersey Shore, died Saturday, May 26, 2001 in the ManorCare Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born Nov. 27, 1912 in Larryville, she was the daughter of Jonas F. Decker and the former Elizabeth Duff.
She and her husband, Charles C. Harer, were united in marriage March 31, 1931 in Woolrich. He survives.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at 11 a.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

Born Sept. 22, 1975 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Terry N. Myers and the former Dorian E. Hollick.

Simon J. Willits, 90, of 701 Route 287 Highway, Jersey Shore, died Sunday, May 20 at his residence.
He was born in Salladasburg, Nov. 26, 1910, one of nine sons, to Thomas Harry and Mary Barbara Saur Willits.
He was married to the former Helen Myers who survives.

Born March 23, 1930 in Howard, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Olive Quay Schenck.

Born June 12, 1922 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Monica C. Bender Eichenlaub.
She attended school in Altoona.
On Aug. 16, 1947 in St. Agnes Church, she married Clifford H. Rhine, who died on May 2, 1989.
