Bruce A. Kreidler, 79, of 190 Fairway Drive, formerly of 7 Church St., Dunnstown, died May 22, 2001 in Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Dec. 30, 1921 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Boyd and Jennie Pringle Kreidler. He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1939.
He was married to Lois J. Kreidler who preceded him in death April 1, 2000.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2001 in the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington. Interment
will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Dunnstown United Methodist Church.

Shirley M. Boone, 74, of Lemont, formerly of Mill Hall, died Sunday, May 20, 2001 in Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.
Born June 12, 1926 in Clintondale, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Florence Butler Rossman.
She was married to Edward J. Boone on Feb. 11, 1946. He survives.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2001 in the W. Robert Neff Funeral Home, 837 Main St., Howard. The Rev. Carl E. Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Marion Township. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Leroy J. (Lee) Fulkrod, 52, of 211 Maple St., Jersey Shore, died Sunday, May 20, 2001 at the Heart Center Hospital in Washington, D.C.
He was born July 27, 1948 in Jersey Shore, a son of Samuel and Eva Spotts Fulkrod.
He was married to the former Jeanette Marie Fave on Nov. 5, 1966. She survives.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday from the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny, Jersey Shore, with his pastor, Rev. Edgar Manns, officiating. Interment
will be at the family’s convenience in Jersey Shore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Gearld E. Reed, 62, died Sunday, May 20, 2001 at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Bowen; his mother, Winifred Wolford of Jersey Shore; his father, Harlow Huggins of Nelson, N.Y. Visitation will be Tuesday at Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Route 645, Inez, Ky. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. The final resting place will be Fluty Lick , Buffalo Horn, Ky.
Joseph H. Bratton
Joseph H. Bratton, 66, of 229 Seventh St., Renovo, died Saturday, May 19, 2001 in Parma Hospital, Parma, Ohio.
He was born Oct. 25, 1934 in Renovo, a son of the late Joseph H. and Edith I. Weaver Bratton, Jr.
He and his wife, the former Marcella G. Bradney were married June 2, 1956 in Renovo. She survives at home. Funeral services will be Friday, May 25 at 1 p.m. at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, with the Rev. Ann Runnels officiating. Interment
will follow in the North Bend Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family will provide the flowers.

Helen E. Harrow, 74, of 1568 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, died Sunday, May 20, 2001 in her residence.
Born May 23, 1926 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Carson and Anna Klinefelter Askins.
She was married to Robert L. Harrow who died April 2, 1999.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. The Rev. Theodore L. Cockley will officiate. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Claire I. Livingston
Miss Claire Irene Livingston, 67, of 360 E. Park St., Lock Haven, died Monday, May 21, 2001 in the Williamsport Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 13, 1933 in Lock Haven, the daughter of Calvin and Lydia Ricker Livingston.
Arrangements will be handled by the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home in Flemington. There will be no visitation. A graveside memorial service in Rest Haven Memorial Park, will be Thursday, May 24 at 10 a.m. with her pastor, Michael Abernatha, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Claire asked that donations be made to the First Church of Christ.
Dayton E. Bliler
Dayton E. Bliler, 81, of Park Avenue, Woolrich, passed away May 21, 2001 at the Centre Community Hospital in State College. He had been in failing health for a short time.
Mr. Bliler was born in Woolrich, Jan. 24, 1920, and was the son of the William and Cora Bailey Bliler.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be the Rev. Norman A. Evans of the Woolrich Community United Methodist Church. Interment
will be in the Woolrich Cemetery, Pine Creek Township. Friends will be received in the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to the Woolrich Volunteer Fire Company or the Woolrich Community United Methodist Church through the funeral home.

Roy A. Vonada, 83, of Loganton (Greenburr), died May 19, 2001 in the Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit.
Born March 5, 1918 in Logan Township, he was the son of the late Fred and Elizabeth Geyer Vonada.
He was married to Hilda Vonada on Aug. 5, 1940. She survives.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 95 E. Main St., Loganton. The Rev. Kay Schwab of the Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment
will be in Trinity United Methodist Cemetery, Greenburr. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Eileen S. Myers, 87, formerly of Kephart Plaza, died May 18, 2001 in Lock Haven Hospital.
Born Oct. 6, 1913 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Earon and Bess Salmon.
She was married to George A. Myers. He died in 1983.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington. The Rev. Kenneth Page will officiate. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. James P. Knarr, 90, of Easton, died Friday, May 18, 2001 in Easton Hospital.
Born Jan. 24, 1911 in Juniata, he was the son of the late Daniel W. and Myrtle Faulkner Knarr.
His first wife, Beverly L. Evans, and his second wife, Helen L. Kepler, both preceded him in death.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Interment
will be in North Bend Cemetery.

Lera R. Stitzer, 97, a guest at ManorCare South, formerly of 303 E. Mountain Ave., South Williamsport, died Friday, May 18, 2001 at the Williamsport Hospital.
Born Oct. 23, 1903 in Salona, she was the daughter of Maurice and Kathryn Rute Brungard.
Her husband, Harry A. Stitzer, died Nov. 1, 1979.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Messiah Lutheran Church, South Williamsport, with her pastor, Rev. Robert L. Driesen, officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment

Born Oct. 5, 1919 in Woolrich, he was the son of the late Theodore and Nora Shope Catherman.
On Feb. 23, 1945 in Cumberland, Md., he married the former Betty L. Hendershot, who survives at home.

Isaac J. Peck Sr., 76, of Loganton (Booneville), died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 in Health South Pleasant Gap.
He was born in New York July 13, 1924, and he was a member of Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, the Teamsters and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
His spouse is Genevieve Knight Peck of Manor Care Jersey Shore.

Sue Stumpf McKnight
Sue Stumpf McKnight, 83, of Lock Haven, died peacefully at her residence at Foxdale Village, State College, on May 17, 2001.
She was born in Rome, N.Y, on Feb. 22, 1918, to the late Quay and Madge Truman Stumpf.
She began her teaching career at Kane High School, where she met and married a fellow teacher, Lawrence E. (Peck) McKnight. Mr. and Mrs. McKnight taught and lived in various school districts in central Pennsylvania, including Jamestown, Williamsport and Brookville.
A memorial service will be held at the Friends’ Meeting House in State College on Saturday, May 26 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be made in her memory to the State College Friends’ School, 1900 University Drive, State College, Pa. 16801.

She was a daughter of the late Roland and Ida Gardner Butler, and was married to the late Thomas Butler.

Gabriel F. (Gabe) (Pinkey) Dascanio, 72, of Ormond Beach, Fla., died Sunday, May 13, 2001 at Memorial Hospital in Volusia County, Fla.
He was born in Renovo on Dec. 29, 1928, the son of the late Patsy and Antoinette Dascanio.
In 1959, he married the former Rosemary Renehan, who survives. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Donald Boslett officiating. The family will receive friends at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

John (Ed) Donovan, 90, of 21 Woodward Meadows, Lock Haven, died Monday, May 14, 2001 in his residence.
Born March 21, 1911 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late Daniel E. and Cora Hoover Donovan.
He was a 1931 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.
On Aug. 11, 1934 in Springfield, he married E. Faye Passell. She survives.
Private funeral services will be at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ and interment
will at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Moriarty-Dutcavich Funeral Home of Lock Haven.

Born July 18, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Nedoa Petro.
She was married to Dale S. Daubert on July 18, 1953 in Wilkes-Barre. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1985.
A homemaker, she worked with her husband in the operation of the Dale S. Daubert Funeral Home, Renovo, from 1971 until his death in 1985. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on May 19, 2001 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Renovo. The Rev. Donald E. Boslett, her pastor, will officiate. Interment
will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dallas. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
