Thomas Alexander, III, 43, of Pensacola, died suddenly Sunday, November 14, 1999, at a local hospital.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Hope Alexander; mother, Mary Alice Alexander of Pensacola; mother-in-law, Christine Hethington of Pensacola; a sister, Gwendolyn Shaw of Detroit, Mich.; sister-in-law, Sonja (Roy) Albritton of Pensacola; brother-in-law, Christopher (Janice) Jones of Houston, Texas; three uncles, Paul Lewis of California, Lorenzo Lewis of Detroit, Mich. and Ishmeal Lewis of Pensacola; special friends, Martin Davis of New Orleans, La. and Herbert Barr of Washington, D.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews and family members.
Services at 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 19, 1999 at First Baptist Church Warrington with Rev. Franklin officiating.
Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery.

MONETT HALSTEAD BOOKER
Monett Halstead Booker, 93, of Pensacola, died Monday, November 15, 1999.
Mrs. Booker was a native of Boggy Bayou, Fla. and a life long resident of Northwest Florida.
Her son, Joel Halstead, preceded Mrs. Booker in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Billie Ruth Campbell; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. and Dorothy Halstead, all of Pensacola; 12 grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 19, 1999 at 1 p.m. in Eastern Gate Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Gentry officiating.
Burial will be in Easter Gate Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
EASTERN GATE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

TEANA CAUDELL
Teana Caudell, 29, of Pensacola, died Monday, November 15, 1999, at her home.
She is survived by her son, Currin Caudell; mother, Deanna Bryant; father, Scot Poelvorde; grandparents, Les and Joy Anderson; fiancee', Robert Reid; and aunt, Patricia Kuehl.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 1999 at the Pensacola Beach Community United Church with the Reverend John Cheshire officiating.
BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway, is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.

ELIZABETH (JACKIE) FLOWERS
Elizabeth (Jackie) Flowers, 65, of Pensacola, died Saturday, November 13, 1999, at a local hospital, following a brief illness.
Survivors include her husband, Obie Flowers, Sr. of Pensacola; daughter, Gail (Billy) Phillips of Pensacola; three sons, Ret. SSG USA Obie (Gloria) Flowers, Jr. of Huntsville, Ala., MSG. USA Gerald (Vanessa) Flowers of Germany, and Dewayne Flowers of Tuskegee, Ala.
Services at 11 a.m. Friday at Oakfield Union Baptist Church with the Rev. J.J. Miller, pastor of Oakfield Union Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens Cemetery.

JULIAN A. HARRIS, SR.
Julian A. Harris, Sr., 78, of Pensacola, died Monday, November 15, 1999, at a local hospital.
Mr. Harris was a native and life long resident of Pensacola. He was employed by the L&N Railroad becoming an electroplater at NARF, Naval Air Station Pensacola, where he worked until his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife, Callie V. Harris.
Survivors include two sons, Julian A. Harris, Jr., and his wife, Blanca and Reuben H. Harris; a grandson, Adam A. Harris; a sister, Annie Bell Williams; a niece, Ida M. McNeil; and a number of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services at 11:45 a.m. Friday, November 19, 1999 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery.
REEDS FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

LAVAUGHN R. HUGHES
Mr. Lavaughn R. Hughes, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 1999 in Bay Minette, Ala.
Mr. Hughes was a resident of Atmore, Ala. and the Deacon of the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church. He was the owner of the McCullough Trading Co.
He is predeceased by two sisters, Mary Lee Dunn and Hattie Wicker.
Survivors include his wife, Emmanette N. Hughes of Atmore, Ala.; a daughter, Hazel and Dennis Nordstrom of Tallahassee, Fla.; his grandchild, Casey Nordstrom of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, J. Kermie and Betty J. Hughes of Monroeville, Ala.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Atmore Memorial Chapel with Elder Horace Nall and Elder James Powell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ray Wicker, Thomas W. Wicker, Rayford Wicker, Jessie Wicker, Jimmy Powell and Michael Nall.

JUEL D. JOHNSTON
Juel D. Johnston, 80, of Pensacola, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999, at his residence.
Mr. Johnston was a life resident of Pensacola and was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. He was a retired Captain having served 23 years in the United States Navy. During WW 2 he served aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise as Radar Officer.
Mr. Johnston is preceded in death by his daughter, Pat and is survived by his wife, Juanita O'Connell Johnston; son and his wife, Wayne and Shirley Johnston of Clayton, N.C.; daughters, Dianne Thomas and Debbie Johnston, both of Pensacola; sister and her husband, Juanita and Joe Gilmore of Kansas City, Mo.; son-in-law, husband of Pat, Jerry Johnson of Pensacola; sister-in-law and her husband, Pat and Harry Walp III of Newport, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 19, 1999, at Little Flower Catholic Church with Fr. Slade Crawford officiating.
Rosary service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church.
OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida in Mr. Johnston's name.

LEONA JUNE OLIN
Leona June Olin, 93, of Pensacola, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999, at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Olin was born in Warren, Ohio, and had resided in Pensacola since 1993, moving here from Akron, Ohio. She was active with the Boy Scouts of America for 10 years.
She is survived by her son, Rex Olin and wife Tsurue Kinjo of Pensacola; grandson, Hiroshi Olin and wife Amber, and their children, Aaron James Olin and Shelby M. Olin, all of Livonia, Mich.; granddaughter, Naomi Black and her daughter, Jessica D. Black, both of Belgium; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 19, 1999 at Bayview Memorial Park.
BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway, is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

LEILA ANN ``BUNNY'' WILLIAMS
Leila Ann ``Bunny'' Williams, 54, of Gulf Breeze, died Monday, November 15, 1999.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Atlanta, Georgia, but had resided in Gulf Breeze for the past six years. She was a member of Gateway Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Len Williams; a son, Len Poole; a sister, Mary Jane Cleveland; and a granddaughter, Jessica Poole.
Services at 2 p.m. Friday, November 19, 1999 at Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home, with Minister Chris Seidman officiating.
Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia.
WATERS AND HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at Waters & Hibbert from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

LUCILLE AYMOND
Lucille Aymond just left all whom she knew and loved here on Earth.
We are truly amazed at the vastness of love left behind. To her progeny and all those she touched along the way. Some of us will learn to love this way. It takes time.
A memorial mass will be said at the Church of the Holy Spirit at 10 a.m., Saturday (Old Gulf Beach Highway), followed by a reception at Holy Spirit Parrish Hall.

JULIA P. BAILEY
Julia P. Bailey, 76, of Pensacola, died Thursday, November 18, 1999, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Bailey was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
Survivors include her husband, Tase E. Bailey, Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Tase E. Bailey, Jr. and Kim Bailey; two brothers, George W. Pape and Clarence E. Pape; grandchildren, Dara Wolfe and her husband Scott Wolfe, Meggan Bailey, and Tase E. Bailey, III.; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Julia Wolfe.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 1999, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with the Rev. Fr. Michael V. Reed officiating.
Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Keith Pape, Clarence Pape, Jr., Richard Pape, Terry Pape, Craig Austad, and Colin Austad.
HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.

The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. at the funeral home Friday.

JAMES E. HARRIS
James E. Harris, 65, of Pensacola, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999, at a local hospital.
Mr. Harris graduated from Pensacola High School, class of 1952, University of Florida with BS in Science, 1956, Florida State University with Masters of Science, 1961, where he was a member of Alpha Delta Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, Miami of Ohio University with Masters of Education Administration, 1965. He worked at Ferry Pass Elementary School from 1952-58, Escambia High School as a chemistry teacher from 1958-65 and was Administrator of Adult Education night program at Pensacola Jr. College from 1965-1995. He was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, member of Warrington Kiwanis Club from 1970 to present and was District Advisor for Northwest Florida Key Club.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Alberta; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Alan Spett of Atlanta, Ga., and her daughter, Shannon Engle, Lisa and Norv Beffa of St. Louis, Mo., and their children, Tyler and Julianne.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 19, 1999 at First United Methodist Church, 6 E. Wright St., with Dr. Henry E. Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Covan, Michael Chesterfield, Timothy Galpin, John Lane, Larry Yeo and Bill Heisler.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy, is in charge of arrangements.

MARY JANE HAYES
Mary Jane Hayes, 80, of Pensacola, died Wednesday, November 17, 1999, at a local hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Claudia Hayes; eight daughters, Mary D. Washington, Estella Crenshaw, Voncile Howard, Ethel Richardson, Ellen Hayes, Marion Hayes, all of Pensacola, and Claudia Cunningham of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sons, John F. Hayes, George Hayes, Sr., Casear Hayes, all of Pensacola, and Wendell Hayes of Arizona.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 1999 at Houser Memorial Chapel with the Rev. A. Pinkard officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

STUART SCHEIFELE
Stuart Scheifele, 65, of Pace, Florida, died Tuesday, November 16, 1999.
Mr. Scheifele was born in Royal Oak, Michigan and received his MBA from the University of Michigan where he was a member of the Chi Psi Fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Scheifele; his sister, Mrs. Kit Kastensmith, of Phoenix, AZ; daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Ben Moreland of Houston, TX, Heidi and Greg Axelrod of Phoenix, AZ; and grandchildren, Lindsay Moreland, Kelsey Moreland and Noah Axelrod.
Stuart was a CPA and the owner of Label Technique Southeast, Inc. and was beloved by friends, family and employees. Employees of LTI will be welcomed from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 1999 at the family residence. Private family services will be held, but friends are welcome at anytime.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice.

ANNIE THELMA STEPHENS
Annie Thelma Stephens, 87, of Pensacola, died Wednesday, November 17, 1999, at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Stephens was born in Odenville, Alabama, and had resided in Pensacola since 1944. She was a member of the Good Sam Club for 26 years, and a member of the Pensacola Baptist Temple.
Her son, Kenneth W. Stephens, preceded Mrs. Stephens in death.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Stephens of Pensacola; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Johnny Meadows of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, November 19, 1999, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 22, 1999 at Kilgore Funeral Home, 1651 Ashville Road, Leeds, Alabama.
Burial will be at New Lebanon Church Cemetery in Springville, Alabama.
