A native of Lynn, Mass., he came here from Tewkeswry, Mass. in 1984. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. Chipman was a member of Angela Santos V.F.W. and a former leader for the Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts.

BELLEVIEW - Garrett W. Eldridge, 77, a retired safe builder, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Estelle's Hospice House in Ocala.
A native of Lexington, Ky., Mr. Eldridge moved here one year ago from Seymour, Ind. He was a member of Charity Chapel in Bedford, Ind., and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

A native of Manhattan, N.Y., he came here from Lakeside, Mich., in 1996. He was Catholic. Mr. Gonzalez served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Gonzalez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Jacques.

OCALA - Donald C. Noxon, a retired building, zoning and licensing director for the city of Ocala, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004.
Born in Queens Village, N.Y., he came here from Long Island in 1964. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, past director of the Building Officials Association of Florida, and past director of the Southern Standard Building Code Conference. He was a senior warden and longtime vestry member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church of Ocala.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

INVERNESS - Martin Gerald Stoehr, 79, a former senior draftsman, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003.
A native of Altoona, Pa., he came to Inverness from Clearwater in 1988. He was a recipient of the Joe Cohen Blanket award. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, during which he was captured in the Battle of the Bulge and remained a prisoner of war until March 1945.
