YPSILANTI -- William H. Vancena, 81, of Ypsilanti and formerly of Monroe, died at 1 p.m. Friday in his home. He had been in poor health for several years. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Bennett Funeral Home, Monroe, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jonathan Perry from New Life Pentecostal Church of Toledo will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Arthur H. Myers
Arthur H. Myers, 83, of Monroe, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday at his home. He would have turned 84 today. Services are pending at the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe.

Marcia Ann Nelson
LAMBERTVILLE -- Marcia Ann Nelson, 63, of Lambertville died Sunday at her home. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at her home, 7219 Kennilworth Dr. There will be no visitation or services. The Bedford Funeral Chapel, Temperance, is in charge of arrangements.

Betty Sue Harris
DUNDEE -- Services have been set for Betty Sue Harris, 52, of Dundee, who died at 7 a.m. Tuesday at her home. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cover Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. James Barnes, minister of the Dunbar Rd. Church of Christ, Monroe, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Mary Pauline Gruse
Mary Pauline Gruse, 93, of Monroe died at 12:20 this morning at Beach Nursing Home. Services are pending at the Bennett Funeral Home.

Carl V. Hall
Services have been set for Carl V. Hall, 62, of Monroe, who died at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday in his home. He had been in poor health for two months. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Earle Little Funeral Home Bacarella Chapel, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Fred R. Cornelius, pastor of Church of God Mountain Assembly, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Henry A. Bourbina Sr.
Henry A. Bourbina Sr., 75, of Monroe died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mercy Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for five years and seriously ill for two weeks. Friends may call from 2 to 9 tonight in the Rupp Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7:30 tonight with the Rev. Tom Byrne officiating. Following the rosary service will be a service by Monroe Council 1266, Knights of Columbus. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Sulkowski, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Lucy McDaniel
Lucy McDaniel, 93, of Monroe died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday at Greenbrook Manor. Services are pending at the Earle Little Funeral Home Bacarella Chapel.

Roy Longworth
HAWTHORNE, Calif. -- Services have been set for Roy Longworth, 81, of Hawthorne, Calif. and formerly of Monroe, who died at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital, Torrance, Calif. He had been in poor health for five years. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight in the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, where services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Dr. Damon Patterson, pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, Monroe, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

LaDonna J. Presto
LaDonna J. Presto, 67, of Monroe died at 4:02 p.m. Thursday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. She had been in poor health since September. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by the Altar Society of St. Michael's Catholic Church. A Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Deacon Mike Engels officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Phyllis L. Goebel
Phyllis L. Goebel, 52, of Monroe died Wednesday morning at Mercy Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, Ohio, where a Scripture reading will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Mark Davis. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and at 10 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky. Rev. Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

Rita L. Dusseau
ERIE -- Rita L. Dusseau, 60, of Erie died at 8:40 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. She had been in poor health from a series of strokes. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Bennett Funeral Home, Erie, where the rosary will be recited at 6 tonight. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at 1 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Erie. The Rev. Joseph Plawecki will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Erie.

Eleanor E. Harwick
TOLEDO -- Eleanor E. Harwick, 79, of Toledo, formerly of Temperance, died Wednesday at Briarfield of Sylvania. Friends may call from 5 to 9 tonight at the Bedford Funeral Chapel, Temperance. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at 10 at St. Clement's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Whiteford Union Cemetery, Whiteford Township.

CAPAC -- F. Earle Brancheau, 77, of Capac, formerly of Newport, died Wednesday. Services were held Saturday at St. John's The Evangelist Catholic Church, Allenton. The Rev. Salvino Briffa officiated. Burial was in Capac Cemetery. Kaatz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

SOUTH ROCKWOOD -- Dennis M. Fante, 48, of South Rockwood, died this morning in Oakwood Hospital, Seaway Center, Trenton, where he had been for three days. He had been ill since a 1988 car accident. Friends may call from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 3 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Ford Chapel of the Allore-Martenson Funeral Home, Rockwood. Services are pending for Thursday. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.

NEWPORT -- Arch Vernon Franklin, 74, of Newport died Thursday in the Mercy Memorial Hospital emergency room, Monroe. He had been ill for a year. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Allore Funeral Home, Monroe, was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Farnham Funeral Home, Temperance. Private burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.

PETERSBURG -- William Bates Jr., 63, of Petersburg died at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Flower Memorial Hospital emergency room, Sylvania, Ohio. Services are pending at the Rupp Funeral Home in Monroe.
