Age: 80
PIQUA - Claude Adams, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Piqua Manor Nursing Home, Piqua.
He was born April 29, 1923, in Greenup County, Ky. to the late D. C. and Ollie T. (Boggs) Adams. He married Willa D. (Owens) Adams Dec. 11, 1948, she survives.
Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Laura Adams of Tipp City, Dean Adams of Piqua and Dennis and Lynne Adams of Piqua; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Adams, five brothers and three sisters.
He was an Army veteran of the 101st Airborne, was a member of the Troy View Church of God, Troy, and retired as superintendent of Tube Products, Troy after 15 years. He was the owner of former Claude's Used Cars in West Milton for 15 years.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Stephen R. Zimbelman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Building Fund of Troy View Church of God.
