HOUSTON ? Anita B. Myers, 87, 2655 State Route 66, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at 8 a.m. at her residence.
Services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home by the Rev. Douglas E. Kranenburg and the Rev. Steve Olson. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Orington, Maine.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until time of the services.

PIQUA - Roy H. Gross, 87, of 690 Snodgrass Road, Piqua, passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at 11 a.m. at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1915 in Shelby County, the son of the late Albert and Emma (Wildermuth) Gross. He married Wonsie M. (Abbott) Gross in 1964, she passed away July 18, 1987.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders with the Rev. Alice Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by the Cromes Funeral Home in Sidney.

PIQUA - Miriam A. (Burch) Riffell, 76, of Piqua, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 at 8:30 p.m. at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 8, 1926, in Piqua to the late George and Helen (Rich) Burch. She married John H. Riffell Sr. on Nov. 4, 1944, in Troy; he preceded her in death in 1982.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 115 Staunton St., Piqua, with the Rev. Thomas Farrier officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. (Indiana time) in Leo Cemetery in Leo, Ind. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Mother of God Church in Covington on Monday. There will be a 5 p.m. memorial service on Sunday at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home. The body was cremated at SouthWest Ohio Crematory in Milford.
