Era Mae Bedelle, 86, of Canton died Tuesday, April 10, 2001.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Huey Funeral Home in Canton, with the Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Fred Bedelle Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn.; one daughter, Shirley Bedelle Hagin of Canton; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Susie McCoy, 84, Canton resident
Susie McCoy, 84, of Canton died Wednesday, April 11, 2001.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sweetwater Baptist Church, with the Revs. Troy Davis and Bobby Daniels officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. today at Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton, performed by the Women of the Moose.
Mrs. McCoy was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and of Women of the Moose.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Saye and Jimmy McCoy, both of Waleska; one daughter, Jean Haynes of Canton; and nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Randall G. Hamrick, 74, World War II veteran
Randall Gene Hamrick, 74, of Waleska died Friday, June 15, 2001.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Huey Funeral Home Chapel in Canton, with Dr. John Bridges and the Rev. Davis Lacey officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton.
Mr. Hamrick served during World War II. He was a Mason and a member of Waleska Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Delene Hamrick; two daughters, Cynthia Poor and Melissa Cox, both of Marietta; three sisters, Adez McTeer of Atlanta, Farah Shirley of Marietta and Bonzelah Findley of Fairmount, and four grandchildren.
Judy B. McCollum, 60, Woodstock resident
Judy Bartlett McCollum, 60, of Woodstock died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodstock Funeral Home, with the Rev. Margaret Adams officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Memory
Gardens.
A Fulton County native, Mrs. McCollum was a retired bank teller for SunTrust Bank in Woodstock. She attended Woodstock United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gene McCollum; one sister, Margaret King of Lithia Springs; two brothers, Virgil Bartlett of Mableton and Larry Bartlett of Austell; and several nephews and nices.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Gary W. Poole, 43, Canton resident
Gary William Poole, 43, of Canton died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton, with the Revs. Horace Richards and Bobby Morris officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mr. Poole worked in construction and was a trim carpenter.
Survivors include one son, Nicholas Poole of Canton; one daughter, Haleigh Poole of Canton; his mother, Ruby Poole of Canton; one brother, David Poole of Canton; two sisters, Diane Williams of Acworth and Janis Killian of Powder Springs; and nephews and nieces.
Marshall Rapp Lawrence
LAWRENCE — Marshall Rapp Lawrence, 86, of Canton died Wednesday, November 29, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife Blanche Orr Lawrence and is survived by daughter Marsha Lawrence of Smyrna, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Bill Lathem of Canton; grandchildren, Cindy and David Hines, Julie and Kevin Smith, Emily and Matt Jobe, Beth, Laura and Leigh Lathem; great-grandchildren, Luke Hines and Hannah Smith , all of Canton. Mr. Lawrence was a longtime resident of Clayton County. During his years in Cherokee County, he joined the Clayton Community Fire Department and became actively involved in the growth of the volunteer Fire Department in the county. He served as Chief of Cherokee County Fire Department from 1979-1984. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church, 3655 Reinhardt College Parkway, Canton, GA. 30114. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2000 at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Forest Park, GA. Reverend Philo McKinnon and Reverend Julia Wiley officiating. Mamie L. Thomason, 84, former Cherokee resident
Mamie Lee Thomason, 84, of Cartersville, formerly of Cherokee County, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton, with the Revs. Curtis Townsend and Walter Townsend officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mrs. Thomason was a homemaker. She was Baptist.
Survivors include one son, Russell Thomas of Adel; three daughters, Clara Townsend of Cartersville, Mary Frances Hansard of Douglasville and Jeanette Hudson of Gainesville; one brother, Virgil Ray of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Edith Watson of Adel; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dawn C. Charbonneau, 42, Canton resident
Dawn Cheri Charbonneau, 42, of Canton died Tuesday, March 27, 2001.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell/Alpharetta, with the Rev. Wayne Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Charbonneau was the only daughter of Hugh Jarrett, former bass singer with the Jordanaires and local TV and radio personality, and Jean Toone Jarrett, both of Woodstock.
Survivors also include her husband, Raymond Charbonneau; one brother, Jeff Jarrett; and two nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Horace Clark, 82, Canton resident
Horace Clark, 82, of Canton died Tuesday, March 27, 2001.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Revs. Doug Mulkey, Greg King and Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mr. Clark was employed by Lockheed for 25 years. He was a 70-year member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Garrett Clark; two sons, Kenneth Clark of White and James Clark of Blairsville; two sisters, Evelyn Gramling and Helen Lawson, both of Canton; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Max L. Hood, 79, World War II veteran
Max L. Hood, 79, of Woodstock died Tuesday, March 27, 2001.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Woodstock Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. T. McHan officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.
A Fairmount native, Mr. Hood served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He retired from the government at the Richard Russell Building as a Civil Service employee. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Athelene J. Hood; one son, Tony Hood of Ellijay; three daughters, Joy Weaver of Titusville, Fla., and Pat Hulsey and Judy Harville, both of Woodstock; one sister, Annie-Will McCampbell of Marietta; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.

Rosalie Joan Dunn, 53, of Marietta died Wednesday, January 28, 2004.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Rutherford, NJ. She attended Farleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ. She lived in Denver, CO, San Carlos, CA, and Rye, NH. She lived five years in Mississauga Onterio, Canada, and moved to Marietta, GA in 1999.
Mrs. Dunn was a volunteer at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta, GA.
Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Dunn of Marietta, GA; two daughters, Marissa Dunn and Lauren Beth Dunn both of Marietta, GA; her mother, Marie Parry of Pinnellas Park, FL; three brothers, Don Parry of Terra Verdia, FL, Michael Parry of Colorado, Thomas Parry of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Marie Theresa Lucska of Pinnellas Park, FL, Carole Wittersclein of Warwock, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Geneva Camp, age 81, of Marietta, died Friday, February 06, 2004.

Born in Sylacauga, Alabama, the majority of her early years were spent in the north Fulton area of Atlanta. She had been residing in Marietta since 1945. Mrs. Camp retired from Lockheed in 1987 after 30 years of service. She worked in the Editing and Publishing Department compiling manuals for airplane construction.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria J. Camp Kee, of Marietta; a son, James H. Camp, Jr., of Monticello; a brother, Thomas T. Guins, Jr., of Cumming; one granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Byron B. Roberts, 82, of Marietta died Saturday, June 5, 2004.

Mr. Roberts was born in Atlanta and raised in Gainesville. He came to Marietta in 1950. He was employed by Lockheed as a planner, and retired in 1980 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta, WWII veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and the U. S. Army, and a member of V.F.W. in East Point, GA. After retiring from Lockheed, he worked as a plumber for over 20 years.
Survivors include one son, Barry Roberts of Valdez, Ak; two daughters, Susie Keith (Greg) of Woodstock, GA and Judy Hutson (Larry) of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, Eddie Hutson, Jeff Hutson, Nicholas Keith, and Bryan Roberts; two great grandchildren, Lane Hutson and Taylor Hutson; several nieces and nephews; his former wife, June Roberts of Marietta, GA; a beloved companion, Martha Sieburt of Marietta, GA.
