Jim Brown, 55, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, in his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Lewis, youth pastor at First Baptist Church of Clinton, Okla.; Duane Hunt and Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor of First Baptist, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; one daughter and son-in-law, Abye and Scott Hunt of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; one grandson, Samuel Hunt of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; one brother, Bob Brown of Amarillo and one aunt, Lil Peterson of Austin.

Lydia LaVerne "Babe" Guilliams, 87, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, in St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Panhandle. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Chris Riley, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating and Rev. John Denton assisting. Burial will be under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include three sons, Elvin Guilliams of Stinnett, Edward Guilliams of Tonkawa, Okla., and Tommy McCollom of Houston; two daughters, Wilma Poole and Cindy Guilliams, both of Borger; two sisters, Juanita Mears of Fritch and Esther Parks of Austin; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in "The Garden of Devotion" at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include his mother, Nonnie Mackey of Fritch; three sons, Michael Taylor of Amarillo, Jordan Taylor of Fritch and Mason Taylor of West Plains, Mo.; two brothers, John Taylor of Denton and David Taylor of Dumas; one step-brother, David Mackey of Fritch and one step-sister, Ann Paulain of Austin.

Thomas Wilson "T.W." Shaw, 87, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, in Albuquerque, N.M. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Mr. Clint West officiating. Interment
was in Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Survivors include his wife, Gene Shaw; one son, Tony Shaw of Kingsland, two daughters, Sydney Tregembo of Capitan, N.M. and Vicki Cook of Hot Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sonja Zoe Sanders, 64, died Monday, June 11, 2001, in Cleveland, Okla. Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Prue, Okla., with Rev. Garry McDevitt officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger with Rev. Calvin Winter, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Okla. Survivors include three sons, Carl Sanders of Mannford, Okla., Scotty Sanders of Albuquerque, N.M., and Terry Sanders of Fritch; one daughter, Sandy Trickey of Fritch; one sister, Kathleen Fast of Prue, Okla.; three brothers, Logan Yarbrough of Cleveland, Okla., Tom Yarbrough of Hominy, Okla., and Jack Yarbrough of Skiatook, Okla.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
