BIG CABIN, Okla. Ina Lou Marcum, 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, in Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Services were held at 2 p.m. today in the Utopia Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Tallman and Tim Smith both officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Garners Jim Green Funeral Home in Pryor, Okla. Survivors include her children, Eddie Marcum, David Marcum both of Sweeny, Robbie Marcum of Henderson, Nev., Gloria Whaling of Sweeny and Bobbie Taylor of Big Cabin, Okla.; brothers and sisters,, Doyle Thompson, Eugene Thompson, Billie Thompson, Ernestine English and Edna McKinney; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

NOBLE, Okla. Marie K. Simmons, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, in Norman, Okla. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chad Chaddick, pastor of Fairlanes Baptist Church, officiating. Interment
will be in the "Garden of the Good Shepard" at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include a son, Bill Simmons of Noble, Okla.; a daughter, Lynda Cunningham of Noble; one sister, Verna Merle Arthur of Dimmitt; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Mick Rogers of the home; one son, Ken Rogers of Panhandle; one daughter, Marsha Greer of Pampa, two step-daughters, Candy Rogers of Borger and Andy Rogers of Fritch; two brothers, Truman Lowrance of Pampa and Homer Lowrance of Munday; one sister, Neoma Malone of Bonham; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

AMARILLO Belle Nettles, 79, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, in Crown of Texas Hospice.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger with Rev. David Pool, Crown of Texas Hospice minister, officiating. Burial will be entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include a son, Bill Nettles of Borger; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Nettles, on Oct. 5, 1985.

Mable B. Wilson, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Lefors. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mobeetie Cemetery in Mobeetie, with Mr. Gary Adams of Stinnett officiating. Survivors include two sons, Jim Wilson and Bill Wilson both of Borger; one daughter, Margie Dennis of Skellytown; one sister, Maggie Myers of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

FT. WORTH Vicki Shirley Tidwell, 40, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shannon North Funeral Chapel 111 W. Northside Drive. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park. Survivors include one son, Kyle Tidwell of Rockport; her mother, Ann Shirley of Iowa Park; one sister, Sheri Rann and her husband, Bobby of Saginaw, Okla. and one brother, Steve Shirley and his wife, Belinda of Borger.

LEFORS Velda Jean Smith, 70, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, in Pampa. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Survivors include her husband, Allan Ray Smith of the home; one son, Robert Smith of Borger; two daughters, Tracie Clarke of El Reno, Okla. and Susan Levick of El Paso; one brother, Wayne Renfroe of Diamond Dale, Mich. and five grandchildren.
Jewell Evinger Sisson
Jewell Evinger Sisson, age 97, born Nov. 3, 1903, at Bengal, Okla., entered into rest on Oct. 22, 2001, at 9:45 p.m. Services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Terry Porter, at 3 p.m. Thursday.
She was preceded in death by her first husband L.M. (Bill) Evinger in 1966, and by her second husband, John Sisson, in 1981. Survivors include her daughter Linda and husband Bob Williams of Sanford; son Jack and wife Marilyn Evinger of La Miranda, Calif.; daughter Helen and husband Charles Mitchell of Haswell, Colo.; son Carl and wife Pat Sisson of Roswell, N.M.; granddaughter Angelia and husband Tim Mason of Mustang, Okla.; grandsons Robert and wife Kim Williams of Spring, Tx., Bryan and wife Colleen Williams of Houston; granddaughters Elizabeth and husband Doug Wilson of Del Mar, Calif., Kathy and husband Richard Johnson of Gallup, N.M.; and grandsons Jim and wife Kris Mitchell of Fairbanks, Ark., Allen Mitchell of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Fred and wife Jeanne Sisson of Bartlesville, Okla.; great-grandchildren Robbie, Jessica and Alex Williams of Spring; Chelsea, Tiffany, Dustin and Trey Mason of Mustang; and Derek Williams of Houston. Jewell is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

STINNETT Kenneth "Red" Nixon, 67, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, in Golden Plains Community Hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene in Stinnett with Rev. Kenneth Benton officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with arrangements entrusted to the care of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include his wife, Betty; one son, Roy Nixon of Stinnett; three daughters, Kathryn Ivy, Brenda Ivy and Kimberly Heiskell, all of Stinnett; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Lewis B. Nichols, III
DALLAS Lewis B. Nichols, III, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Faith Covenant Church in Borger on Nov. 3. Mr. Nichols was born on Jan. 23, 1954.
Survivors include one sister, Nikki Anderson of Atlanta, Ga. and one brother, Dr. Dave Nichols of Houston.

Charles "Keith" Johnson, 68, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Amarillo. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Stinnett with Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor, officiating. Interment
will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Director of Borger. Survivors include his wife, Mary Johnson of the home; brother-in-law, Johnny Cooper of Clarendon; one sister, Freida Birdwell of Clayton, N.M.; five nieces and five nephews.
