Harold W. Smith, 88, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, in his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairlanes Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch and Rev. Chad Chaddick, pastor of Fairlanes Baptist, both officiating. Survivors include one son, Larry Smith of Erie, Colo.; one daughter, Sherry Moore of Borger; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Jessie Lee Mitchell
SANFORD – Jessie Lee Mitchell, 72, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery in Stinnett with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include three sons, Danny Geer of Fritch, Ronnie Geer of Sanford and Shannon Mitchell of Sanford; six daughters, Debbie Jones of Borger, Laurie Abeln of Sheridan, Wyo., Patty Schaefer, Linda Lindsey, Janice Jones, Kathy Sweiger, all of Lebanon, Ore.; three brothers, Marvin Mitchell of Durant, Okla., E.W. "PeeWee" Mitchell of Amarillo and Jessie "Buck" Mitchell of Borger; one sister, Essie Jobe of Calera, Okla.; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

WINNSBORO – Juanita Clare Milam, 79, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, in a Winnsboro hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rosehill Cemetery with Rev. William McCraw officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home, Inc. Survivors include one daughter, Carol McCraw of Winnsboro; one son, James Milam of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Nelda Harris of Bentonville, Ark. and Helen Smyrl of Keler; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

FRITCH – Bettye Clement Graves, 50, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, in Fritch. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister, officiating. Interment
will be in "Sunset Garden" at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include her mother, Irene Clement of Borger; one son, Daryl Clement of Lubbock; nine brothers, Curtis Clement of Borger, W.C. Clement of Fritch, Aubrey Clement of Borger, Oliver Clement, Jr. of Oklahoma, City, Okla., Joe Clement of Amarillo, Matthew Clement of Plainview, Archie Green of Pampa; Waldo Green of Borger and Maxie Alexandra of Borger and one sister, Glenda Clement of Borger.
Raymond Edward Gates
TYLER – Raymond Edward Gates, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Tyler. Services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Mausoleum with Pastor Michael Lawlor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday before the service. Survivors include his wife, Dena Lee Powell Gates; two daughters, Dena Hamm of Tyler and Priscilla and Merl Bryan of Dallas; four grandchildren, Curtis and Marla Boren of Overton, Paul Shafter of Tyler, James and Cindy Hamm of Borger, Shelly and Chuck Fredrick of Farmington, N.M. and 10 great-grandchildren.
W.W. "Curly" Frith
AMARILLO – W.W. "Curly" Frith, 88, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, in Amarillo. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Survivors include his wife, Delberta "Bert" Frith; two sons, Jack Frith and wife, June of Plano and Pat Frith and wife, Deanie of Borger; one daughter, Peggy Foster and husband, Van of Borger; one brother, J.C. Frith of Arlington; one sister, Eunice Wright of Austin; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pauline Lee Cooper
Pauline Lee Cooper, 49, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Cooper; one daughter, Janice Cooper of Borger; three sisters, Paulette Garner, Beverly Swink and Becky Perry all of Borger and three grandchildren.
J.D. Bynum
J.D. Bynum, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in Borger Healthcare Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Survivors include one brother, Donald Bynum of Pampa, and four sisters, Frances Musgraves of Borger, Kay Perry of Lamar, Mo., Betty Flemming of Azle and Ann Darnell of California.
Dalbert W. Barron
Dalbert W. Barron, 85, returned to his Heavenly Father Jan. 30, 2002. Dalbert is survived by his sweetheart Mary of Granite Shoals; his sons, Bert of Dallas Royce of Spanish Fork, UT; four grandchildren, and three sisters, Olive Auld of San Antonio, Oleta Cameron of Albuquerque, N.M. and Pat Barron Frith of Midland. He was preceded in death by his son Joe, two brothers, one sister, and his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 2 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Marble Falls, Texas.
