Robert C. Johnston, 64, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Crown of Texas Hospice in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at Abundant Life Fellowship with Rev. Vince Inman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two sons, Clifton Ray Johnston of Leavenworth, Kan., and Tuxie Ballard of Borger; four daughters, Debbie Ray and Bobbi Chowins, both of Borger, Jana Parrish of Dalhart, and Regina Reynolds of Pittsburg, Texas; one sister, Frances Hefner of Stinnett; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

SKELLYTOWN Edwin F. "Sonny" Lick, 60, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, in Pampa. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the River of Life Assembly of God Church in Skellytown, with Rev. Danny L. Trussell, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Survivors include one son, Eddie Lick of Tulia; one sister, Lois Jean Tietz of Ft. Stockton and two grandchildren.

RICHARDSON Rosella Sparks Huntington died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, in Baylor Medical Center in Richardson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Browns Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Survivors include one son, Butch Sparks of Borger; one daughter, Jeaneen Engler of Dallas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

STINNETT E.M. "Ted" Eakin, 97, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, in Borger Health Care Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Cementery in Stinnett with arrangments entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Eakin was born on Oct. 13, 1904, and was a native of Petersburg, Indian territory. He was a Stinnett resident for 33 years. He worked as an oil field pumper and was Pentecostal Holiness. Survivors include his wife, Dorsey; three sons, Kenneth Eakin of Dumas, Pete Eakin of Stinnett and Cloyce Eakin of Amarillo; two step-sons, David Reed of Arkansas and Dennis Reed of Houston; two daughters, Marlene Brame of Skellytown and Betty Dilbeck of Checotah, Okla.; one step-daughter, Connie Reed of Alexandria, La.; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Calvin Eugene "Gene" Lilley
MEAD, Okla. Calvin Eugene "Gene" Lilley, 79, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Mead Baptist Church with Rev. Kerry Groce officiating. Interment
was in Mead Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Service of Durant, Okla. Military honors were conducted by VFW Post 3916. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lilley of the home; sons, Bruce Lilley of Shawnee, Okla., Mark Lilley of Borger, Joe Lilley of St. Louis, Mo., and Monte Lilley of Sunray; two daughters, Teresa Mounts of Borger and Denise Andrus of Breckenridge; a brother, Boyd Lilley of Durant, Okla.; a sister, Vella Adams of North Ridge, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Jack York Garrard, 87, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, in Borger. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Orville Rogers of the First Baptist Church of Stinnett, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Price-Jackson Funeral Home in Quanah. Survivors include five daughters, Barbara Marshall and Jackie Platter both of Canton, Dianna Sursa of Stinnett, Linda Smith of Quanah and Paula Walker of Greenwood; two sons, Jack Garrard, Jr. of Ft. Worth and J.R. Tucker of Amarillo; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Melvin Eugene Grimes of Linda, Calif., Harold Joe Grimes of Borger; a brother, Lloyd Gullett of Wynona, Okla.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
