Mary Hope Cash
Mary Hope Cash, a former resident of Irving, died Sept. 17 in Rockwall. She was 89. Born in Dallas, July 3, 1908, Mrs. Cash was a member of the Walnut Hill Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Wendell Johnson of Rockwall; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 19 at Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Irving. Interment at Shady Grove Cemetery, Grand Prairie.

Chae Sok Han
Chae Sok "Jason" Han of Irving died Sept. 17 of natural causes at Irving Hospital. He was 56. Born in Korea Oct. 27, 1940, Mr. Han was the owner of H.B. Sewing Co. in Irving for 20 years. He was also a deacon, treasurer and head of the building committee for Church on the Rock in Irving. Mr. Han is survived by his wife, Sun Pun Han; sons Hyon Taek Han of Austin, Chin Taek Han of Irving; daughter Miyong Han-Head of Dallas; brother Jae Eun Han of Colorado, Jae Ung Han of Irving; and sisters Choon Hwa Gunn of Colorado and Jun Hwa Choy of Korea. Services were held Sept. 20 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church Chapel, the Rev. Aaron So officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorials be made to the Church on the Rock Building Fund, 1714 N. Story Rd., Irving, 75061. Arrangements by Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home.

Jimmie L. Jones
Jimmie L. Jones died Sept. 18 in Dallas. She was 50. Born in Idabell, Okla., July 16, 1947, Mrs. Jones worked as a paralegal and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Gary Paul of Hollywood, Calif.; mother, Alma Laverne Hilton of Dennison; her father and stepmother, W.O. and Margie Faulkner of Shawnee, Okla.; daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Jeff Ott of Irving, Suzanne and David Hancock of Lufkin; daughters, Stacy Jones of Denver, Amy Paul of Austin; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Beth Paul of Lewisville; sisters, Pamela Miller of Goldwaithe, Wanda Jackson of Newalla, Okla.; brothers Wayland G. Faulkner of Anchorage, Alaska, Donald O. Faulkner of Royce City, Curtis J. Hilton of Dennison, Harlan J. Faulkner of Newalla, James Faulkner of Lake City, Fl.; and four grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 20 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. James Hilton officiating. The family requests memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Earl Stanley Squires
Earl Stanley Squires died Sept. 13 at Pioneer Care Center in Irving. He was 75. Born June 20, 1916, Mr. Squires was the owner and operator of a retail produce business. He was a member of the Assembly of God. Graveside services were held Sept. 15 at Southland Memorial Park. Arrangements by Brown's Grand Prairie Funeral Home.

Terry Blasingame
Terry Blasingame of Irving died of natural causes Sept. 20. He was 39. Born Nov. 6, 1957, Mr. Blasingame lived in Irving for 25 years. He was previously of Amarillo. He was employed with N.C.H. Corp. of Irving and was active in community activities. Mr. Blasingame is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters Amanda Hill, Terese Blasingame, Amber Blasingame, all of Irving; grandchild McKenzie Hill of Irving; sisters Sherry Kube of New Mexico, Michael Puryear and Chris King, both of Amarillo; mother and step father Barbara and Harland King of Amarillo; father and stepmother Gene and Jan Blasingame of Amarillo; and grandmother Molly Blasingame of Amarillo. Services were held Sept. 23 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, Mark Gomez officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorials be made to Crossroads Interfaith Housing Program, Irving. Arrangements by Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home.

Afton E. Bradam
Afton E. Bradam, 77, of Irving died Saturday, Sept. 20, in an Irving hospital. Born Aug. 2, 1920, in Ada, Okla., he was a 19-year resident of Irving and a member of the Baptist faith. A manager at System 99 in Irving, he was a former employee of Western Gillett, East Texas Motor Freight, and Whitfield in Dallas, as well as Pioneer Freight Lines in Ada, Okla. He was a former member of the Kiwanis, Lions, AMBUCS and Salesmanship Clubs. Survivors include his wife, Helen Bradam of Irving; his sons, Larry Afton Bradam of Hot Springs, Ark., and Ronny Dean Bradam of Arlington; his stepson, E.R. "Butch" Pachall of Spurger; his stepdaughter, Patti Fielden Gayle of Gueydon, La.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Boyd and Roland Lindeman officiating. Graveside services were conducted at Resthaven Cemetery in Midland.

Wayne Eldridge Hartman
Wayne Eldridge Hartman of Irving died Sept. 21 at his home. He was 75. Born in Carrollton, Ky. May 18, 1922, Mr. Hartman was a real estate broker, a charter member of the Irving Republican Club and a member of American Legion Post 218. He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Hartman; daughters Cynthia Dorries of Irving, Wanita Sue Haltom of Houston; sons Wayne L. Hartman of Houston; sister Edith Bollar of Ohio; brothers Warren and Martin Hartman, both of California; grandchildren Scott and Sean Haltom, Joshua Dorries and Paul Hartman; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson Anthony Haltom. Services were held Sept. 24 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Joe Dorries and Edra Hudson officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Lester Hyatt
Lester Hyatt of Irving died Sept. 20. He was 77. Born in Reed, Okla. April 22, 1920, Mr. Hyatt was an electrician. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, with service at Ft. Bliss in El Paso in 1945. He and his wife, Leona Mildred Goff Hyatt, had celebrated 50 years of marriage Sept. 1. Survivors also include daughters Mildred Foshee and Annette Phariss, both of Irving, Opal Sellars of Dallas, Jannette Sinnock of Houston, Linda Barnidge of Ovilla; sisters Gladys Thorn of Arlington, Florine Daley of Perryton, Margaret Scott of Eastland; brothers Alvin Hyatt of Gardenia, Calif., Ray Hyatt of Duncanville, Hugh Hyatt of Waxahachie, Early Hyatt of Bedford; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Hyatt was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Services were held Sept. 22 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Nick Harris officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Edith Yvonne Jones
Edith Yvonne Jones of Hermleigh died Sept. 21 in Irving. She was 82. Born in Collin County April 2, 1915, Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, J.T. "Bud" Jones; daughters Kaleta Torti of Irving, Patricia Watson of Rodeo, N.M.; son and daughter-in-law Jann K. and LaDon Jones of Pilot Point; sister and brother-in-law Tommie Joe and Garth Boyles of Midland; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents and brother. Services were held Sept. 23 at Southside Church of Christ, Robert Lee. Interment at Robert Lee Cemetery. Local arrangements by Brown's Memorial Funeral Home.

Oommen Joseph
Oommen Joseph of Irving died Sept. 20. He was 61. Born in Puhoor, India Oct. 10, 1935, Mr. Joseph was a machinist for the Irving Independent School District, a member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church, the Kerala Assoc. and the Lion's Club. Mr. Joseph is survived by his son David Joseph of Irving; daughters Dr. Elizabeth Joseph of Germany, Mary Joseph of Chicago; sisters Elizabeth Daniel of Carrollton, Omana George, Thakamani John and LeeLamma George, all of India; brothers John Kunnath and Pappaechan Kunnath, both of India; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elemma Joseph. Services were held Sept. 22 at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Father John Kunnathusseril officiating. Interment at Hilltop Cemetery. Local arrangements by Brown's Memorial Funeral Home.

Bertha Florabelle Pastore
Bertha Florabelle Pastore, formerly of Irving, died Sept. 23 in Dallas. She was 89. Born in Clinton, Ind. Feb. 2, 1908, Mrs. Pastore was a seamstress. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Rosella and Bill Ferrell of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law John and Brenda Pastore of Waveland, Miss.; sister Mabel Williams of Clinton; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Bill Ferrell and Tom McMahan officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Alfred Tobias Jr.
Alfred "Alfie" Tobias Jr., 42, of Irving died Friday, Sept. 19, in an auto accident. Born Dec. 12, 1954, in Houston, he was employed at Weir Excavating in Dallas and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Irving. Survivors include his ex-wife, Corrine Tobias of Lewisville; his daughters, Cora Tobias, Christina Tobias, Caroline Tobias and Camille Tobias, all of Lewisville; his parents, Alfred and Susie Tobias of Irving; his brothers, Adolph Tobias of Irving, Abel Tobias of Memphis, Tenn., and Adam Tobias of Irving; and his sisters, Antoinette Tobias of Irving, and Anastasia Tobias-Powers of Las Vegas, Nev. Services were conducted Monday, Sept. 22, at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerome Duesman officiating.

C.D. Weeks
C.D. "Chuck" Weeks, 89, of Irving died Sunday, Sept. 21, in an Irving hopital. Born Aug. 7, 1908, in Fairfield, he was a salesman and served three-and-a-half years in the U.S. Navy Seabees as a chief petty officer during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mittie Batton. He willed his body to the willed-body program at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. There will be no services.

Vivian Virginia Wilson
Vivian Virginia Wilson, 78, died Saturday, Sept. 20, in an Irving hospital. Born Feb. 14, 1919, in Dallas, she was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Irving. Survivors include her son, Paul Lovier Sr. of Mount Vernon; her grandson, Paul Richard Lovier Jr. of Lakeview; her granddaughter, Vivian Lee Grant of Lake Grove, N.Y.; her great-grandchildren, John and Alexis Grant of Lake Grove, N.Y., Paul Richard Lovier III of Lakeview, Zachariah Lee Lovier of Lakeview, and Michelle Rose Lovier of Lakeview. Memorial services were conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
