Albert V. Hill
Albert V. Hill of Fort Worth, formerly of Irving, died Sept. 11. He was 91.
Born Sept. 16, 1906 in Abilene, the son of Virgil P. and Josephine (Dobson) Hill, he was a retired foreman for Direct Mattress in Dallas. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by son, Allen Hill and wife Shirley of Fort Worth; brother, Ottis Hill of Taylor; sisters, Nettie Murphy of Taylor and Lela Murphy of Edgewood; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled to be at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Bradshaw officiating.

Irene Lacy Johnson
Irene Lacy Johnson of Irving died Sept. 9. She was 93.
She was born Feb. 22, 1905, in Clay County, Ala.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruth McGowan of Irving; son, James Hurst of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hurst of Clarks, La.; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sept. 12 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, La.

Estelle Marie Fuller McKinney
Estelle Marie Fuller McKinney, formerly of Irving, died Sept. 9 in Russellville, Ark. She was 67.
She was born March 9, 1931.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. L. and Margeret (Williams) Standerfer; brothers, Ray Standerfer, Eugene Standerfer and Joe Standerfer; sisters, Martha Standerfer and Doris Standerfer Evans and her former husband James W. Fuller.
Survivors include her husband, Paul McKinney; children, Mike McKinney and Paula Hamlin, son James David and his wife Sandra Fuller; granddaughter Edie Marie and her husband Patrick Bryant; sister, Catherine Sexton, Ann Jay, Mary Moore and her husband John Moore, Betty S. Dowden and her husband Buddy Dowden; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Sept. 12 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
Steve Wall
Steve Wall of Irving died Sept. 8. at his home. He was 46.
Born May 17, 1952, in Oelwein, Iowa, he was a baggage department supervisor for American Airlines at D/FW Airport for 12 years. He was also a member of the Transportation Workers' Union at the airport.
Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Janet Wall of Irving; brother, Don Wall of Arlington; Rusty Racicot of Irving; and nephews, Curt Wall of Arlington and Jake Wall of Arlington.
Services were conducted Sept. 11 with a memorial mass at Chapel of the Incarnation at the University of Dallas with the Rev. John Bell officiating.

Bruce Thomes
Bruce Thomes, formerly of Irving, died Sept. 5 in Fort Collins, Colo. He was 36.
Born Oct. 11, 1961, in Dallas, the son of Richard J. and Anna (Lillian) Walsh, he was a consultant in veterinary medicine. He was also a graduate of MacArthur High School, attended Texas A&M University and graduated from the University of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Craig Thomes, grandparents, Evelyn Thomes and James Walsh.
Survivors include his parents, Dr. Richard and Bettye Thomes of Irving, and Anna and Dean Albin of Richardson; sisters, Lorelai Moody and husband Jon of Euless, Michelle Beach of Grapevine, Jenice Cutler and her husband Trey of Colorado, and Jennifer Day of Dallas; brother, Allan Meagher and wife Kelly of Irving; grandparents, Edwin J. Thomes of Euless, Lucile Walsh of Dallas, and Mary Kennedy of Port Arthur; six nieces; and six nephews.

Molly Rogene "Jean" O'Keefe of Irving died Sept. 5 at a Wills Point nursing home. She was 76.
Born Sept. 14, 1921, in Grand Prairie, the daughter of Jack and Rosa (Embrey) Grayson, she was a retired beautician, member of Oak View Baptist Church and past president Women's Auxiliary of VFW Post 2494.
She was preceded in death by her husband John W. O' Keefe, Sr.
Survivors include her son, John O'Keefe Jr. and his wife Joann of Wills Point; daughters, Janie Tucker and her husband Jimmy of Edgewood, and Sue Tolleson and her husband Norman of Knox City; sister, Nadine Carroll of Irving; brothers, J. Jobie D. Denton
Jobie D. Denton of Irving died Sept. 2 at an Irving hospital. He was 79.
Born Jan. 8, 1919, in Hollis, Okla., the son of George D. and Dollie (Cain) Denton, he was retired after 34 years as a salesman with General Portland Cement in Dallas. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Irving, where he was a deacon.
He was a member of the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was also a member of the Irving Masonic Lodge No. 1218 AF&AM and a Red Cross volunteer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine J. (Davis) Denton; and brother, Johnny W. Denton.
He is survived by sons, Jobie Denton Jr. and his wife, Pam of Southlake, Jerrell Denton and his wife, Debe of Highland Village; daughters, Linda Ratliff of Irving, and Janice Calvert and her husband, Paul of Irving; sister, Violet Dean of Muleshoe; grandchildren, Lance D. Inez Juanita Hart Dishong, formerly of Irving died Sept. 11. She was 89.
She was preceded in death by son, Ralph Edward.
She is survived by daughter, Margaret Taylor of Canton; eight grandchildren; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
