David Lon Adams of Irving died Nov. 30. He was 43. Born Aug. 4, 1954 in Dallas, Mr. Adams was a custodian. He is survived by his sisters, Lynette Heflin of Irving, Claudia Adams of Tawkoni; brothers Ed Adams of Irving, James Adams of Shreveport, La.; four nieces and one nephew. James Houston Brumley of Grand Prairie died Dec. 1. He was 52. Born Feb. 9, 1945 in Sulphur Springs, Mr. Brumley was a machinist for Hardcote Technologies. He is survived by his father, Clyde Brumley of Sulphur Springs; son James Brumley of Fort Worth; daughter Donna Jeffus of Irving; brothers Jerome Brumley of Irving, Donald Brumley of Frankston, Timothy Brumley of Red Oak; grandson Dylan Wayne Brumley of Irving and an extended family. Ruth Mary Hodges
Ruth Mary Hodges of Irving died in Grand Prairie Nov. 29. She was 88. Born in Portage, Penn. June 6, 1909, Mrs. Hodges was a retired registered nurse. She is survived by her husband Frank Hodges; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Richard Sewell of Tulsa, Okla.; brother Phil Hodges of Stephens, Ark.; and five grandchildren. Services were held Dec. 2 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Irving, Father Doug Deshotel officiating. Interment

Audrey M. Keith
Audrey M. Keith of Irving died Nov. 29. She was 78. Born in New Baden April 12, 1919, Mrs. Keith was a teacher at J.O. Schulze Elementary in Irving for 21 years. She was a 31-year member of Oak View Baptist Church, a member of the Irving Retired Teachers Association, a member of "Friends Who Care" with the Baylor Hospital of Dallas Volunteer Services; a member of Wilshire Baptist Church Sewing Group and numerous other organizations. Mrs. Keith is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Earl Parks of Carrollton; step daughter and step son-in-law Gale and Ron Davis of Kemp; six grandchildren, including Lisa and David Birmingham of Carrollton; four step grandchildren including Diana Morelock of Irving; 11 great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Services were held Dec. 2 at Oak View Baptist Church, the Rev. Wallace Philpot officiating. Interment

Mary Helen Neal of Irving died Nov. 28 of natural causes at Irving Hospital. She was 72. Born Aug. 30, 1925 in Buckholts, Mrs. Neal was a homemaker. She lived in Irving for 36 years and previously resided in Waco and at Fort Hood. Mrs. Neal is survived by her husband, Earl D. Neal; son David E. Neal of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law Charles R. and Billie L. Neal of Irving, Robert L. and Mary Helen Neal of Whitehouse, Curtis A. Neal and Rhidonah Ladner-Neal of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and eight grandchildren, including William Earl Neal of Irving. Graveside services were held Dec. 1 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, the Rev. Brandon L. Phillips of Irving died Dec. 1 in Dallas. He was 18. Born Dec. 5, 1978 in Madison, Ind., Mr. Phillips was a clerk for Braums Dairy Store. He is survived by his father and step mother, Barry L. and Callie Phillips of Hanover, Ind.; mother and step father, Teresa and James T. Raymond Stevenson
Raymond "Steve" Stevenson of Irving died Nov. 29 of natural causes at Trinity Medical Center in Lewisville. He was 69. Born Sept. 10, 1928 in Dallas, Mr. Stevenson had lived in Irving since 1953 but had also spent a good deal of time in Emory during the last several years. He retired in 1985 after 27 years as a truck driver for Transcon Lines and attended the Elmwood Methodist Church in Dallas. Mr. Stevenson was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, with service in the Korean war. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Stevenson of Irving; daughter Barbara Prater of Irving; son Robert Stevenson of Irving; sister Dorris Nichols of Carrollton; and grandchildren Lori and Justin Prater and Kelli and Kristi Stevenson, all of Irving. Services were held Dec. 1 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Charles York officiating. Interment

Vera Pearl Weaver of Dallas died Nov. 27. She was 81. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jeane and George Dato; sisters Rachel Reneau, Imogene Anderson; brother Eugene Williams; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
