GLENDORA, Calif. - Graveside services for William G. "Pa" Morgan will be held today at 9 a.m. at Oakdale Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, in Azusa, Calif.
Survivors include his mother, Margie Morgan of Meridian; two brothers, Lynwood Morgan and Lennard Morgan; his son, William G. Morgan III; his daughter, Marilyn Smith; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Morgan, originally of Meridian.

Ada S. Cunningham

Graveside services for Ada S. Cunningham will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, with the Revs. Jason Bird, James Ruffin and Ken Patterson officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cunningham, 86, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Grove Burnet Chapter of the Eastern Star and Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. She was past nobel grand of Miriam Rebecca Lodge.
Survivors include her nephew, Billy Blackledge; a niece, Linda Sullivan; a dear friend, Annie Ruth Eatman of Meridian; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Laverne Cunningham; her parents, Wesley and Lelia Slayton; and a sister, Mary S. Blackledge.
The family requests memorials be made to Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, building fund.

Services for Kolie Kire Evans will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at John the Baptist Church in Barnet, with the Rev. Sam McDonald Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Evans, 67, of Pachuta, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Matthew Evans of Pachuta; two daughters, Earcel Pierce and her husband, Willie James, and Shelia Bryer and her husband, Norvie, all of Whistler, Ala.; a son, Lyronzo D. Evans of Prichard, Ala.; two sisters, Mae C. Bridges of Meridian and Dorothy Husband of New Orleans; a brother, Gaython McKenzie and his wife, Velma, of Pachuta; three grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Donald M. Moulds

Services for Donald M. "Donnie" Moulds will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Newbaker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery off Valley Road.
Mr. Moulds, 40, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, in his home. He was a member of Savoy Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Morris and Esther Moulds of the Savoy Community; three sisters, Kathy Moulds of the Savoy Community, Cindy Moulds of the Valley Road Community and Robin Beckham of Philadelphia; a brother, Ken Moulds of the Valley Road Community; three nephews, Justin McMillan, Brian McMillan and Matthew Beckham; and his grandmother, Ruby Williams of Meridian.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home.

Lillie Mae Billy
SEBASTOPOL - Services for Lillie Mae Billy will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Simon Isaac Cemetery in Philadelphia with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Billy, 73, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Choctaw Health Center.
Survivors include six daughters, Sally Steve of Chicago, Ill., Nancy Farve, Madiel Garcia, Mattie McMillan and Oree Bell, all of Philadelphia, and Dessie Bownas of Peoria, Ill.; two sons, Joseph Billy Jr. and Julius Wade Billy, both of Philadelphia; four brothers, Charles Isaac, Nelson Isaac, O.D. Isaac and Johnnie Isaac, all of Philadelphia; three sisters, Delphia Willis, Mary Lou Robinson and Saline Hickman, all of Philadelphia; 35 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Billy and a son, Terry Billy.

Claude Yates Sam
SEBASTOPOL - Services for Claude Yates Sam will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Carthage, with the Rev. Authur Ben officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sam, 65, of Carthage, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Leake Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Sam, a daughter, Melinda Kopaddy, two sons, Ricky Lewis and Ralph Sam, all of Carthage; two sisters, Nettie Tubby of Philadelphia and Grace Willis of Carthage; a brother, R.B. Sam of Carthage; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Carl J. Nance will be held today at 11 a.m. at Nowell Funeral Services, with the Revs. Brown Barrier and Cliff Crosby officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
Mr. Nance, 86, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Union.
Survivors include two sons, Frankie Nance of Decatur and Aubrey Nance of Philadelphia; three grandchildren and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Iva Lee McKeithen Singleton Brown
Services for Iva Lee McKeithen Singleton Brown will be held today at 1 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home chapel, with the Revs. Allen Dearing and Davey Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, 88, of Meridian, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Jean Roberts Brown of Philadelphia; three stepsons, Charles Brown, Don Brown and W.L. Brown; two sisters, Alma Maggard and Gracie Joyner, both of Meridian; several grandchildren including, Polly Roach of Trumann, Ark., and Patsy Johnston of Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her relatives.

Tillman Kirksey

QUITMAN - Services for Tillman Kirksey will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, with the Rev. Advil McKinzie officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kirksey, 89, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include four daughters, Jerlean Kirksey of Quitman, Ora Ingram and her husband, Lindsey, of Freehold, N.J., Betty House and her husband, Percy, of Springfield, N.Y., and JoAnn Kirksey of New York,; five sons, Monroe Kirksey of Chicago, Tillman Kirksey Jr. and his wife, Annie Bell, of Hattiesburg, Edward Kirksey of Hattiesburg, Johnny Kirksey of Atlanta, and Fred Kirksey of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home.

NEWTON - Services for Lorene Chatham will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Newton United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Curtis Cain and Ann James officiating. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery in Rose Hill with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Miss Chatham, 90, of Rose Hill, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Newton Regional Hospital. She was employed as a school teacher and retired after 49 years of service, and was principal of Newton Elementary School.
Survivors include a sister, Cora Chatham Hindman of Newton and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home.

Hillman W. Lundy

PHILADELPHIA - Graveside services for Hillman W. Lundy were held Saturday at Cedarlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Dennis Duvall officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lundy, 86, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. A native of Neshoba County's Bloomo community, he was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, a Mason and a Shriner.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jane Carter of Ackerman and Meg Barker of Philadelphia; six granchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Grover C. Willis

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Grover C. Willis will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Dwight Fleming and Brown Barrier officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemeter y.
Mr. Willis, 85, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at Neshoba County General Hospital.
Survivors include four sons, Dee Alan Willis of Hernando, Carl Woodard Willis of Picayune, Polan Draughn Willis of Decatur, Ala. and Kevin Brooks Willis of Decatur, Ala.; two daughters, Norma Hankins of Madison and Renae Wilson of DeKalb; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Miss Crooks, 97, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Meridian.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Martha Tarver of Quail, Texas, Mary Ann McDonald of Birmingham, Ala., Barbara Allen Walker of Forest, Margaret M. Bracken and Robert McQueen, both of Enterprise, Walter M. "Mickey" Allen of Pineland, Texas, Frank Allen of Brookland, Texas, Hugh Williams of Houston, Texas, Thomas Clifton Fowler Jr. and Joseph P. "Joe" Allen.

Curvin Staples Miller
GILBERTOWN, Ala. - Services for Curvin Staples Miller will be held today at 1 p.m. at Toxey Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Brightwater Cemetery in Needham with Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Miller, 80, of Needham, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Coody Miller of Needham; a son, Bobby Dell Miller of Butler; a daughter, Rebecca Miller of Needham; two brothers, Vivian Miller of Butler and Howard Miller of Mobile; two sisters, Lucille Lewis of Demopolis and Louise Cook of Georgia; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curvin S. and Labelia Holcombe Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Inell Chute, and a stepdaughter, Donna Gatlin, both of Lake Wales; a stepson, Danny Clearman of Union; two sisters, Alma Jackson of Searsmont, Maine, and Muriel Hart of Belfast, Maine; and four granddaughters.

Mr. Tyree, 94, of Meridian, formerly of Butler, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, in Quitman. He was a longtime paper carrier for The Meridian Star.
Survivors include a son, Calvin Tyree of Bolder, Colo., and a daughter, Rita Jenkins of Meridian.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moore, 79, of Quitman, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, in her home. She was a member of Montrose Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Henry M. Moore of Quitman; a daughter, Beverly M. Rawson and her husband, J.T., of Quitman; a son, Roderick A. Moore and his wife, Jane, of Brandon; four grandchildren, Robbie Riley, Marlena Smith, Brad Moore and Necole Ray; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
