Curvin H. Houck, of York, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Houck, Hanover, and Mrs. Lillian E. Marshall, of Westminster, were married in West Virginia, October 29th, by the Rev. Austin A. Kelly. For the present the young couple will reside in York. In the spring they will move to the farm which Mr. Houck recently purchased from Miss Mamie Moritz, near Seven Hundred.
Miss Mary S. Reinecker, of Gettysburg, and Peter F. McCallian, formerly of Andover, Mass., were married by Rev. Fr. W. F. Boyle in St. Francis Xavier rectory, Gettysbuurg, on Saturday evening. During the war Mr. McCallian was stationed at Camp Colt in 1917. He later went to France, and served there sixteen months. At present he is employed in the tailor establishment of John W. Brehm, Getysburg. Mrs. McCallian has been employed in the Gettysburg Department Store for several years.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21st, Miss Blanche C. Sprenkle, of Fairfield, was married to Robert Sanders, of Emmitsburg, by Rev. Fr. Scanlon, in St. Mary's church. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Sprenkle, of near Fountaindale.
Miss Erma Masenheimer, the 20-year-old daughter of Harry Masenheimer, of Hanover, and Earl Matthias, of Baltimore, were married October 27th in Baltimore, where the newlyweds will reside.
