Hazel A. Kauffman, 93, formerly of Manheim, died Thursday, July 26, 2001 after a long illness at 2308 Cambridge Circle, Hatfield, where she lived for the past seven years.
Mrs. Kauffman worked 40 years for the former Raymark Industries, Manheim, where she was a member of the 25 Year Club.
Born in Chester County, Hazel was the daughter of the late Howard and Jenny Hess Hays.
Her husband, Amos R. Kauffman, died in 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Reba J., married to William Duncan, with whom she lived; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Hays of Media.
Hazel was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Arthur and Bronson Hays; and two sisters, Esther Fuller and Carolyn Hays.

KAYLOR, MARY H., 85, owned garage
Mary H. Kaylor, 85, of 600 East Main Street, Lititz, formerly of Elm, died Monday, July 9, 2001 after a lengthy illness at Luther Acres Retirement Community, where she lived for the past 25 years.
With her husband, Mary owned and operated Kaylor's Garage, Manheim, from 1947 to 1969. She also was a secretary-bookkeeper for the business.
A lifetime member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penryn, Mary was a member of the women's group, helped to make quilts and served as the church's representative to Luther Acres.
As a volunteer at Luther Acres, Mary helped residents with canning and worked in the store.
Mary enjoyed vegetable gardening.
Born in Penn Township, Mary was the daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie Habecker Long.
Her husband, E. Mark Kaylor, died in 1978.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth L., married to Kathleen M. Herrle Kaylor of Manheim; a daughter, Betty M., married to J. Richard Garman of Lititz; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two brothers, Silas Long of Lititz and Isaac Long of Denver; and a sister, Martha Flickinger of Lititz.
Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and Paul Long; and two sisters, Ruth Kohr and Esther Weidman.

KISSINGER, MARY E., 92, of Manheim
Mary E. Kissinger, 92, formerly of 113 West Ferdinand Street, Manheim, died Wednesday morning, July 11, 2001 of natural causes at Rheems Nursing Center.
Mary worked 24 years for the former B-J Manufacturing Company, Lancaster Junction, retiring in 1988. Previously, Mary worked 31 years as a sewing machine operator for the former William H. Noggle and Sons Manufacturing Company in Manheim.
Born in Warwick Township, Mary was the daughter of the late Issac and Susan P. Hollinger Leslie.
Mary was a 45-year member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim, where she was involved with the church's fellowship committee, Bible school and United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Kissinger also was a member of the Manheim Historical Society, Manheim Vetereans of Foreign Wars Post 5956 Auxiliary and Stiegel Roses, Manheim.
Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, traveling and making clothes for her grandchildren.
Her husband, Raymond K. Kissinger, died in 1964.
Mary is survived by two sons, Raymond L., married to Helga Marquardt of Arizona, and Ronald E. of Las Vegas; three daughters, Arlene M., married to Raymond L. Moyer of Manheim, Gladys I. Shelly of Lancaster and Betty J. Grant of East Petersburg; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by three sisters, Amy Ruhl, Blanche Forrester and Mabel Heagy; and a half brother, Roy Hunchberger.

Her former residence, the Keith House, was moved by the Manheim Historical Society and opened as a museum.

Percilla did domestic cleaning in the Manheim area.
Surviving is one sister, Dorothy Moser of Lancaster.

Glenn E. Miller, 41, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was under a doctor's care.
Glenn lived seven years at the Welsh Mountain Home, 567 Springville Road, New Holland, Pennsylvania.
Glenn belonged to Friendship Baptist Church, New Holland, and was formerly active with Ephrata Area Rehabilitation Services.
Born in Lancaster, Glenn was the son of Abram L. Miller of Manheim and the late Esther P. Peters Miller.
Glenn enjoyed traveling and playing bingo and billiards.
Surviving besides his father is a sister, Joyce E. married to Kirk D. Shenberger of Manheim.

Betty worked many years as a hostess at Kreider Family Restaurant, Manheim.
A member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim, Betty enjoyed flower gardening and landscaping.
Born in Lancaster County, Betty was the daughter of the late Harrison and Minnie Gibble.
Her husband, Fred H. Raudabaugh, died in 1985.
Surviving are five sons, J. Dennis of Walport, Oregon; Fred, married to Crystal Raudabaugh of Crosby, Minn., Steve and James S. RUHL, HAGER, E., 74, Weaver's Manager
Hager E. Ruhl, 74, of 109 Morning Glory Lane, Manheim, formerly of East Petersburg, died of natural causes Wednesday, July 4, 2001 at Lancaster General Hospital.
Hager worked 36 years as a manager for the S. Clyde Weaver Inc. stand at Lebanon Farmer's Market, retiring in 1986. During the 1940's Hager operated the first bulk feed truck east of the Mississippi for the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
Hager served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Perry.
A former member of East Fairview Church of the Brethren, Hager attended Hempfield Church of the Brethren, both in Manheim.
An avid hiker, photographer, traveler and camper, Hager was a member of East Petersburg and Lancaster Hiking Clubs and was awarded citations for walking the Horse-Shoe and Appalachian trails.
Born in Manheim, Hager was the son of the late Homer H. and Anna Mary Bomberger Ruhl.
Hager was married 53 years on June 19 to Betty J. Rambler Ruhl.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Becky R., married to Gary L. Penn, of Dallas; three sons, Joseph A., married to Jean Ruhl of Phoenix Ariz., Curt R., married to Sandy Bromhead Ruhl of Denver, Scott R., married to Merrianne Williamson Ruhl of Lancaster; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Hilda, married to Isaac Weaver of Lancaster and Floy Underwood of Davie, Florida.

Barry A. Shue, 49, of 1708 Mount Joy Road, Manheim, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at home. Lancaster County Coroner, Dr. Barry Walp, ruled the death a suicide.
Barry worked more than 20 years in the casting department at Alcoa Mill Products Inc., Lancaster.
Barry was member of Erisman Mennonite Church in Manheim.
Barry enjoyed restoring antique automobiles.
Born in Lancaster, Barry was the son of Paul W. and Vera Brubaker Shue of Manheim.
His wife, Patti Jean Keath Shue, died in 1996.

Aaron L. Snader, age 57, of 140 North Ronks Road, Ronks, PA died unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, July 29, 2001 at York Hospital.
He was the husband of Diana S. Boyer Snader. Born in Denver, PA he was the son of Mary Landis Snader of Landis Homes and the late Jacob Snader.
Aaron was employed by Horst Construction, Lancaster as a carpenter for 26 years.
He was a member of Be Set Free In Jesus Ministries, Red Lion, PA where he served as leader of the church music worship team, playing keyboard, guitar and bass guitar. Aaron also composed music and lyrics and gave private guitar lessons. Aaron graduated from Cocalico High School and attended Messiah College in Grantham, PA.
Surviving beside his wife and mother is a daughter, Mellisa K. married to Craig A. Peifer, Ronks; two step daughters, Michelle L. married to Joel Johnson, Brogue and Christa married to Michael Wise, Windsor; a brother, John married to Evelyn Spangler Snader, Myerstown; seven sisters, Emma married to Lloyd Oberholtzer, Bamberg SC, Amanda married to John Clymer, Jr., Denver, CO., Sarah married to Kenneth Shearer, Mount Joy, Pearl married to Richard K. WENGER, HENRY G., 86, was a builder
Henry G. Wenger, 86, of 605 Pine Hill Road, Lititz, died of natural causes Sunday, July 29, 2001 at Essa Flory Hospice Center.
A self-employed builder for 17 years, Henry retired in 1989. Later he worked on his farm in Warwick Township.
Since 1936, Henry was a member of Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, Lititz where he also was an ordained minister for 18 years.
An avid hunter, Henry also enjoyed farming.
Born in Ephrata, Henry was the son of the late Moses H. and Lizzie M. Gockley Wenger.
Henry was married 65 years to Mary Myer Wenger.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, J. Paul, married to Shirley Groff Wenger of Lititz, and Ivan H., married to Marian Hess Wenger of Beavertown; a daughter, Anna W., married to B. Robert Charles of Ephrata; a sister, Esther G., married to Walter N. Hackman of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by six brothers, David, Amon, Samuel, Norman, Edwin and John.

Victor owned and operated a family farm in Rapho Township. He also worked for Adcock Brothers Inc., in Manheim and the Manheim Auto Auction.
Victor was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren in Manheim.
Born in Rapho Township, Victor was the son of the late Rufus and Elsie Givler Wenger.
Victor was married 47 years in November to Norma Heagy Wenger.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Steven R., married to Kathryn K. Kylander Wenger, and Barry L., married to N. Kristell Mentzler Wenger, both of Manheim; two daughters, Debra L., married to William M. Holcolm of Coopersburg, and Kathy A., married to Michael S.
