Hazel B. Buch, 72, of 42 Naomi Avenue, Landisville, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday evening, March 2, 2002 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
Hazel worked at Kerr Glass Incorporated in Lancaster for 17 years retiring in 1985. She previously worked at Hamilton Watch Company and the former Shick Corporation both in Lancaster.
Born in Fulton Township, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Day and Olive Trimble Fisher.
Hazel was married 43 years in January to Robert W. Buch.
Hazel was of the Christian Faith.
She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 767 in Lancaster, a member of Seventh Ward Club and the Lancaster City and County Shuffelboard League for over 20 years. She was on the same shuffelboard team with her husband at the Lancaster Moose Lodge.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, James R. Duffey of Saluda, South Carolina; two daughters, Debra D. married to Robert L. Schaeffer of Elizabethtown, Barbara L. married to Randy L. Groff of Conestoga, four grandchildren, brother, James M. married to Nancy Fisher, New Providence and a sister, Sara Todd of Curwensville.
Hazel was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Ruth H. Denlinger, 93, of 151 Hartman Bridge Road, Ronks, died of natural causes Friday evening at home.
Ruth was a member of Mellinger Mennonite Church.
A homemaker, Ruth was an avid birdwatcher and gardener. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and reciting poetry.
Born in Salisbury Township, Ruth was the daughter of the late Frank B. and Lydia V. Buckwalter Hershey.
Ruth was married to Paul B. Denlinger, who died in 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond H., married to Marilyn Horst Denlinger of Lancaster, and Lloyd H., married to Norma Leaman Denlinger of Strasburg; three daughters, Dorothy M., married to Ira G. Nolt of Poquoson, Virginia, Rhoda D., married to Allen W. Carr of Middletown, and Mary Ann, married to Cleo R. Hershey of New Holland; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; and three brothers, Frank L, married to Kathryn Kreider Hershey of Landis Homes, Elmer Hershey of the Mennonite Home, and Ephriam, married to Arlene Eshleman of Russellville.
Ruth was preceded in death by a brother, six sisters and two grandsons.

ESHLEMAN, DIAN E, 47, Bank Supervisor
Dian E. Eshleman, age 47, of Village Road, Lampeter, Pennsylvania, died Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2002 at Essa Flory Hospice Center following a lengthy illness.
Dian was the wife of John Thomas Eshleman. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary October 10, 2001. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of J. Edward and Jeanne M. Beeler Brenneman of Lancaster.
Dian was employed at Bank of Lancaster County for 27 years. She held several positions in Bookkeeping and Deposit Operations and worked as Special Services Supervisor from 1993 until her illness.
She was a life member of Girl Scouts, USA. serving for 39 years. She served on the ladies auxiliary to the Paul R. Strubel Post #8710, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Strasburg and the Lampeter Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Strasburg Historical Society.
Dian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lancaster where she served as an usher and nursery helper. She also actively attended the First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg.
She was a 1973 graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sailing, and traveling.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by three sisters, Twila M. Nahama of Baltimore, MD, Inda M. married to George D. Mahler, Jr. of Watkins Glen, NY, and Mila J. married to Michael R. Good of Lompoc, CA.

Jeffrey A. Getty, 57, of 320 West Stiegel Street, Manheim, PA, died unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday, March 21, 2002 at his home.
Jeff was a marketing manager for Factory Direct Windows and Kitchens in York, PA since 1994.
Born in Daytona Beach, Florida, Jeff was the son of the Late John C. Jr. and Bernice Linnert Getty.
His wife, Donna J. Rauch Getty, died September 18, 1998. She was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in the Pittsburgh area.
Jeff was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Manheim.
Jeff was an avid golfer, he enjoyed Nascar Racing, Professional and College Football, and Civil War History. Jeff spent many hours with his granddaughter.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey B. Getty, of Leesport, PA, a stepson, Jamie Rosenberry of Manheim, and a stepdaughter, Amy Jo Rosenberry of Manheim, two step-grandchildren, two sisters, Gwenn E. Getty, and Joan B. Getty, both of Oregon.

Blanche L. Keller, 78, formerly of 24 East Ferdinand Street, Manheim, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Pleasant View Retirement Community where she was a resident since 1993.
Blanche was a secretary and receptionist for Manheim Belting Company, now Fenner Company for 25 years. Previously, Blanche worked for the former Noggles Garment Factory in Manheim.
Blanche was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Manheim.
She enjoyed traveling especially her trips to Florida.
Born in Manheim, Blanche was the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha Balmer Keller.
Surviving are a brother, A. Gordon, married to Lois J. Hernley Derstler of Lititz; three nieces and 13 grand nieces and nephews.

Phyllis K. “ Fritzie “ Miles, 63, of 649 Newport Road, Elm, PA died Wednesday morning, March 6, 2002 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster following an illness of several months.
Born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Marjorie Lewis Lewis.
Phyllis was the wife of George M. Miles and they observed their 45th wedding anniversary on February 2nd of this year.
Mrs. Miles retired from Armstrong World Industries, Lancaster in 1994 after serving with the company for 22 years.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and working with crafts. An avid reader, she spent many hours with her grandchildren.

Edwin A. Moore, 79, of 3617 North Colebrook Road, Manheim, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday Morning at his home following a brief illness.
Edwin was married to Alta S. Summy Moore. They observed their 40th wedding anniversary on February 28, 2002.
Born in New York City, New York, Edwin was the son of the late William C. and Mae F. Heilferty Moore.
Edwin was a life-time printer and worked for a number of Lancaster County Printing Companies. He was co-owner of the former Hiawatha Inn, Manheim, from 1974 to 1983.
Edwin was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II.
He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elizabethtown.
Edwin was a First Lieutenant Fire Police for the Mastersonville Fire Company and active for over 30 years. Edwin was a member of Lancaster County Fire Police Association, Campbelltown American Legion, Elstonville Sportsman Association and volunteered as a teachers aide at the Fairview Elementary School in the Elizabethtown Area School District.
Edwin enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Danni M. married to Randy Wehr, Alburtis, PA, Beth A. married to William R. Strauss of Lititz and Amy K. married to Raymond W. Lookenbill Jr. of Mount Joy and eight grandchildren.

Linda A. “Lynn” Myers, 54, of 75 Circle Drive, Manheim, died Saturday evening, March 9, 2002 at Conestoga View, Lancaster, following a long illness.
Her husband, Martin V. “Marty” “Mots” Myers, died January 30, 2002.
Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Linda was the stepdaughter of Robert Pipkin, Millersville and the daughter of the late Don Walters and the late Dorothy Koerkle Walters Pipkin.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manheim.
Linda was a receptionist at the Host Resort and Conference Center in Lancaster.
She was an artist with pen and ink media, wrote poetry and short stories.
Lynn was the Multiple Sclerosis “Mother of the Year in 1981”.
Linda graduated in 1965 from Ridley Township High School in Delaware County.
